What a fantastic little hotel in Mirissa. The fresh fruit selection at breakfast was amazing. Waking up in a four-poster bed and stepping onto a balcony overlooking the beach and coconut trees was an absolute joy. The pool was lovely, and from the balcony you could even see Coconut Tree Hill.

The location is perfect—within walking distance of Coconut Tree Hill, Mirissa Beach, as well as plenty of restaurants, shops, and spas. Tuk-tuks are easy to find if you want to explore further, but honestly, everything you need is just around the corner.

Lastly, the staff were incredibly attentive, especially Damith, who looked after us so well. Thank you so much.

Great location, clean and spacious rooms. Very good breakfast with fresh fruit , fresh juice and eggs any way you like them. We booked the sea view room and was spectacular. Very nice pool, with nice loungers and umbrellas. Staff was super helpful.

The staff was outstanding, working very hard in a hot humid part of the world to pack our luggage up stairs and cook our breakfasts. Speaking of breakfast.... yum. It starts with coffee a local fruit plate, a fruit smoothie, eggs and toast, then bananna crepes. Lively. Our room was lively with canopy beds and amazing views. A nice small hotel with outstanding staff. Well done!

We booked a room for 3 adults and paid extra and unfortunately the bed we were provided was terrible not suitable for a child let alone and adult… the property should not be advising the option of three adults in a room. Otherwise the property was nice. Close to Cocunut hill and about 15 mins to walk to town. Luckily Dimat working in the restaurant saved the property! He greeted us every morning with a big smile on his face…. Nothing was ever a problem he is an amazing asset to the property

This hotel was a highlight of our trip and easily our favourite in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. We were so impressed by the ocean-view rooms that we upgraded on the spot, and it made our stay even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit

Booked for one night but ended up staying a day longer. Charming tiny hotel in a popular strip. The location is right off the main road with plenty of dining options nearby. Direct view of the Indian ocean from the bed in the mornings and evening is breathtaking. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Request for a \"devilled chicken\" to have with a cold Lion beer. A truly Sri Lankan experience. Bravo Sea World Boutique Hotel.

Beautiful rooms and friendliest staff

We stayed for three nights with our 1 year old baby. The staff are excellent, so welcoming, and attentive and really enjoyed playing with our son. We had a sea view room, the view is beautiful, and the bathroom and shower were excellent - you can see the sea from the shower! The staff provided a lovely wooden cot which was perfect for our son. The cot fit next to the bed and the bed’s mosquito net covered the cot. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our child’s needs. All in all, we would recommend to other families and travellers. The staff are a credit to the place.

Sea World Boutique is a FANTASTIC hotel - we loved our stay there. The hotel itself is stunning (the pictures don't even do the beauty of the location justice!) but more than that, the staff are wonderfully welcoming, so friendly and it was a difficult day when we had to leave! Thanks to everyone for a brilliant few days in paradise.

Lovely small boutique hotel

We only stayed for one night however the hotel was lovely. Small boutique hotel right on the beach with lovely pool. You can access the beach and do snorkelling to see turtles and can walk up to the coconut trees. Approx 5 minutes in a tuk tuk to mirissa for a very small fare. Hotel staff went above and beyond for everything we needed. The WiFi worked however wasn’t strong enough in our room for us to fill in our visa for Malaysia so they put a router in our room! Would recommend and would stay again

This property is in a great location, right on the beach a minute walk to the main area at turtle bay and 5-15 minute walk to most restaurants in Mirissa. The bus stop is also conveniently right outside the hotel. The pool however was not clean with tissues etc at the bottom , and the room smelt of damp. The manager was extremely helpful throughout our stay.

We had a very nice stay there deluxe sea view room was amazing. Great views, easy beach access, view from the bed and shower. Clean and friendly staff.
Nassim the manager was very helpful and arranged a taxi for us to Negombo.

Great location but poor management

We had a very mixed experience at this hotel. The location right by the sea was incredible and we definitely made the most of it by enjoying the sunbeds at the front and taking a dip. Our room was also well kept and clean with air conditioning (although it was loud, so we had to turn it off and use the overhead fan at night). The bathroom was also in good condition with a nice shower.

What ruined our stay somewhat was the communication and attitude of management there, and the music.

We were woken up at 8.30am by loud music being played by the hotel manager - with bass resounding through the building.

When we arrived and check in, we provided our receipt as proof of payment and told the man at reception about a 5.45am pick up the next morning for whale watching. Unfortunately none of this info was passed on to the actual manager who was apparently off sick that day. We got downstairs the next morning to find the building was locked at the front, nobody at reception and no bell to ring for attention. We ended up having to leave via the back, walk along the beach and reached the road through a different property. Luckily we didn't miss out pick up! They were apologetic about it afterwards.

Finally, when we checked out, the hotel manager was rude to us, seeming annoyed that we had paid online. He apparently couldn't find the printed receipt we had given the other man on check in and demanded proof again. Luckily we found the email, but his attitude was still off after that.

A quite a peaceful hotel near the sea. The staff, especially Nassin was very helpful and accommodating.

Good breakfast with a great view.

The hotel is a short walk to Mirissa beach which has all the bars and restaurants.

Overall a good place to stay, peaceful and away from the crowd.

This is our second time staying here and it's really in the best spot. Up from Mirissa beach. You are in turtle Bay. Heaps of turtles. Walk down to the groin and they are swimming all there next to sea Google's restaurant right on the beach. SeaWorld Resort is great and the staff are fantastic and the food amazing. Oh it has a great pool when you're finished swimming in the ocean.

Great hotel, superb sea views, lovely staff

Stunned by the room overlooking the sea, balcony too! Huge and comfortable bed. Very clean, serviced everyday. Shower and bathroom were really good too. Just out of Mirissa beach main resort, beaches close to, were quiet and beautiful. Only a 15 minute walk to the main drag where the restaurants etc. are. Breakfast was lovely, eat overlooking the pool and the ocean, wonderful! The best thing about this hotel though? The staff, all of them so happy and helpful. Organised trips to local temple and whale watching. Also gave us great advice. Many thanks to Udara and his team, Mahinda, Shiyani, Mohamed and Udayanga, you were brilliant! Will never forget your smiles!
Thoroughly recommend this hotel if you ever visit Mirissa!

Quaint hotel on the beach

We upgraded from a standard room (road side) to a deluxe room (over looking the sea). These rooms are so much betters I definitely think it's worth it. We bartered the price down so definitely worth a try doing this.

It's on the outskirts of Mirissa Beach which is a 20 minute walk from the main beach where the restaurants and few bars are.

Definitely worth a stay as it has it's own pool and small beach lounger area. Not great choice for drinks and we didn't eat there but there's plenty of choice in the main Mirissa Beach area

Very nice hotel, good room, great ocean view. The beach road to the main beach was a bit tricky (bring a flashlight to use it when dark), but still preferable to the heavily trafficked main road.

Only slight negative was that our taxi when leaving was 1 hour overdue, despite us booking a couple of hours in advance, and the reception repeatedly ensuring us it was \"one minute away\". A long minute, that was...

Great view and good location

Very good location on Mirissa Beach and right outside a bus stop to go to other South beaches.
The bed was comfortable, very good air con, good shower with good hot water, the room was very big and clean.
The breakfast was ok, fruit, bread and eggs. The staff were lovely and very welcoming

Great little Boutique hotel in Mirissa

Beautiful small Boutique hotel. We stayed an extra night on our booking as we thought we would relax rather than traveling north for 1 night before we flow out. Diving is great in the area. Sea turtles swim all day out the back on the beach front of the hotel. Staff are super friendly and therefore the hotel has great service. Food is good. Rooms are very comfortable and large (we had a beach front with balcony). Would very much recommend this hotel. Surf is also quiet good in the area for beginners to intermediate. Town and main mirissa beach is a short 5-10 min walk and can do via the beach or road

Very happy with our stay at this boutique hotel

Directly on the beach with some nice snorkeling spots, although the main beach in Mirissa is nicer for just swimming. Lovely small pool area. Great, personal, warm, but at the same time professional service, especially from the front desk manager as well as the pool guys. Deluxe rooms were fantastic with bonus points for shower, bed and balcony which has great views to the sea. But I would emphasize that the service was just superb.

If I have to come up with some cons, walk to the town takes around 10 minutes by a busy road. Also, the room price is on the more expensive side and could be somewhat lower. Now it is on par with European prices for similar hotels. However, totally worth it for a few nights. Pool bar food and beverage also slightly overpriced.

Lite og koselig hotell med stranden. Ikke ideelt for bading rett nedenfor stranden, men en spasertur på 5 min og du har flotte strender som venter. Stort flott rom, med god seng, romslig bad og egen terrasse mot havet. Veldig god frokost.

Went there as a family and booked two rooms overlooking the ocean (2nd floor). It was magical. Comfy beds, beautiful ocean and sunset views, great pool and direct beach access, and wonderful staff who were always on hand to help.

Breakfast was brilliant - fruit platter, fresh juice, choice of eggs (recommend the Sri Lanka omelette) and pancakes.

Absolutely loved our stay here - I could sit on the balcony and look at the ocean for a week.

Note: We were there late October, so the hotel was quite inexpensive and there were only few guests.

Note2: If you go to Mirissa, have dinner at Nautica. You won't regret it.

Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Hotel ist direkt am Stand, von der Terasse aus kann man das Getümmel auf dem Coconut Tree Hill beobachten. Kurzer Weg zu diesem beliebten Ort. Man ist schnell im Zentrum. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Strasse, da war es tagsüber laut. Nachts kein Problem. Wifi war nicht so gut. Frühstück lecker. Mittagessen hatten wir auch einmal a la cart bestellt, war gut! Ausreichend Liegen und Sitzplätze vorhanden.

Beatiful and well located

First reservation was pushed three days by hotel. I couldn't puch the trip som I made a new reservation which was paid and confirmed. At arrival it was not there and I had to pay an upgrade for a nicer room. I got 5% of the full price even though it was the hotells mistake. Also I had to pay cash or accept a credit card fee at 4%.
The hotel it self is very nice and calm right by the sea. The sea front rooms are fantastic and service level is high. Without the administrative hassle it woudl be perfect. Close to Mirissa beach which can be reached along the beach if you are a bit agile with a somewhat rocky path along the beach.
