Good spread of breakfast. Clean. Nice. By lots of shopping and places to eat. My only issue was my mother in law needed a handicap room that I originally booked and we didn’t get that so bathing her was a challenge and no high toilet for her to use was hard for her to get low without assistance

The pool was green and gross which was a let down as we were looking forward to an evening swim and had to pass on the green water. Thought about breaking out my fishing gear and fishing in the pool it was so green. Breakfast was great, staff was professional and we will stay there again.

The hotel room was nice. Beds were very comfortable. I love how we had 2 double beds and a sofa bed so my 2 kids had there own beds instead of sharing. We loved the breakfast that was provided each morning. My son really loved the waffles. When we return, we would stay there again. Only thing I would suggest is either new mattresses or ways clean stains off the side of the mattress. That was a little unsettling to look at.

We had never hear of Windmill Suites and what an incredible surprise, in the town of Surprise! :) The pool was huge and beautiful. Loved the hot tub!! Breakfast was great! Everything so modern and clean. The room was huge. The staff so friendly!!! EXCELLENT!!!

Loved the Windmill suites. There were three of us and we had a first floor room with an outdoor patio facing the pool. Our room was clean. The beds comfortable. The staff friendly. The breakfast adequate. Eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage, yogurt. Will definitely stay again. Our only complaint is that the handicapped lifts in the pool and hot tub were non operational. Being older women, we use assist in and out of the pool. We did use the pool one day, but it’s too hard to get out without the lift. We did stay 3 nights.
The pool was cleaned twice daily. Lots of debris from trees blew into the pool. The landscaping is very pretty, but needs to be cut back some. Overall it was a great stay. Cookies and spokes at the front desk in the evening, but you usually needed to ask. Kept others from digging around in the cookies. Also coffee and fresh ice water in lobby. Just a lovely stay.

The outside of the building is unimpressive.The inside looks much nicer and the room looked nice. However, there were terrible stains on the armchair in the room. And the sliding door to the bedroom did not open or close. The toilet took 4 flushes to actually flush

We reported it to the front desk and they said that they would deal with it and let us know. But nobody ever did, and that person was there all night. Also, the first night I went to walk my dogs and there was a giant rat trapped between the exterior doors and the key card door to get into wing, C. It was jumping around trying to get out of the doors and I had to let the rat out so that I could get out.
After having no response from the front desk over the person taking pictures of us unloading, I decided not to even mention the rat or any of the other issues. Also, there were mountains of dog poop around the dog area.
The housekeeping service was good.However, we had put up the do not disturb sign on our door requesting that we did not want housekeeping service, and they came in and cleaned up anyway.

Everything was excellent. Our room was roomy, clean, the bed comfortable, the shower was wonderful. The staff, from the front desk, food servers, housekeepers were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was full service and delicious. The hot tub was very nice and sitting out by the pool. I would have given Windmill a 5 except the pool needed to be cleaned so we did not swim in it. It was very disappointing. I let the front desk know that it had algae and needed cleaning. They started taking care of it but it took 6 days before they drained it. I hope that future customers are able to have a wonderful time by the pool. I will definitely stay there again and really did enjoy my stay.

My stay was 9/10. The location is convenient cos of proximity to a bunch of stores and restaurants. The website photos look great but in reality all of the room furniture was old and felt very worn. I sat on the couch and the cushion sunk in. However the bed was great!

This is a convenient and nice place to stay when coming to the Surprise area. I visit my mother off and on and always stay there because it's spacious, convenient and reasonably priced. The staff is always nice. I have to add an anecdote here. The only elevator broke when I was visiting this time. It was fixed almost immediately. That's what I call maintaining a property. Can't recommend this place enough, especially if you're visiting someone in Peoria or Sun City. It costs a fortune to stay within their city limits.

besides the breakfast, we love this hotel. Everything was great. The only thing I complain about is the breakfast. A lot of the food was microwave. They actually microwaved it in front of us with the eggs and the sausage. The hashbrowns were undercooked so we specifically booked the hotel with breakfast to be accommodating to us, but we didn’t end up eating breakfast after the first day because it was just poor quality breakfast.

The entire stay was very enjoyable and we will plan to return. My only negative is that the first impression was pretty concerning when we saw the condition of the hallway carpeting. It was very, very old and worn. The rooms were fine though. The young lady serving breakfast did wonderful job!

Went out for Spring Training and spent 2 nights at this hotel. The rooms are very clean, their set up is of a small single apartments which was super nice and different. After being out all day at Camelback Ranch it was definitely nice to return to the hotel and go down stairs and enjoy the hot tub and pool for the evening. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was set up as early as 7am for the guest. There is enough sitting inside and outside to have your breakfast. The location of this Hotel is around all other essential stores and a Dutch Bros about 2 blocks away!
