Positives:
•Spacious room with pleasant colours.
•Genuine sea view if you book a sea view room (I stayed on the third floor).
•The receptionist was very sweet, attentive, and helpful with local information.
Things to be aware of:
•The hotel is in a busy area, so music from outside is audible (common in Mirissa).
•Although the sea view is nice, keeping the balcony doors open wasn’t realistic due to mosquitoes and unpleasant smells from rubbish below the property, as well as a nearby generator.
•The property isn’t very old but needs cosmetic upgrades and a thorough deep clean. Cleanliness, particularly in the shower and common areas, could be improved.
•The layout creates echoing hallways; noise travels easily. I was woken at 12:30am by loud guests in the corridor and had to intervene twice.
Breakfast was included, but I chose not to eat there as the lobby and dining area felt quite dark and uninviting.
Overall, with better maintenance and improved cleaning standards, this could become a pleasant boutique stay. In its current condition, it works only as a very basic short stopover rather than a relaxing beachfront experience.
