An older style property, with very good sized, VERY clean rooms and bathrooms, and friendly, helpful staff. Continental breakfast had good selections, and a nice coffee machine for various coffee choices.

Reservamos este hotel para passar o Natal próximo a Serra da Estrela... escolhemos o Eurosol Gouveia por haver restaurante com boas qualificações no hotel. Ocorre que o restaurante não abriu para o Natal e não havíamos sido informados anteriormente... resumindo, ficamos sem ceia de Natal! A cidade estava inteira fechada. Poderiam ter avisado anteriormente, assim não ficaríamos neste hotel.

Através de uma reserva efetuada no site Hotels.com, atempadamente, no dia 31/12/2016 fizemos o check-in no Eurosol Gouveia para passar a noite de fim de ano com uma tarifa que segundo os dados que detínhamos incluía alojamento e pequeno almoço.
No dia 01/01/2017 quando fazíamos o check-out, fomos surpreendidos pela recepcionista que notou que não tínhamos, eu e a minha esposa, comparecido ao jantar de réveillon uma vez que este estava incluído na nossa reserva.
Esclareci a funcionária que ninguém nos havia informado de tal facto, lamentavelmente. Ainda mais surpreendente foi o facto de a referida funcionaria nos ter esclarecido que quando fez a contagem dos clientes para o jantar e notou a nossa ausência não encetou qualquer previdência, alegando falta de disponibilidade para nos contactar. Saliento que estivemos toda a noite no quarto e na vossa base de dados consta o nosso número de telemovel. Adiantou-nos ainda que Hotels.com havia efetuado anteriormente o pagamento dos nossos jantares.Este descontentamento originou uma exposição da nossa parte ao operador Hotels.com.
