I'll start with the positive and move to the less positive
First the hotel staff is very good and courteous.
The service was good I asked to change a room and they made an effort to change our room.
The food is also good.
Now to the not so positive the rooms are dated and with old carpeting. There is a smell of mold in the corridors of the hotel.
The hotel needs redoing and refurbishing.

The room was fine, very basic. We stayed for one night so it was OK.
The staff was pleasant and helpful.
There was a very noisy party in the evening that ended after midnight, it was very annoying.

Rooms basic but comfortable and clean .location was brilliant we went in late October take a jumper cardigan for night time as it does get cold but they do put on a log fire and makes it really cosy they even supplies us with blankets loved it Food is really tasty we booked a massage and Jacuzzi and it was 10 out of 10.

Only one night, friendly & helpful staff. They helped work out bus routes. Since extremely limited bus times of service. Especially on weekends, almost non existent.
Nice room even though seems to be older buildings? No air conditioning, WiFi was intermittent. Good amenities & sufficient.
Meals were excellent, some costs higher than average. Small bathroom & old tub with shower.
Mainly a hiking & winter skiing area. Not much else to do other escape city summer heat.
I got 8:40 am van bus to Trimiklini @ a supermarket then bus 60 to Limassol. But I took a taxi from Kakopetria to Troodos because no Sunday buses.

Hotel is very old and needs to be renovated however some rooms are ok and others totally unlivable. The issue is in Cyprus there are places where there is no other option or just one other option and Troodos Mountain has only two places to stay really so you have to bite the bullet if you want to stay here.

Bathroom clean bedroom had great views over the mountains
Room overall clean carpet had stains which could be removed to make it better
Food we had half board everything was cold breakfast & dinner
The second day spoke to reception the let us eat in the restaurant at no extra charge so was able to enjoy hot food which was very good

Perfect place for hiking and outdoor lovers. Spacious room with clean bath. All what you need before/ after a hike was nearby - small grocery shop, nice restaurant, coffee shop and bar to enjoy local food. Nice and helpful staff, especially the lovely Slovak lady at the reception. Coming back next year (or even this autumn), will also recommend the hotel to my hiking friends.

Enjoyable stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Troodos. All was clean. Staff were helpful. We had a great view across the mountains from our room. Lovely log fire in the evenings when it was cold. Nice food (not a great deal of choice for vegetarians but OK). Very good breakfast.

A \"cool\" place to stay.

A wonderful and relaxing time. Food was great, and the service was excellent. And with the temperatures soaring over 39 in the rest of Cyprus, 20 degrees really fet cold.

Troodos hotel and spa review
This hotel is the ideal location for ski enthusiasts, being 5 minutes from the slopes and situated in the Troodos mountains, one hour and fifteen minutes from Nicosia's downtown. The ideal escape from the city to experience the tranquility of the highlands.
We stayed in a roomy, spotless room. The furnishings are somewhat dated.
It features standard amenities like wifi, a TV, a refrigerator, and a hairdryer.
They were quite accommodating when we requested a delay in check-out, since we went skiing.
Our lodging includes breakfast, which was quite minimal.
We tried their restaurant for lunch and dinner. Some dishes were tasty and some were average.
The portions are large.

What we loved:
goat cheese salad
chicken soup
Average platters:
-Beef burger
-Salmon fillet
-Ravioli
the service was good at the restaurant and hotel
the restaurant's fireplace added to the ambiance.
The hotel has a spa but we didn’t have time to check it out
In general, we loved the place, and would go back again
Overall experience: 7/10

Fabulous location hotel very disappointing

The room was tiny and claustrophobic, with no view, the staff were inattentive and bar staff practically ignored us. Very disappointed as we are regularly visitors to the troodos. Hotel very old and in need a gret improvement

On top of mount Olympus, Troodos is a quaint village with beautiful views and even more amazing hiking trails. The hotel food was good, great portions even if maybe too much food at times. The bruschetta was delicious. The staff a friendly. The rooms are clean. The breakfast was good, buffet needs work. It’s a typical European hotel with 42 rooms, including 5 family rooms. Ours was small but super affordable.

Amenities in room fridge,toiletries,water,tea & coffee,filled daily
WiFi good only downside the tv didn’t have any other channels in English or any other language except Greek
Breakfast choice on cold items very good hot breakfast choice good but food cold except on last day when cooked to order
Restaurant food excellent service friendly & informative
The overall stay very enjoyable would recommend

good location with views but basic

the location is nice and you have a good view of the mountains, if you are there to ski then this would fine and you don't want to spend much. You need a car and also there is not much around in terms of options for food/drink. The food in the restaurant and breakfast were average. The hotel is dated but it is a 2 start, rooms are basic, you can't control the heating in the room and the duvet was dirty, but the bathroom was clean.

Economy room so not great expectations but bed really uncomfortable, bathroom tired. Breakfast was ok but cooked breakfast was not hot.

Excellent Hotel

This is a superb hotel with a first rate restaurant. The roaring fire adds a lovely warm feeling on a cold night. Service is excellent with a great choice on the menu. Breakfast is generous with decent coffee. The surrounding area is great for hiking and touring. WiFi is only available in the common areas but that is okay as it gets you out of your room and down in front of the fire. Try the Troodos martini. We loved our 5 night stay.

Very Pleasant Stay

We only stayed for one night and found everything about the hotel very very good, if there was something that could be better is the hot items at breakfast which only had bacon, eggs and sausage, there was plenty of other items in the continental section, but this is only a very small thing.

Warm and Welcoming

We were bowled over by the views from our bedroom window - worth paying a little extra for. This hotel is for the energetic, walking, mountain biking are the main activities. There are a some tourist shops in the village square and one selling a few groceries and essentials. Be warned the weather is much colder here than down at Paphos. You need woollies and gloves.
Hotel staff are eager to please and all speak English.

Always nice at Troodos. The setting is beautiful and the hotel is comfortable--particularly its restuarant/bar on the ground floor. The room was clean with a beautiful view but the decor could be renovated.

The room was pretty small and basic, and often very cold. The heating seemed to be on a timer, and didn't do much to actually heat the room. Free wifi in the lobby and restaurant, but not the room. Old fashioned decor. Nice lounge area in the restaurant.

Enjoyable stay in stunning scenery.

Hotel fine, not the place to come if you're looking for nightlife, but lovely scenery and so quiet and peaceful. Several marked hiking trails nearby. Staff helpful and pleasant and meal was good and value for money. Our only negative was that the double bed was very small, so not a comfortable night sleep - at 6 foot tall, feet were hanging off the end! Investment in larger beds needed!

Odalar eski eşyalar eski tuvalet banyo eski kesinlikle yenilenmesi gerekir ses yalıtımı yapılması şart tv de kanal artırılması veya YouTube izleyebileceğimiz bir smart tv olsa iyi olurdu. Odalar sıcaktı ama koku vardı is gibi. Çalışanlar iyi ama profesyonel değil giyim olarak. Kahvaltı açık büfe az ve tabaklar bardaklar çatallar hijyenik değildi ciddi şekilde temizliğe önem verilmeli. Konum çok iyi yerde ama geceleri bir jaz müzik olabilir dışarda bir ateş ortamı yapılabilir gündüz dj partileri veya bir etkinlik düzenlenebilir.
