Staff everywhere were nonchalant and preoccupied. Food at restaurants was terrible. Location was far from most destinatioms so I used Grab taxis everywhere (relatively cheap plus foreign transaction fees on each fare) because of that. Hotel itself was spacious and clean. The warm cookies at the front desk made my day.

The pool is awesome in the late afternoon. Note that the \"bakery breakfast\" is not actually breakfast. You need to request the actual breakfast separately. Also, the resort is not convenient to any outside restaurants. Generally a pretty nice place to stay.

This was our 3 rd sty at this hotel in 3 months . just loved it . The staff the pool , the great burger lab at the pool .
Comfy beds , water everyday , a fridge and very helpful staff .
Only complaint was the man who worked at the coffee and I understand this is not managed by the hotel .

We love staying at Bangi Resort! The vibe is always so relaxed and peaceful, theres an awesome pool and gym and heaps of great dining options. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay and look after us so well. We love it, can't wait til the next visit!

Hotel in it's day would have been great, but listing as 5 star is further from the truth.
It is in need of repair which is clearly visible with wall paper etc coming away from walls.
The gardens are pretty but thaf was the only positive.
The hotel is too far out of city to see or do anything.
Food options are limited and as westerners were not catered for.

Property dining all closed until 7pm due to Ramadan. Westerners unable to order room service until 11pm. Pool got emptied after 3 days of us being there for maintenance. This hotel is overrated. Ran down, dirty, all restaurants closed. Coffee shop only open for 4hrs 12pm to 4pm. Shuttle bus non operational.
Does not cater for tourists unless you are local. Extremely disappointing and our kids were not able to eat anything. Too far from KL over 45min drive.

Loud every night from 7pm to 11pm due to hosting huge Ramadan dinners. Pool area is the only nice thing but when it was closed for maintenance we had no option but to check out 3 days earlier. Hotel not interested in refund or apology. We really felt singled out. Stay away people this hotel is hardly 3 stars. Never again

Overall is good, just the front table counter service have to improve. The front girl voice was too soft, really difficult to hear what she said and to avoid miscommunication if possible as we have getting waiting there nearly to 5pm and without any welcome drink..

This was a nice place to spend the weekend. The room was clean and very spacious. Great facilities such as a steam room (that was fantastic), a sauna, a reasonably well equipped gym - all of which are open 24 hours, and a large pool overlooking a golf course. We did not try the breakfast. Staff were warm and pleasant.

Friendly staff. They’re super friendly. I’ve got some problem with expedia while check in at 1am, and the staff keep calling the expedia about the booking because they dont receive any receipt from expedia. Cleanliness is excellent. Big room with comfy beg. Big swimming pool and separate between kids and adults. They got kinda fish pond. Its beautiful. U cam feed the fish. Affordable price and its recommended!

I think the biggest issue is a mismatch between expecting five star accommodation and what this resort is actually like - which is probably 2-3 star at most. Reason for my really harsh rating is as follows: from arrival greeting and service from lobby staff was poor, reception staff were not helpful, the hotel appearance was very dated (desperately requiring an upgrade/revamp), staff were not knowledgeable (in almost every aspect), our room was not properly cleaned (my four yr old found somebody else’s underwear under the bed), the tv signal in the room is really poor - it’s very pixelated and is almost like it’s not tuned properly. The area is very isolated so pls expect to spend most of your time in this area at the hotel. They say they offer three restaurants but be careful because these have limited timings so you don’t really have choice. Just to finish this off - when each of the above were raised with staff we had little to no feedback, or when we did get feedback - like why there was a previous guests underwear under the bed we were told they only clean under the bed once a month!!!! I really would not recommend this place - Hotels.com you cannot rate this as a five star resort.

a bit far from shops or mall.. but the shuttle service provided makes up for it.. pick up was always prompt.. overall the hotel is nice place to relax.. breakfast was ok, nothing grand... the staff manning the counter should replenish food though without prompting from guests... the staffs at the reception was not friendly to guests.. maybe they are just tired but should at least greet guests with a smile.. the waiters and pool cleaners are much more friendlier...

Not a great experience. Check-in took more than 20 minutes and credit card was improperly charged. Very frustrating process to connect to the internet, pool closes at 7pm leaving limited activities in such a remote location. One drink at the restaurant cost 30 MYR vs 8 MYR elsewhere. The facility was clean and pool area was nice.

Our room was spacious and it fits perfectly all 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 child aged 4 and 6. We didnt get the rollaway bed. The kids slept on the sofa. The balcony's floor is clean. The shower and the bath tub separately. The swimming pool was clean and awesome. The rules wasnt that strict. no particular swim attire code stated for the pool and saw some people wearing normal tshirts and pants. Breakfast selection was great for adults and kids.

Free late check out ideal for night flight travel

Great hotel with friendly check in staff \"Lisa\" who went out of her way. Room was well set up and clean plus a free late check out. Only disappointment was 3 staff at the bar and not one come out asking if I needed a drink. Was always given a weird look when I went to the counter to order... I was out there to spend my RMB, most hotels are in your face as more money in drinks and food than accommodation.

The bad : Our room was very close to where all the AC condensing units were. It was very loud, so we asked for another room. There was no other queen so we accepted a downgrade to a twin and we had to go back to the lobby with our luggage to exchange keys. There is no AC anywhere but inside the rooms... That wasn't good.
The good is everything else : the staff are very nice (although no upgrade or commercial gesture for the inconvenience), the rooms are very nice and clean...

Coffee was advertised as available but no coffee machines available. This is common in Malaysia but I expect a hotel with this level of service to update menus accordingly. It was reported they were to be updated in 2 months time. Not really acceptable for a hote with this star rating! Coffee seems a basic....
