The back of the hotel had a beautiful sitting area, pool, and oversized chess game. The lobby was welcoming and clean. For some reason, the ceiling was missing in the hallways exposing wires and beams. The room was ok. The fridge was not cold. There were some stains in the tub.

I feel I didn’t get enough value out of my stay since I could not eat the breakfast since it started at 6:30 am and I had to leave at 6:15 am. I don’t understand why the breakfast can’t be serve earlier travelers . Totally dissatisfied and disappointed.

El TV de el cuarto no prendía y llame más de 7 veces en la noche y nadie me contestó, al día siguiente en media mañana el agente de FD fue conmigo a la habitación y me ayudó a encenderlo. Ya luego en la noche nuevamente no se conectaba el TV. La ducha o sea la bañera estaba manchada de marrón como de moho y el paño antideslizante estaba despegado por los lados.. entiendo que no es un hotel nuevo pero olía la habitación a humedad.. cuando saque la sábana para arroparme, habia pelo que no era de nadie pues fue la primera noche un poco desagradable para mi gusto pero pude resolver mi necesidad

I checked in and on the way to the room, there were exposed wiring and pipes because there was no ceiling in the entire hallway.
The room & bathroom were kind of dingy and seemed banged up.
We did NOT end up staying there more than 5 minutes. We checked back out and went to a different hotel.
When Expedia called the hotel, they refused to give a refund.

Basic hotel that could use more updates. Our bathroom definitely needs redone. Seen mild in the fan, and soft spot in the wall and when we had a downpour of rain, it was dripping down the wall from the soft spot on bathroom wall. Bathtub looked like it was very very old. No hand towels, was told they were out of stock. The coffee available at breakfast was definitely watered down. It served our basic needs but for the price it leaves a lot to be desired!

I stayed there to go see a World Cup soccer Game in philly. the staff was very accommodating. the rooms were being renovated yet the facilities were very clean and well kept ( so much in fact that i had to ask them to use less cleaning liquids to reduce the scent as it triggered my daughters allergies - and they went and set me up in a new room.) overall a very nice hotel in a quiet area that is very well priced. - i am not a paid reviewer.

The rooms and the common areas were clean and modern. The bathtub had a liner in it that was somewhat stained. The fan in the bathroom had a loud vibrating sound when you turned it on. Otherwise a great place for the price. The breakfast was ok, standard fare but they could do more to make it better. Eggs and sausages were premade pucks so not great and there were no toppings for the waffles other than syrup. Only muffins as pastries and they did not make it clear where the breakfast area was so everyone had to ask.

The hotel was in disrepair. Tileless ceilings, pooly patched walls, and unfresh smell. The bathroom in our room, 104, was in need of some repairs and bath tub/shower insert replacement. The shower was probably clean but looked filthy as did the walls and ceiling. The light fixture did not have a cover and there was a hole in the wall by the kleenex dispenser.

This is a very old hotel that used to be something else. Everything was clean except the carpet which was old and dingy. Fixtures were old but everything worked. Bed was clean and firm. Best thing was breakfast. For 1 night it was ok but will not stay again.’

The location was undergoing renovations, ceilings were open and the parking lot was being resurfaced. There was an odd smell and the rooms were fairly outdated, with stains and mold in areas. The breakfast was a disaster, the waffle irons were on but no mix, and the juice dispenser was empty. There was no butter for the toast and no milk for cereal. When I asked the teen in the kitchen room, he simply said no. That was the end. He opened the juice dispenser showing the empty spots and said they were out of mix and other things. I get its a 2 star motel, but it was a disappointment.

The location is great, very safe and withing good distances for area spots. The breakfast was very good, available and clean. The pool was closed. The room needs an update, tub height entering the shower was difficult to clear for some in the group. The water pressure was not good at all and in my opinion the pillows were insufficient. Value for the price was a bit low in my opinion.

The room was a standard room with two double beds (with firm mattresses) and microwave/refrigerator/one sink bathroom. The staff were courteous and professional and tried to be helpful. The room seemed very clean but had an odd smell whenever we returned; it was a room that allowed pets, and my husband thought it smelled like a wet dog. Breakfast was adequate, but the same thing every morning (flattened circular egg concoction, sausage patties, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, apples, yogurt, toast or muffins).
Housekeeping was inadequate. Although there were three adults in the room, I had to chase down a third towel every time the towels were changed. Often no bath mat was available, and the tile floor was slippery when wet. The trash was not emptied daily —one frustrated guest eventually put his overflowing trash can and wet towel in the hallway by his door. The tub seemed clean but had rust/marks that made me feel like it wasn’t kept up.
We were disappointed because the hotel got very good reviews. It was adequate but nothing more.

This stay falls just a touch short of acceptable.
- Biggest issue was water quality— it was metallic and left a strange smell.
- From there, the towels weren’t of quality and would leave residue (maybe related to it being washed in this water).
- Breakfast was acceptable, but the floors and seating area were beyond sticky and unkept.

The pictures were very misleading. The hotel is awful. The carpet was sticky when walking on it barefoot. The hallways on the first floor had no ceilings. The staff was not helpful at all and scolded us and our children for everything. I leaned against a table and from across the lobby the staff yelled at me to sit on a chair. My son and his teammates were talking and laughing in the hallway and got yelled at, another hotel guest said she witnessed it all and they weren’t doing anything wrong, they were just talking and laughing. My son said the front desk guy chased him through the hotel. My sisters toilet was clogged when they got there and they called 3 times and it took til the next day and all they did was drop off a plunger for them to clean it. The rooms had awful smells. I would never recommend anyone staying here. We travel about 20 weekends a year for the last 14 years for our kids’ sports and this has to be one of the worst stays I have ever had.

Super Awesome Staff here there very friendly and very helpful as well. The room was super clean and very comfortable as well and the prices are average and there is plenty of parking spots available. Also there is a laundry room and the military base is near by. They also have a pool for swimming 🏊‍♂️ 🏊‍♀️. 6 flags is about twenty minutes away from here.

There was blood on the wall in our room, it smelled like a dog kennel and the toilet was clogged when we checked in. They said they would bring a plunger right away, we didn’t get one until 12 hours later after calling three more times. The front desk staff were very rude. I’ve stayed in some nice Best Westerns, this was not one of them. I would never stay here again and not recommend it to anyone else.

I enjoy the stay very much. The first impression I had is the front area. The atmosphere make it feel like home with the pleasant scent. It would be great if we can have the same scent in the guest rooms while it’s smell like moist dew in mine. One more thing is AC does not change the temp very well even the control panel was set.

We stayed 3 nights to take care of some business in the Ocean county area. Looks like a hotel in a strip mall. Shocked that Best Western lets them use their branding. dirty rug in room because there is only one chair and no place to set and eat a meal. flimsy, very flimsy pillows, the tub was disgusting with mold and poor old sealing. Very noisy next door neighbor. thin walls. Breakfast was lame. 2 Keurig machines which took forever to make a cup of coffee with the number of guests present. The first floor corridor was missing all the ceiling tiles. Bad impression. Oh - and leaving a $100 deposit to make sure we don't trash the room or steal anything? - not classy. Would love to upload pictures.

I think this is a review that is not going to be having anything to do on the property itself..that was all good. The staff, breakfast. The room, that's all fine..

What I did not care for is having my payment for the room to be taken out of my bank account a day early when I said I would pay when get to the location.. and the one that's really sore on us is as soon as we arrived I was told there was $100 the security deposit.. both these things were not said anywhere in the hotel or Room description when I booked.. my roommate was quite annoyed.. luckily he's good with his money and can cover these kind of things but that didn't make him happy nor did it make me happy.. because we didn't know anything about that.. yes he's getting the money back but it would have been nice if they would have said something about that up front in the hotel description and it's because of these two things we are probably not going to book here again.. if it wasn't for those two things we wouldn't have an issue with this property..

The parking was coinvent.
After checking in as we were going to find our room we couldn't help but notice some ceiling panels were missing. The wiring was exposed in this part of the corridor.
The room was pleasant as we entered. Much of the bathroom hardware was old and flimsy but worked. Plenty of hot water. The tub was a challenge. Weird set up getting in our out to shower.
The bugs were the worst. In the early morning hours my wife while using the bathroom notices bugs scouring on the floor. In the morning. I saw a roach by the microwave on the counter.
We packed up and went to check out.
I told the desk manager of the experience and have a photo.
We were booked for two nights.
Staff asked if we would like to switch rooms but we declined.
We were only charged for one night. Staff was helpful
We can't review the breakfast we left, could you?

The rooms had stains all over the carpets. The tv didn’t work, and the refrigerator didn’t keep items very cold. We reported it to the staff as we were checking out and was basically told that it was our fault the tv didn’t work and we should have came downstairs to report it, but at 11pm at night the last thing I want to do is report a broken tv, especially after driving all day. The site also advertised breakfast in the morning, but both mornings when we checked there was nothing out.

I read some of the older reviews, and I was kind of worried. Our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean, beds were comfortable with clean linens, no signs of bugs or mold, or any of the other things reported from other reviewers. I’m sure the hotel has done some upgrades since those folks stayed. The shower was just OK but workable. Staff was very friendly. Plenty of parking. I would stay there again.

The staff was amazing & the breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast. The room met expectations for the price. They had the pull up car port blacked off for some reason so we had to carry all of our bags to the parking lot in freezing temperatures instead of pulling the car up to the front and unpacking which made for a hard time. The cleaning crew were very accommodating for things that we needed during the stay but overall I think the place could have been more clean. The floors were dirty, the sheets had stains on them, the bathroom smelled like stale cigarettes & you can just tell that things havnt been wiped down and cleaned properly. The top of the ice bucket was filthy. The room did have one of the best refrigerators I’ve ever had in a hotel. It kept our drinks very cold & the lady at the front desk was very nice & accommodating when the temperature dropped to single digits she brought us some extra blankets & made sure the thermostat was working properly. I think some mopping & upholstery cleaning in the main lobby & some carpet scrubbing & proper cleaning would really set this hotel to the next level. I’m a very clean person & it wasn’t bad enough that I felt I could stay there but I wished that I could have trained the cleaning staff bexusee this place has so much potential for the price. We were there for a retirement ceremony on base and it was the best option we had that was close by.

The hotel was neglected. The ceiling in the hallway was taken down. You could hear the other guest in the other rooms. The sheets, blankets and shower curtain stained. The bathroom needs a serious deep cleaning. Tub stains. Found a live cockroach the morning of check out. Stayed here for my son’s travel football game. Never again.

The parking lot is adequate. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy and the linens smell fresh. It's quiet, the staff is helpful and friendly. Very reasonably priced. Close to Six Flags. We have stayed multiple times and it's always been very pleasant.
