Have been staying here since it opened. Bar and restaurant have been refurbed but the rooms are in need of a refresh. Shame the mini bars are now empty and that the toiletries are a little downgraded. Breakfast is also not as good. Location and staff excellent.

The staff is top notch, and they are CLEARLY supported by management to put the customer first. Beautiful hotel, incredible design and the BEST location in Athens’ gorgeous suburb of Kifissia. I travel to Athens often and for decades, and have stayed in many 5-star hotels: NO OTHER hotel is better value than Semiramis. The remodel of the pool and bar area is STUNNING. BRAVI to owners, management and all staff! Hospitality the way it should be.

The weird lack of a way to effectively communicate hotel rooms (they use stickers) led to annoyance after the first day. At least give each room a name related to the sticker. Something. The rooms are in need of a refresh, hopefully they will follow the restaurant update that was just completed. Staff was friendly and efficient. Food was good.

This property has a great location and proximity to confisia which is a busy district. With tons of restaurants and shopping, it's extremely safe at night. There are plenty of people around and you can go out for drinks and walk home alone at 3:00 a.m. And be completely safe. I love it here. Be sure that you go to the steam room. They also have an amazing gym. The pool is so cute and they have a great little menu as well. If you need to call a car to the airport they'll get it for you and it's 65 euros at night and 50 euros during the day.

The hotel is very modern, colourful, clean and fresh. The staff where very nice and friendly. The rooms are great but unfortunately where very hot and the air conditioning didn't seem to work and had to sleep with the balcony door open with a lot of traffic noise. this was the only downside if the air-con worked properly it would have been great.

We regularly stay here when visiting family in Athens. Neighborhood is lovely and has great restaurants and shopping. Hotel is consistently clean and comfortable. Staff is very courteous and attentive. Breakfast buffet is very good and Free onsite garage parking is a plus. We stayed during renovations in the lobby, which was a bit noisy but did not impact other hotel amenities. Will return again soon.

This is our 2nd time staying at Seminamis. Our first experience was 2 years ago, I remember we were very impressed but the modern design and the vibrancy of the colors - predominantly pink! Our recent trip was less impressive, we feel the hotel is beginning to show its age, our bathroom door in the penthouse constantly got stuck. I forgot to mention our room was upgraded to a penthouse but I thought it was a free upgrade, when I checked my bill, while our 1st and 2nd nights retained the original rate, our remaining 3 nights were an extra 100 euro per night (I was overcharged at least 300 euro). It was not explained when we checked out but I found out after we left Athens and didn’t want call back and debate with them. I felt they were a little dishonest with returning customers.

With this experience I will choose other hotels in my future trips.

Nice hotel. I was staying for 2 nights for business. Local area is nice with some commercial area and restaurants near by although the hotel is in a quiet street.
The service was efficient but can be more smiley and approaching, especially for the breakfast staff.

The pool area and the restaurant were really nice and everything worked flawlessly. The only downside would be the location; a bit far from downtown.

The staff were very helpful when called and would fulfil any requests immediately. They even provided a roll away bed for my sister and printed my airline tickets for free. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Needed the location and there weren't many options

This place is a blast, set firmly in 2007's version of 1967 mod. I expected to see Austin Powers emerge from the elevator in tight pants at any moment. To be more specific, there is a clock radio in the room that also charges iPads and iPhones, as long as you're talking about versions 1 or 2 (the very wide plug). The pastel design and irregular shapes are cool until you try to do any work at the desk, the punk shag carpet and pink lounge chair must have been pretty swank before they got permanently faded and dirty-looking, the towel heating rack would be awesome if it worked, etc. etc. My room was on the top floor with an awesome veranda (which contained some organically-shaped plastic things that again must have been the bees knees at a design show). So that's that about the design and condition: dated but interesting and somewhat non-functional if you're a business traveller.

Room service (cleaning, food) was sketchy/inconsistent to the point that I finally had to say something, leading to: service-wise the front desk staff was simply superior, made all the difference in the world. They know how to operate a very high end hotel, and that really made all the difference for me not simply leaving after my first night. Can't overstate that.

In relation to my usual Hilton this place was nicer yet shabbier with worse service but better management, won't e back unless I really have to, take what you can use from that...

Unconventional in many respects

Once you get over the concept of no numbers to rooms (Just shapes), and the led display at your door way (do not disturb, please clean room etc.) You'll find a bright and very modern room. Mood lighting, frosted glass walls to the bathroom etc. Be warned, using the shower does tend to floor the bathroom floor though.
Very comfortable bed and blackout blinds let to a good night's sleep.
The service in the restaurant was disappointing slow though

Great staff and overall experience

The hotel is located only a short walk from the main shopping strip in Kifisia. It offers large very clean rooms with great facilities including a gym and a very nice pool. The staff are very helpful and attentive. However, as with all hotels, maintenance starts to get out of hand and, as such, the hotel is starting to show some signs of wear. But this would be the only gripe.

Used to be perfect

Have visited before and found it perfect in the past. A couple of years later and there were signs of need for refurbishment (furnishings and tiling would benefit from deep cleaning, maybe replacement). Service was erratic, staff appeared friendly yet immature in their delivery; would benefit from training and/or mixing them with experienced hospitality professionals. The hotel used to have both style and substance, now it lacked the latter; hope it improves in the future.

Lovely stay at the Semiramas!

The Semiramis was a great hotel and we would highly recommend! The service was amazing and they were extremely helpful and accommodating with any request. Great pool, gym, and hammam. We were in a wedding 10 min away so we chose the Kiffisia area to stay close by. The area was great with cute little shops and stores near by. We wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay near the touristy Athens area, but would recommend if you want a quiet suburb.

Post-modern getaway

We were delighted that the staff at Semoramis was able to check us into our room at 10:30am upon our early arrival. The hotel has a funky and fun post-modern, Jetson-esq quality. The best part of our accommodations were the black out shades, fantastic bed, linens and pillows, and the AC we were able to chill to provide a deep and restful sleep. Our room had a private balcony, and there was free wi-fi throughout the property.

This is really cool and fun. In a really chic neighborhood. The breakfast was bangin and everything was really clean. The only thing that sucked were the pillows. You guys really have to replace them - they feel like flat clumps of cotton balls. BUT that would not make me not come back. This place was awesome and next to a Lebanese restaurant called Nargile that served one of the most delicious meals I've ever had in my life. A 10 min walk from the train. Not in the center of the city so you will spend 40 euros in a taxi from the airport. That's the only downside really (and the pillows). I loved this hotel.

I checked in around 11pm after a tiring day of business meetings. I showed the receptionist a copy of my booking for one night. He told me he had 2 bookings from me for 2 rooms. Off course I repeated thatI had only one resrvation. This delayed me getting to sleep for over 20 minutes and finally I was given access to my booked room at Euro 200 for one night. The receptionist was rude.

The day of the check out my sister was down with gastroenteritis and spent all the morning in the bathroom. When I called the reception to ask for a late check out since she wasn't in a position to walk and leave the hotel, the staff member instead of asking if we need a doctor or anything was really rude and the only thing he was saying on the phone was 'what time will you be able to leave the room? I need to know the exact time of your departure!'. No empathy and no effort to provide any assistance! I would not recommend this hotel! Only good thing is the location. Poor breakfast

Cool funky modern hotel with a stylish outdoor pool.
Super stylish modern hotel , small rooms & tiny bathroom but all well thought out with balconies overlooking the funky pool.

Best Wifi coverage ever !!
Excellent quality restaurant food, just a shame they don't offer any greek inspired dishes ... At least one good greek dish should be on the menu in addition to the classic Greek salad.

Good choice in nice location

Have stayed here before and on this trip, chose it again over others nearby as I knew what to expect. Interesting designer-led feel to the whole place (a boutique hotel?) means that everything is yellow and pink based. quite a small hotel (around 30 rooms or so) means it is never too busy and all of the staff are very helpful. Pool area has a waterfall into the pool so drowns out any road noise there may be (not really any noise) and makes for a restful area in the middle of the district. Hotel food is good, although you can also simply walk over the street and through the park to find a nice square with a few restaurants for a change. Around 15 minutes walk down the road is the expensive but nice shopping area, so well located.

The hotel is unusually modern for the part of Kifisia where it is located. Handy distance from the airport, takes around 30 minutes. Hotel is very colourful and I booked a \"Bungalow\" where you have your own back door and little garden area - enough space to have a terrace and 2 sun chairs with some other space - you are nicely enclosed within the garden area - it was nice to have the back door open in the morning to let the sun in and I also had the front door open too so had a nice cool breeze coming through the room whilst I was working. Hotel staff very nice and accommodating, some nice touches in the room too.

Amazing hotel. Great not to have a standard hotel room but to get something really special. The different lighting options kept me entertained for ages. Also nice to have a good desk area with comfortable chair and free WiFi. The pool looked very inviting, shame I didn't have time to try it out. Nice restaurants are very close as well. Great stay.
