This was our second time staying at the Rockport Inn. We enjoyed this clean, very friendly staff, free breakfast, large room, warm pool and very quiet atmosphere. Nice price! Enjoyed the local restaurants, art class and the Gloucester Elks.

This Hotel was clean but the listing was very misleading! They are NOT located on the water as the photos would suggest in fact they are about 2 miles from Bearskin Neck.

We dealt with three different staff members. We were a half hour early for check in but there were only a handful of people staying there being the off season. The woman who would eventually check us in was sitting in the breakfast area on her tablet. She could plainly see me standing at the front desk, but scrolled on her tablet for several more minutes before coming over to check us in. The vibe was cold. The other two men we dealt with were fine and helpful . The room was clean and fine. The \"heated\" indoor pool was very dirty and not warm. Unusable.

As for the pool it could use up dated. The fire pit was very nice but, it rained one night and the seat cushions were socking wet. Maybe put them in pool area at night.

The staff seemed grouchy. When we asked them for information about the surrounding area they said we could read the brochures. In the breakfast area when we notified them that the continental breakfast coffee dispensers were empty, she walked out of the room without a comment. Stayed for a the weekend as part of our plan to go to visit Salem for Halloween. Room was clean, beds were comfy as well, water being nice and hot even though i read previous reviews about the running water not being so well. Staff was very nice and helpful. I was a little scared about seeing the woods right outside our door at night with all open grass. Overall I enjoyed my stay it was quiet and cozy.

This was a decent place. It was clean and pretty and had an indoor pool (though we didn't use it) and a nice firepit area. The refrigerator was tiny (smaller than the typical small fridge cube) and our unit wasn't easily accessible to load and unload our suitcases but other units would have been. This is my 2nd time staying here. I very much enjoyed my first stay here over a year ago. Although the room, and the cleanliness were great, I did not have a great experience checking in. We arrived at 3:00 for our check in. When we presented at the desk we were told to wait a couple of minutes because they were switching shifts. Okay, understandable. We proceeded to wait a couple of minutes as the same person who told us to wait heads outside for a break, then back in to go to rhe bathroom. I called to see if the other person at the desk would answer because they aslo didnt acknowledge me. They did answer the phone but continue to disregard me. After 10-15 mins the same person who told us to wait proceeded to check us in. No apologies, no explanation. Our check in was quick so i do not understand why checking us in was not the first priority.
