The place was not very clean, as we found a ant problem, the bathroom floor was dirty especially in the cornors, I did take a video of the room to be safe that I was not charge extra on my visa, referring to damage fees.

Le motel est situé tous prés de granby a peux prés 3 minutes, motel propre, tranquille pas de bruits, la chambre est propre avec son propre stationnement devant la porte de devant, la porte de derriere ouvre directement su la piscine externe. Le personnel sont souriant et trés serviable et gentils. le decore interne de la chambre comme le toit est en boit ca donne un sentiment de chaleur et vacance.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Motel Bonsoir. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The location is convenient with easy parking, which is a big plus. While there’s room for a few small improvements, overall it was a good experience and great value for the price. I would recommend it and would stay again.

The room did not have coffee, and there was not even a phone to call for some. The picture in the frame was falling apart and looking quite shabby. There wasn’t a window that could be opened, and the back door, which was fitted with a screen, was too old to budge. To top it off, the handle on the back door was broken. For entertainment, we could hear the family next door…

C’est un bel endroit pour s’arrêter pour une nuit. Très propre. La piscine est très propre aussi. C’est certain que ca devra être rénové bientôt, mais c’est quand même propre et agréable. Le seul point négatif c’est que nous étions à la chambre 20 et juste à côté il y avait la « laundry room » et nous avons entendu le bruit toute la nuit.

It's a family run motel. Very friendly, helpful and pleasant family. The room was clean and we appreciated that they came in every day to make the beds, change towels and take out the garbage. Its a good place to go to after a long day at the zoo. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Terrible place that needed major updates 20 years ago. Pictures are lis-representative: place is old and rundown. Association stickers and plaques are all waaaaaay out of date. Counter guy does not understand French or English very well which slows down the registration process immensely. Don't do it, look for something else...

I’ve been there with my family,so basically it is two adults and two young kids. I was impressed by the cleanliness, well-maintained room ,playground and outdoor patio ,the pool which has the fence around it. Each room has two entries: one the back door and one from the pool. A lot of space for kids to run,play with ball. Everything is in a very good condition and it is clean (even under the beds :) ) The room has a fridge and a microwave and at the reception there is a coffee machine where you can make your own coffee and it costs just 1.5$. Also you can buy some snacks there. At the playground there is a separated area for a barbecue with all the equipment needed. It was very quiet in the evening and in the morning.Yes,the walls are thin and you can hear the people in the next room if they speak louder or if a child cries ,but people there are very respectable and nobody bothers each other. We will definitely come back !

The proprietor was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and well lit. Nice quilts on the bed.

The motel is in a U-shape around a small pool. There was a back door with a screen that looked out back. There were outdoor chairs near both the front and back door.

Two things I did not like. The curtains were very thin and did not block out the morning light - the sun comes up very early in early June. And, the water pressure in the shower was very poor.

It did look like a lot of construction workers stay here.

Le motel est un peu vieillot, mais c'était correct pour une nuit! Il y a quelques petites choses qui auraient besoin d'un peu d'amour dans notre chambre (entre autres, on a trouvé que la lumière de la salle de bain n'était pas assez lumineuse et que la ventilation de la salle de bain était trop forte)... mais overall, c'était propre et convenable pour un arrêt rapide sur la route. Il faut juste garder en tête que c'est un motel, et que les chambres ne semblent pas avoir été rénovées récemment. Le proprio était sympathique.

I liked the responsiveness of the staff and their availability. The air wasn't on and way above my reach and someone came from the office and turned it on.
I would have liked to had a cool room to move into when I arrived, but appreciated the fix.
The place was clean--very BARE-Minimum for comfort. I expected more and was disappointed.

J'aime ce motel, j'y ai séjourné à maintes reprises au fil du temps. Le rapport qualité/prix est respectable, la chambre assez confortable et en famille, il y a des espaces verts et une piscine chauffée qui rend le séjour agréable. Cependant, cette fois-ci, un peu plus déçu. Problème de fourmis dans notre chambre et la poignée de porte quasi décapitée.

Room was spacious. Walls are thin. Had knocking and slamming on the walls beside us.
Stayed here for the weekend for F1. 50 min from the island. For the price compared to other hotels in montreal ......it was a steal.

We booked the \"romantic room\". Many deficiencies: no curtains to cover window, just sheers. No plastic or proper shower curtain, just a decorative one with holes... the floor was completely wet. No bathroom fan. Corroded hair dryer plug. Found hair on bathroom floor and in between bed sheets. Many light bulbs burnt out or light switches not working. Security chain on door incorrectly installed. Other door with no security chain. Towels were very old and rough and small. Decor from 1980's with old car cassette tape deck near bed. Mirrors covering half of room. Only good thing, mini fridge worked. Did not even try hot tub in room.

Motel Bonsoir provided us with an excellent stay and experience. While it isn't a fancy all inclusive resort, it knows this, and commits to providing a cozy stay that you'll never forget. You'll feel like you're going back in time here, with great 80s decor and a cedar walls that provide a nostalgic aroma. Staff were excellent and provided a warm welcome. Can't wait to come back in the summer and lounge by their wonderful pool. Don't overlook Motel Bonsoir!

The staff were friendly but having paid Expedia $25 for an extra (5th person) in the room I then had to pay $25 tax on arrival for the extra bed. The extra bed had clean bedding but was twisted such that it rocked when my son was in it. The property was nicely lit with picnic benches available but the room, although clean, was tired with the bathroom door sticking such that users couldn’t get out without help and we were unable to lock the door to the room from the outside and struggled to open it from the inside.

The room was not clean, bathroom was real dirty, condom under the bed, floors were dirty hair everywhere, it was very noisy party in room beside mine until 4 am, banging on the wall, not enough blankets, we froze all night as we had to keep the fan (air conditioning) on to block the noise from the room beside ours to tey to get some sleep... didn't work. It was the worst experience i ever had. Will never go there again and will not be recommending that motel to anyone I know. Can't believe i paid over $200 for this

It is an old cottage motel so very dated but it was a good place to rest for a night. It has TV, internet, small fridge and microwave so possible to stay a few days with kids in summer. They loved the pool. Given it is a cottage motel it isn’t a surprise to see mini ants in the room but aside from that the beds were comfortable with clean linens.

OK for one night stopover

The Motel shows its age unfortunately! The owner and staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The room we booked was the \"Comfort suite\", this was described as a large room with hardwood flooring and jetted tub. The small room #25 was clean despite the thorn window shade, courtyard door that was left partially opened. A good shoulder nudge was needed to securely close it. Air condition was off and heat turned on to 24C when the outside temperature was 28C with a humidex of 32. It took the very noisy overhead air conditioner the whole night to cool the room to 21C (set at 20c). Also the location of the air conditioner over the entrance doors ensured you had a nice little pool of water to walk over. The bathroom was clean but so tiny that they actually carved a notch out of the counter to fit the toiled loosely on the floor so your back was resting nicely on the counter ledge. Others in our party booked the standard /less costly rooms # 2 and 3 and they had larger bathrooms (no carved out counter!) and a properly functioning air conditioner. But no hardwood floor they had a more recent floating floor. So my suggestion do not opt for the more expensive \"Comfort suite\". The website pictures are from a much earlier time and show the property at its best. This is family run Motel that is friendly and helpful. It is in need of some TLC. **The optional American breakfast for 6$/person was homemade and quite good (fresh egg, choice of meat, fruit, cheese, toast and beverage).**

I found the room very nice particularly the bed and the wood clad ceiling. The room was nice and tidy with a fridge and microwave included.
Chairs were also outside the room to use.
Breakfast could be ordered on check in for the next morning which I found convenient and it was good too. Thank you.
The negative was the flourescent bulb in the bathroom was not working and this is a quick exchange to fix.
Also, as a suggestion, please purchase a higher grade of soap in the individual packages as it does not lather very well.

Our first night was very quiet. I think only 2 or 3 patrons where there. We had 2 lights in the room that did not work. We where happy to find a microwave and fridge in the room. On our second night the room next to ours was occupied and the man in it was up most of the night. He was not loud but every time he walked around we could here it echoing in our room even over a white noise generator we had running in our room. The sound proofing between the rooms is very poor and the floors are hollow and noisy. With the motel being so empty I could not understand why guests where put adjacent to each other. I would not stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean, and the AC worked great! The extra back door leading to the pool is awesome! The pool was nice and warm and very clean! The property was very quiet and the hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. We will definitely stay here again. It was a great place to stay when visiting the zoo, as it is only a few min away.
