Room & entire premises extremely cold. Central radiators were off. She turned on the AC in the room and set it to cool to 73ºF, but the room was in the 50's. I figured out how to reset it and left for dinner. We returned to no electricity. We had to negotiate a candle.
Room was extremely small, only 2 ft on each side of a double bed, which was lumpy. No place for suitcases. She suggested we open them in the car and take in what we needed. Bathroom was clean, but small with no room to put anything. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special.

Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! Our room was comfortable and had a nice view of the mountain…a/c worked quietly and efficiently. Bathroom small but shower had hot water and ample room to place toiletries. Property is so very tranquil…owners even shared freshly picked plums with us and happily chilled our own bottle of wine we enjoyed having on cute outside table and chairs as we watched the sunset behind us! One of the most charming places we have stayed during our decades of travel to different locations! I give it beyond five stars out of five!

Quaint inn run by very nice older couple. Lovely breakfast. Lack of language beyond Portuguese. Inn is older and a little outdated in decor. Some very interesting items in the common area. Overall, the facility was clean and well kept. Clearly have more local guests than international guests. Room was small, but some of the other rooms looked larger. If I would have had a suitcase larger than my carryon there would have been nowhere to open it.

A nossa estadia apesar de breve, foi ótima. O casal Sr.joaquim D.Ceu e seu filho José, foram muito agradáveis. Apenas algumas ressalvas, o café da manhã foi muito simples, apenas uma opção de pão, queijo da serra e presunto. O box do banheiro muito pequeno 1m x 1m. Mas isso não será empecilho para um retorno, pois gostamos muito. A nota no tripadvisor não é condizente.

Um lugar sossegado no campo
Os proprietários são bastante agradáveis e ajudaram muito na indicação de locais para jantar e passear. O local do hotel é afastado do vilarejo mais próximo e facilita muito se tiver um carro a disposição. O café de manhã é bem servido e inclui o gostoso queijo da Serra da Estrela. Na época que ficamos estava quente e faltou um ar refrigerado para refrescar o ambiente do quarto, mas durante a noite ficou melhor.

Très grandes difficulté pour trouver. Du coup je connais la moitié des personnes de la vallée qui ont jalonné mon parcours et avec qui j'ai passé une partie de l'après midi à l'ombre des arbres..
Le quartier est très isolé et par conséquent tranquille.
En tout cas je ne regrette pas cette incursion dans cette sympathique contrée aux gens très accueillant, que ce soit mes hôtes et tous les autres.
