The Inn is pretty basic--old-fashioned, drab decor with decent bed, barely-ok pillows and semi-adequate drapes. But it has a refrigerator/freezer and microwave, and the staff is helpful. Biggest problem is for couples needing to use the bathroom during the night; the bathroom light is outside the bathroom door, sending bright light into the eyes of person still in bed, AND the sliding bathroom door is noisy.

Shower had no water pressure.
Checking in, night guy not very friendly at all.
I walked into the room it was 93 degrees in the room.....I had to turn the AC on and wait to cool it down before moving in.
I'm right in the middle.....I've stayed in better rooms in this place. It served the purpose of what I needed. I will stay there again but not in Room 137.

I don’t know where to start. At first glance it looks alright. No glaring issues. Basic accommodations. Got checked in, dropped off luggage and headed out to a concert. Upon return, I discovered the sheets appeared dirty, but I think were just stained. The WiFi kept disconnecting and the directv had nothing but porn options and one channel with forensic files. If I could’ve been refunded I would have left. Unfortunately, I sucked it up and stayed. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Not bad for the price paid. Definitely dated and rooms a bit grungy, but not the worst. In a pinch, and need to stay overnight in a place in the area for a decent weekday price you could do worse. Here - there is a mini fridge, rooms are somewhat clean, AC worked, tv worked - and there was a desk/table in the room in which I stayed...but no chair.

One oddity here is despite the strong anti-smoker sentiment you will usually find in NJ, this place has smoking rooms available.

Do NOT stay here. There was dried blood and stains in the pillows and bedding, and small hairs and stains on the towels.
Everything was just a bit dirty- the drawers had dirt and grime, the lamp had black stuff on the bottom, and the shower was stained.
The night clerk lectured me about checking in late even though I called before and was told no problem.

The room was disgusting. It was mold in the shower, the blow dryer didn’t work, shades were broken, the bed was terribly uncomfortable, and there were stains on the sheets.
There were also flies in the room.
The photos on the website were extremely deceiving

Very limited breakfast choices although it is free. Bathroom was dirty, towels looked used, and bed sheets had some stains. WiFi did not work well. Parking lot entrance was confusing, there should a do not enter sign on the first entrance since the arrows on the road indicate one way. Price is decent for one night stay.

I do not recommend this place due to cleanliness issues. The sheets were not changed—it looked like they had merely made the bed. Furthermore, the television was not working, and the bathtub was dirty. Do not let the low price be your deciding factor when booking a hotel; pay the going rate—even if it is a bit expensive—and be sure to check the reviews and star ratings. The guy who checked me is was friendly and accommodating. However, while the room was clean it is in dire need of repairs. I am not a stranger to budget motels but this place was particularly rundown. The comforter is exposed with just one sheet beneath, and the room smelled like a wet dog (I suspect that its the mattress or the comforter). I was only there for one night, and didn't bother asking to move to a different room since I doubt that any of the other ones would be better. If I can recommend improvements to the owners, it would be to invest some money into some basic repairs, even just small things like replacing the rusty shower racks (these could be bought for cheap at Walmart), aging, ripped and deteriorating shower curtains (also cheap at Walmart), and putting an additional sheet over the comforter like most hotels do. Fixing torn wallpaper and adjusting the headboards so they're not a foot above the mattress would make the room look much nicer as it would hide the weird railings that are holding it up the headboard.

I will not stay here again. The chain lock on the door was broken, and no one was available to repair it. The television also did not work. A gentleman from the front desk came to assist, but he was unable to fix the issue. We were then informed that the only person who could repair it was at a party and would not be available until 11:00 p.m.

The shower head barely produced any water, making it nearly impossible to shower comfortably. In addition, the refrigerator froze all of our food. We requested a different room, but the only available option was a smoking room.

The reception area was unbearably hot. When I asked whether the air conditioning was broken, I was told that the owner does not allow staff to turn on the air conditioning in the lobby in order to save money.

The beds, however, were comfortable, and the front desk staff were polite and friendly.

It is a few miles from a few different beach towns. I am definitely staying again. I may even go back and book again tonight after I leave the beach.

Perfect location near stores and friendly, welcoming staff at check-in. If you book with the understanding that this is a basic motel for a good price at the Jersey shore, then you will be happy. Don't book expecting a 5-star hotel. The king-size bed was comfortable and clean, with ample closet space and a basic bathroom. This was all we needed for a one-night visit with family.

The bathroom door had dark stains all along the edge, where people had held the door. The windows were dirty. I decided not to spend the night and checked out the same day. I did not use the room.

I honestly would encourage people to stay elsewhere. The towels were dirty and stained, the first room they gave us had a bathroom toilet that had mold in it and clearly had not been used or cleaned in months, and the shower head was detached and inside the tub and the room just had a horrible smell. The second room (given after I showed pictures of the first room) was cleaner and had no smell but the beds were very strange and on top of aluminum sided like stands so when u moved on the bed (I am petite and weigh 130) it made metallic ripple noises. I would never stay here again.

This was acceptable for having a roof over our heads, heat and a hot shower. Reasonably comfortable clean beds, and nearby coffee and food places. They also got our reservations correct. Other than that, not much to write home about. The room itself was shabby with rusted bathroom fixtures, lightbulb out, dated carpeting and peeling/cracked walls. When we got there the bathroom window was open in middle of winter and there was barely any toilet paper. We didn’t use the pool (winter). They did have a snowplow pretty quickly after some snow so they keep up the grounds. For this level of lodging I wouldn’t have expected to pay more than $85 a night, but the area was expensive.

Front desk gentleman was amazing.

However, This place was really horrifying to walk into---carpets FILTHY, ripped, old. A stench of cigarettes and must/mold in the room. Bugs and hair on bathroom, stained linens. It looked like a motel you would rent by the hour, that might be attached to a porn shop. The front desk gentleman did his best to try to offer a different room, but the same situation was there as well.

We always look for places with continental breakfast.. unfortunately their continental breakfast consisted of.. coffee orange juice milk cereal. And a choice of five bagels in total and they did offer butter or butter. . That's it folks. So if you want continental breakfast this is not the place for you. When I say the choice of five bagels I mean they had five bagels of their choice for the whole property. Other than that a good place to stay.

Room cleanliness was sub-par. One of the comforters had a dirty brown/yellowy patch near the foot of the bed, and both white beds had non-white lint on them. We found receipts and paper trash in a corner under the \"dressing table\".

The room itself was fine, if a little weird. The \"dressing table\" is a large recessed nook in the wall that looked like it used to be a closet, but now has a mirror, counter, and chair. The tub/shower faucet takes about 2 minutes to figure out. There are separate controls for flow, temperature, and directing the water through the shower vs. the tub spout, and they are not obvious.

The covers were extremely thin, causing me to get out of bed and turn the thermostat up 1 degree about three times, which also caused the room to become uncomfortably warm and humid in the wee hours of the morning. My husband on the other hand said he got a great night's sleep, so YMMV.

\"Breakfast\" was extremely weak as well. A few bagels from a package, no cream cheese or jelly that I could find, no hot water dispenser (if you drink tea, go fill a cup from the bathroom and microwave it), and only three choices of cereal, two of which were sugary garbage. Nothing else. At least there was real, whole milk, not \"creamer\" made of who knows what.

Overall uneventful but unimpressive stay. Definitely doesn't warrant the 8.0 rating seen on Expedia IMO.

I paid for 3 nights and ended up only staying for 1. The first night I couldn't check in because I had to take my dad to the emergency room. They made no effort to refund any of my money for that night. There are no phones in the room - so when the AC wasn't working, I had to walk through the dark parking lot in the middle of the night. The front desk clerk was a smart ass to me about the lack of phones and how to work the AC unit. The next morning, my shower ran out of hot water. I was so sick of this room that I didn't bother to stay for the 3rd night. I would never stay here again!

Also, charged me a credit card fee of 4% if I didn't pay cash (who pays cash for hotel stays) - in the process of getting refund from Expedia since that is not what was contracted with the booking. Lastly, booked two rooms and needed to check in 1 hour earlier as we had a wedding to change for. Wanted to charge me $30 extra even though half the hotel was empty and rooms already prepared (had to change in car).

I arrived at the motel a little early and they wanted to charge me $30.00 for an early check-in 2pm instead of 3 pm. I needed to get changed to go to a wedding. I told them that I never heard of that and they wound up waiving the fee after a disagreement. Thats enough to sour me.

Overall property was ok except that several of the pillow covers, though washed were stained. After they were replaced, 2 of the 4 new ones were also stained.

Biggest issue other than the cleanliness was the expedia price was supposed to include all taxes and fees but they forced us to pay an additional 4% at the desk

Room was not cleaned, bugs everywhere, window screen was ripped, dead bugs on sink and in tub, air conditioner was full of dust, there was duct tape used on the door connecting to the other rooms to secure it and a chair propped up against it as if for \"extra security.\" There was also duct tape used to secure front window. Door lock was also broken. Horrible conditions at this place, pictures online make it seem okay to stay in but it is VERY MISLEADING. Would avoid at all costs.

Bed was horrible! Its like you put a sheet over wood!!!!!! Air conditioning kept going out. The “ketchup size” combined shampoo and conditioner is unsatisfactory. During check in, the staff was talking on his personal phone. Will NEVER come here again!!!

The best motel in the area by a long shot. Huge comfy king bed, great air conditioning, great room service, and much more. I am a dj who works down the shore every weekend during summer and they always take the best care of me and give me a great rate as well for being a loyal customer which is very appreciated. 10/10
