We had a wonderful experience at N1 Hotel in Zimbabwe. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, making our stay very enjoyable.
A special thank you to the cleaners, who did an excellent job every day. The rooms were always spotless, fresh, and well prepared. Their attention to detail really stood out.
Big thumbs up to Joe, who was extremely understanding, kind, and professional. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and was always ready to help with a smile. His care and support made our stay even more comfortable and stress-free.
Overall, the service was excellent, and we truly felt valued as guests. We highly recommend N1 Hotel to anyone looking for great service, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere. We would happily stay there again.

The N1 hotel is a nice hotel. I only had a problem with the room. It was very big and empty, only with a bed which makes it a bit chilly at night.

The WIFI stopped working at night during my Canadian working hours. I couldn’t continue with work and my meetings but I was told by the front desk that I should have notified them so to give me another voucher. I then got a voucher in the morning although it was now late for my meetings. Overall it is good. Thank you

The property is in a good area, check in was smooth. The issue is, we faced bugs crawling on us all night which kept us up. These bugs were also found in the bathroom. The room also didn’t have air conditioning so it was beyond hot. Parking is available but it is street parking. We were told the car was safe as they have a security guard but when we came out in the morning, we found a local washing our car (scratching it in the process) and then wanting money. Overall, would avoid

The hotel in not in a bad area, but no elevators ,so if you book here with luggage be ready for the struggle . When i checked in brought all my luggage in and looked i around asked the guy at the desk where to find the elevator he simple said \" unfortunately we don't have one \" ...n didn't even bother to get up n help .. o has thre big luggages . The rooms are quite a nice size and clean

Pleasant place to overnight when touring the area.

Stay was comfortable and facility, very good valie for momey. We would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. We found the evenings a bit noisy, maybe because it was a month-end weekend? We were in room 101, the feed pipe into the toilet pan was leaking, regrettably, we forgot to report it.

The rooms are spacious and there's an echo as if you are in a bathroom when you talk. It was thus difficult to take a phone call inside the room.

N1 Bulawayo is a no-frills basic hotel that offers large, clean basic rooms, helpful staff, no restaurant but an acceptable breakfast is available at US$7. Excellent wifi.

Comfortable hotel

The N1 was a nice l, comfortable hotel. We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Bulawayo and were able to check in early. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was in a good location to the city with most places a 15-20 minute walk. We left our bags on the day of departure which was a big help as we were getting an overnight train to Victoria Falls. The only feedback would be to look at darker curtains in the room as the sun came through easily when it came up.

Reasonable hotel avaliable in Bulawayo

Arrived midnight night to check in and was welcomed by a young gentleman who was on night duty. He was very helpful in assisting me with checking in .I was disapointed when I got to the room it wasn't very clean the was female hair on the bed and on the floor.

OK hotel for what we needed.

This hotel is ok however, there is no shower, very poor wifi, TV only has 3.5 channels, cleanliness could be better. However the front deck person Chama was very helpful in all aspects from getting basic supplies to arranging activities. He made the difference. Hotel is under renovation. Convenient to train station and InterCity bus is next door.

A PLACE TO STAY WHILST VISITING THE CITY OF KINGS

I was impressed by the quality of the hotel which is conveniently situated in the middle of Bulawayo, the city of Kings. It is affordable and has professionals to welcome you at reception.They listen when you don't want to be disturbed or people entering you room when you are out. What I like most is that you don't lose out on your dues/ entitlements. They will be waiting for you with your bag of goodies. Thanks guys. Well done. Will surely return soon.

Very convenient, near major attractions

No elevator and no luggage service will make it hard if you have much luggage. Glass vents above door have spaces between so insects can come in. Wifi kept dropping frequently and I felt double bed was smaller than in Harare N1 Hotel. Staff were great and very helpful, could leave luggage at the hotel, hotel and Intercape in the same building so very convenient for arriving and departing by bus. Location is great and full of old colonial architecture around, do make sure to visit Cape to Cairo Bar on Mugabe Ave. IMO, Bulawayo is a better place to stay longer than Harare. While in Bulawayo, make sure to visit Mzilikazi Memorial, Mzilikazi Grave, and Rhodes Grave (in Matopos NP, use an unmarked private vehicle with Yellow number plates, marked taxis are not allowed inside).

Not a bad two-star hotel in the middle of Bulawayo

This is a perfectly-decent two-star hotel in the middle of Bulawayo. It's extremely convenient for Intercape Pathfinder buses, which is why we stayed there, but we were glad we did. Nice staff, a big room, and high standards of cleanliness were the best points; noise, the lack of shower, and the teeny-tiny telly at the far end of the room were the worst.

The rate of hotel was 55$ and they charge for exebition 99!!!.you beloved or not no shampo and they asking extra money for shampo.
Shower absoultly was disaster .i have photo of shoer .i must send you .

Affordable and centrally located

The hotel offers clean rooms and clean white linens at affordable rates. Conveniently located next to the Pathfinder/Intercape bus terminal and city centre. Most major attractions and shops are within walking distance.

Noise from passing traffic and a neighbouring club can be a bother.

Please place mosquito nets above the beds. We were harassed and bitten by mosquitoes despite being on second floor. Alternatively, regular fumigation will do.

The hotel needs to upgrade the batrooms. Remove the old washbasins and bath tubs and erect showers. Had to use a bucket to avoid using the tub which was inconvenient.

Cheap place to sleep

This hotel is ok for a bed to sleep that's about it. I've stayed in better hostels than this hotel. I stayed here while visiting a sick relative for 2 weeks because it was the cheapest hotel in Bulawayo. Out of the 2 weeks my wifi worked 3 days. Despite bringing this to the attention of staff I couldn't connect leaving me to use data roaming. Not the staff's fault, it was the service provider & the state of the country. Very noisy at night with music from nearby. The staff were very friendly

This hotel is very well situated in Bulawayo.

The hotel is clean, the rooms spacious, the staff and the manager went out of their way to be helpful.
It is however very basic, just a tub, no shower, no safe ( the manager was very help full and took our things into his own safe) .
The internet was really poor on the third floor.

バスタブはあるのですが、蛇口があるだけでシャワーが無かったのが残念でしたが、掃除の方々をはじめ、スタッフの皆様が温かくてとても親切でした。ショッピングモールやスーパーが近く、便利です！

街中で便利

部屋はとても広く、清潔で快適でした。
お湯を沸かす電気ケトルと紅茶コーヒーセットもついていて便利です。
スタッフもいい人でした。
隣が長距離バスのオフィスでそこからハラレやビクトリアフォールズにバスが出るのでとても便利でした。

Eine Insel in einer lebhaften Stadt

Leise ist es nicht gerade, aber wer in der Stadt zu tun hat, kann alles zu Fuss erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und richtig gross. Für mich war es eine gute Wahl und ich werde demnächst wieder hier sein.

N1 ist günstig und gut gelegen, immer Buchung wert

In 30 südlichem Afrika entgingen uns auch nicht die 3 N1 Hotels in Zimbabwe. Wärend das N1 Vic Falls glänzte wurde man in Bulawayo schon bei der Ankunft enttäuscht. Die Check in Zeit wurde nicht beachtet, das Zimmer war nicht fertig. Eine 60 - 75 Minütige Wartezeit schloss sich nach unserer Ankunft mit dem Zug an. Wir kamen in die Verlegenheit, ein Gespräch zwischen der wohl neu angestellten Rezeptionistin und einem \"Stammkunden\" mitzubekommen. Wir bekamen den Inhalt aufgrund eines sehr starken Akzentes nicht vollständig mit, jedoch wurde u.a. Über uns und unser Zimmer geredet. Offenbar stand dieses zur Disposition, da der Herr wohl keine spontane Buchung mehr vornehmen konnte, da das Hotel ausgebucht war. Wir bekamen trotz allem unser Zimmer. Die Rezeptionistin war aber mit der Situation (und mit anderen auch) überfordert. Das Zimmer war toll, jedoch gab es keine Dusche. Nur eine Badewanne. Also nahmen wir ein Bad. Während wir unser Gepäck beim Auschecken in N1 Hotel Vic Falls problemlos haben einen Tag bis zum Abend lagern können, machte uns der Rezeptionist den Eindruck, dass es ihm nicht allzu lieb ist. Trotzdem war es möglich. Summa Summarum war dies das mit Abstand schlechteste N1 Hotel, obwohl Bulawayo die für uns sehenswerteste Stadt in Zimbabwe ist, mit dem Matobo National Park um der Ecke.

Eenvoudig maar prettig hotel, redelijk centraal.

Een eenvoudig maar prettig hotel, redelijk centraal gelegen, zeer ruime schone kamer, met een ouderwetse kleine badkamer met bad zonder douche. Het hotel ligt naast het Pathfinder busstation. Het personeel is zeer hulpvaardig en vriendelijk. Ze hebben voor een betrouwbare taxi gezorgd naar Matobo Nat Park.
