Great view. I did get up for sunrise everyday. I go some amazing photos. There were lots of families from diverse backgrounds. The staff is wonderful and the food is extremely good.

I can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s in a beautiful location on the Atlantic Ocean. The property was very clean and the staff were amazing. Anything we needed they were there. They got a car for us, told us about some good places to go and the food was incredible. We will definitely be back!

We ate 5 VG meals at the restaurant, used the pool, and walked the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was all attentive and professional.
La Bougainvillea is quite good value.

Great stay, staff and food. Small in type report. We stayed in the cottage with kitchenette which is more private and separate from the rest of the resort - would be nice if the path was more defined/stones. There’s only 7 or so rooms here. Food was fantastic and we’ve heard one of the best on the island. Beach is absolutely lovely and swim-able. Only complaint is that there aren’t reliable places to rent cars here (we tried to book and were told everything from $70-200/day, and sent to websites that had red screen security issues and chose not to enter our credit card).

A breathtakingly beautiful properly, with an terrific staff, lead by an outstanding General Manager. The rooms were large and comfortable. The meals and the drinks were very good. The view is just astonishing.Keep in mind that the bar and restaurant close at 8:30 PM daily.

Stellar experience at La Bougainvillea! My twin sister and I were celebrating a BIG birthday and our retirements so we really wanted the trip to be very special and La Boug was just perfect! From our earliest communications, we felt that we were dealing with a highly professional operation which reflected warm hospitality, personable service, professionalism, and a desire to make our experience of Eleuthera as memorable as possible. When we arrived, we were greeted with a cool delicious rum and citrus drink and the relaxed vibe which continued to be the environment at La Boug for the rest of our week. We had chosen the See Sea cottage for the two of us so we could each have our room, bathroom and balcony and it was 100% worth it! The cottage was immaculately clean, well equipped with a \"foodie-grade\" efficient kitchen, a large living room, two large bedrooms (one with a sea view and one with a garden view), a small but refreshing pool, plenty of beach towels, a grill, picnic table, etc. We treasured the privacy and \"homey-ness\" of having our own place while also being able to quickly access the resort with its crystal-clear Infinity pool, restaurant, and .... oh.... the BEACH! Words cannot describe the soft pink sand, turquoise waters, and quiet beauty of La Boug's private beach: of all the beaches we visited, it remained the BEST!

I would strongly caution anyone considering this resort. During my stay, other guests were able to charge food and drinks to my account — even though I always signed for every legitimate transaction myself. The disputed charges did not have my signature, yet I still received the bill not once, but twice.

An absolute slice of paradise with a pristine pink sand beach! I knew from the pictures this was going to be a nice stay, but those pictures don’t quite do justice as to just how beautiful this property is. Feels very private, yet can also get lively during the evening time with their wonderful restaurant and bar next to the infinity pool, with tables overlooking the turquoise water (I recommend the Conch Fritters & Blue Hole drink). The rooms are very clean and well maintained with great air conditioning. The general manager could not be more friendly and accommodating. I felt like I was living in luxury all while in an isolated slice of paradise. Oh and did I mention that pink sand beach with hardly anyone to be seen that stretches for well over a mile!? The sunrises and sunset. It was like living in a postcard or a Corona commercial. Will most definitely be back…

Absolutely a wonderful relaxed Experiance. Entire staff was very friendly. I had the best massage I have ever had in my life and I have had many many all over . The beach is fantastic, you feel you're on a deserted island. I 100% would go back. I have to say we dined out everywhere but the food was fabulous at their restaurant. The fish tacos were outstanding.

The GM, Que Thompson was simply amazing. She was warm, friendly, very helpful, professional, efficient and went over and above to make us feel at home. And the Manager (Sonam) and the rest of the staff were amazing too. With only 1 restaurant on the property, and for a 5 night stay, the menu got tiring. And not many other restaurants close by. Otherwise a great experience at La Boug.

La Bougainvillea was an excellent choice for my fiance and me to enjoy my birthday. It is centrally located on the island, which worked great for us because we have family in the South and spent time there as well as in the North.

The grounds are secluded and private. We drove up a hill to reach the property. We were surprised to see an EV charging station on-site; immediate kudos for that, as we believe electric vehicles on the island are the future.

Anyway, the lobby area is quaint and quiet. We were greeted by Q, who is a wonderful lady. She is the general manager, and she made us feel welcome immediately. She is very warm and personable.

The infinity pool is beautiful, the bar and restaurant are beachfront, and the service was great.

We stayed in an ocean-view room, which was very romantic. It is a room where couples can connect. The shower is in the room but in a very aesthetically pleasing position. There's no TV in this room, but watching your partner shower can be entertaining and interactive enough. :)

My favorite experience by far was the beach. The sand was soft and untouched, the water was so blue and beautiful, and we had the beach to ourselves for hours. If you want to feel like you're on a secluded island for real, then this is the place for you. The peace and serenity was unmatched.

The food was delicious, too. It was a tad expensive, like $34 for a burger, BUT it was tasty and fresh.

Me and my husband had an incredible time. I also want to preface this review that we both also work in the hospitality/tourism industry. While we loved the property, the restaurant, the beach, the location, and the massage the staff was the absolute best and were the ones that brought all together. This team took pride in their work, were kind and just crushed the guest service piece. Huge shout outs to the leadership team, the front desk, the F&B team, the spa
Team, housekeeping and maintenance. This people were awesome and made the trip!

The service and facilities were not at all what one should receive for the cost paid. Our family had two adjacent rooms and we both intermittently ran out of hot water: apparently there was only one small hot water tank for the two rooms. Our smart locks to access our remove contained easily figured out combinations. We had to often remind room service to renew all bath and hand towels, and after the first day they did not replenish coffee cups or pods. Recreational facilities such as kayaks and stand up paddle board were damaged and in very poor condition. The restaurant food and room bedding, etc. were quite acceptable, however overall this was poor value for your money. I would not recommend.

Facilities so beautiful, peaceful and impeccably clean. staff were all amazing... Terese, JoJo, Helena, Martin, Justin... all top notch.. friendly, helpful and professional! We had one little issue that our bathroom window wouldnt open, and it was fixed in an instant after asking. It was quiet as we were in early November, but would be such a beautiful place to celebrate a wedding, special occasion or just to get away Gorgeous beach that goes on forever and beautiful pink sunsets. We loved our stay at this little treasure!!

Pure Bliss!!! When asked how was my vacation and stay at La Bouganvilla. The property, the staff and service from checkin by Tyler first impression was calm and easy going...we felt right at home. A few staff members that deserve accolade indeed are Tyler, Justin , Eugene,Precious and Mo. Each of these staff members provided something unique ,and a personal touch of hospitality that made my birthday getaway wonderful. The food, the beach, the room...WELL DONE Bouganvilla!!!

We loved our stay at La Bougainvillea Hotel. Perfect accommodations. The staff is lovely and friendly. We had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious. We rented a car and tried other restaurants. We were consistently impressed with the delicious specials and cuisine right there on the property. And ... the beach. We basically had a perfect oasis to ourselves for a week. Absolutely perfect and beautiful. We'll be back.

This resort was wonderful and worth the extra travel to get there! We loved that it was so private and small. We were there in the off season and were lucky enough to have only 1 other couple there for a majority of the time. The food and drinks were delicious with great selection. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was incredible, from being greeted by Lewis and all of the recommendations that he gave us for while we were on the island to all of the wonderful service given to us by Ziggy during our meals. The resort was beautiful with lots of place to lounge and the beach and pool were also fantastic.

This location is amazing! The hotwl is absolutely gorgeous and the view is second to none. The beach is as good as you can get, barely makes it worth leaving the place for any other attraction on the island. It's only a few minutes drive from town and other restaurants, but the one on site is great. Staff was super nice and rooms, pool and amenities were just perfect!

The property is pretty and secluded. Food and beverage staff are friendly and helpful. Massage on beach was great. Biggest issue is that this property has no generator! We had no power and water (for nearly 2 days) and no Wi-Fi for nearly 4 days. Up the street other places were working fine that had planned appropriately. Property needs a generator and a sense of urgency / concern for this. Could not contact family members unless we left the property.

This property is as beautiful as the pictures show. My only gripe would be the cost of food and beverages.
Otherwise, the property delivers a relaxing, private getaway. Perfect for honeymooners.

Our stay here was amazing. The beach and water is some of the prettiest I’ve seen. The hotel is beautiful. The staff was amazing, especially Kia, Christopher, Jo Jo and Chris. The lady chef was fantastic. The General manager, Jillian and the concierge Tannile (not sure of spelling) made sure we were well taken care of. Can’t wait to go back.

Paradise all to ourselves!

We spent a perfect week at La Bougainvillea. The staff was extremely attentive and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Even with a tropical storm coming, they made sure we were comfortable and safe.

The beach is pure perfection. Not another person in sight. We had miles and miles of turquoise waters all to ourselves. The pool is the perfect way to end the day, along with a cold cocktail from the bar.

The Boathouse was a lovely villa with a full kitchen just a few steps away from the beach.

Highly recommend!
