This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet area of Bergerac but very close to the railway station.

My room was very comfortable and clean with a good bathroom that was also very clean.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good.

I would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. English spoken. Simple 3*, but very good hotel. Don't let the strange colour pillared frontage put you off. Very convenient location on a quiet side street just a few minutes walk to the town centre. Secure (shuttered) parking behind hotel was €6/night. 3 free parking slots directly outside, also a free public car park 50 yards away. Good swimming pool. We were there during a heat wave and the room A/C worked perfectly. Good shower and bathroom.

This is an older property and is situated in a small side road set about 20 minutes walking towards the river and a selection of restaurants
The lady on reception was fantastic and offered to help carry out bags as there is no lift The hotel is spotless and our bedroom was fantastic with view of the back garden and swimming pool area
The lady at reception walked us around to show us everything that was available including a free chilled water fountain so that you can re-fill you own bottle or they supply water jugs for your use
There parking on sight
The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with air conditioning and very comfortable beds and tea and coffee making facilities in the room

Lovely small hotel. Friendly and welcoming, clean and comfortable. Great choice of continental breakfast at 10€. There is no lift but we don't mind stairs and didn't have heavy bags. We both slept well in comfort. Air conditioning worked well. Good quiet location in a picturesque little town. Highly recommended.

Stayed for a couple of nights and really enjoyed it. Had everything we needed – great value for money. We particular loved the pool area and it was open until 10pm so great to cool down after a warm day. The hotel is a five minute walk from the train station and 10-15 mins from the city centre/riverside. Also just a few minutes away from a big supermarket. The hosts were fantastic and really helpful (they booked a taxi to the airport for us, for example). Would definitely come back if we’re ever in Bergerac again!

Ideal location for a trip to the Rugby World Cup

We had a lovely stay in this friendly hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with much appreciated air conditioning. The lovely swimming pool area was an added bonus and provided the perfect location to rest and relax after busy days.

The location was perfect for both visiting the old town of Bergerac and for transport links into Bordeaux.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout.

Good hotel within easy walking distance of town

This is a good town hotel in a good location within east walking distance of the town. Staff are friendly and welcoming and very helpful when explaining where to go and what to do. Bed is a bit firm and the bathroom is small but it was ok for our overnight stop. There is some secure hotel parking for an additional cost but adjacent parking is free and seems very safe. I would recommend this hotel.

A perfect hotel for a long weekend in Bergerac.

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. The pool is a lovely place to spend an afternoon after a morning strolling round Bergerac. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and all the sights. Rooms are basic but spotless and comfortable for peaceful sleep. Continental breakfast is available and is great for the price. Highly recommend this hotel.

Clean hotel close to the town centre

This hotel is a short walk to the main town centre you can get there in about 5 minutes. One street close to the hotel on the walk back is quite dark but we always felt safe and families walked home with children later than we did. The hotel is cery clean and drinks are very reasonable priced. The pool area is beautiful and an excellent place to relax. The wifi can sometimes be hit and miss but we managed to wat h netflix most nights. The baths are tiny not big enough to sit in but tje shower is powerful and there’s always plenty of hot water. The biggest negative for me was arriving at 11.30 am and being told that the room would not ne ready until 1 when the information I hd received said it would be ready at 12. Although we were able to leave our luggage we went out for a coffee when all we wanted to do was have a shower and nap. The reception staff are friendly. You can hear some noise from the other rooms and we did have occasions where there was a lot of noise and slamming doors in the hallway. We weren’t sure if these were people checking in late. Overall its a noce hotel the sheets are changed regularly and you get fresh towels every day. The only english tv channel is bbc news.

Nice hotel quiet location

The hotel was about 6min walk from Bergerac which was ideal. The hotel was ina quiet location with nothing to disturb your sleep. There was a nice little secluded pool area at the back.
The room and bathroom were adequate although a little small, more space would have been nice but you get what you pay for!
The hotel owner and his wife were very pleasant, breakfast was traditional French and very nice.
I would stay there again.

We had to curtail our trip due to a family emergency, and found the staff very uncooperative. We had to leave early, and cancel our second night, and notified them within 24 hours, but they would not refund us in any manner. They offered us free coffee as an apology. The hotel itself was nice enough; we were just disappointed in their lack of cooperation with our circumstances.

We didn’t eat there as we like to go into town but the food on offer looked good. We didn’t use the pool either but the pool area is lovely and the water felt warm. A nice place to have a break from sight seeing.

Good value two star hotel. Good WiFi reception. More than adequate breakfast (extra). Only criticism would be that I should have asked for a quieter room not facing the rue du petit sol. There is also a/c for an extra 10 euros (useful in summer). Easy walking distance form the station, an likewise into the main town of Bergerac.

Great location about 5 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes to old town. Rooms a bit dated but very comfortable and clean, the only negative is the walls etc are paper thin so if you have a noisy neighbour you will know about them.
Little bar which is great and the staff are fantastic. Breakfast was ok but lacked the home cooked breads etc we have had in other French hotels, but there was plenty of it and the price for breakfast was very good. Overall if I was stopping in Bergerac again I would use this hotel as it has all you require at a great price. Value for money here is excellent.

By car, this hotel seemed a bit out of town, but on foot is only five minutes from the edge of town and ten minutes from the river.
Modern-ish build in what is largely an old-build town. It has a large carpark out back (at extra charge) and a large carpark next door that is free most of the time.

Hotel was comfortable without being in anyway special. I would certainly use it again. Feels family run ( they don't speak English which was a surprise for English-dominated Bergerac) but that's not their problem. They were very friendly. There is a pool, but I didn't use it.

2 night stay visiting the area. The hotel position was good in the centre of Bergerac and with in easy walking distance of the old town and restaurants. Staff service was excellent. Off street parking was provided at a nominal charge 4 euros. Wifi connection was good. We did not take breakfast so cant comment. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Bergerac is small and quaint but one full day should be enough unless you want to go thru it with a fine toothcombe .Outside in the villages most things are closed down by 9 pm so plenty of time to enjoy your hotel room. A comfy bed useful as you'll be in it quite early!
