The hotel receptionist was one of the best I have ever encountered. She was very thoughtful and we were upgraded to an apartment as we brought one more guest. She went out of her way to help and that hospitality is rare nowadays. The place was clean and we really enjoyed our stay

Clean, reasonably priced & central

I just needed a quick overnight stay in Redon for family business purposes. I saw this come up on Expedia and booked it on the basis of other reviews.My nephew and I both stayed in themed rooms - mine was \"movies\" and I think his must have been Japanese as his bed was only a foot off the ground! Quite fun and does the trick of being a bit different from the rest of the mid-price accommodation.

The bad bits
The car park is accessed from the street behind the hotel but you don't find that out until later. It's not advertised and we went round the block three times before we worked out which entrance it was. Warning - unless you have a very small car, you need to take two bites at the turn-in. Also, you can't get in the door from the car park until you have checked in as it has a security code on the lock. It was raining and we had to go back round to the front of the hotel in order to get in. Remember that check-in starts from 17:30 - what this means in reality is that you can't gain entry to the hotel at all unless you have a key because it's not staffed until then so don't turn up early.

The good bits
This wasn't a good start but after that we didn't have any issues. The receptionist didn't speak English but that didn't prove to be an issue. Payment is expected in advance. We got shown the lift, the access door to the carpark.(with a key code) and the breakfast room. Breakfast is an extra 7 Euros - self service and can be taken at any time,

So not bad and I'd stay again

A good location but blighted by all the road works. The corridors smelt of snake as did our room. Nobody around when we tried to change it. Our room no. 108 was just above the outside smoking area. Even got woken up by the smell of someone smoking. Good shower and nice to have a separate loo. Good breakfast.

Resting in Redon

We are sailing around France and leaving our boat here for the Winter. So we used the hotel to stay in whilst we closed down the boat.

Each room has a theme, ours was Chinese, and was colourfully decorated with pictures, lanterns etc.

Great hotel, good value

Could not fault the hotel or the staff. I had a kitch Chinese room. They let me park my motorcycle at the back. Breakfast anytime you like, with a wide choice and great pastries. However, there is very little to do in Redon so great for a stop over but not a destination.

Convenient and clean

This is a most convenient Redon Hotel. In fact we returned there again. We had rented a barge for a week and decided to stay there after our return. Very nice people running the hotel. Located across the street from the train station made it easy to meet our family and send off a friend. We did not try the breakfast...plenty of cafes and patisseries nearby.

Fabulous! very helpful staff, amazing theme rooms and right in the heart of Redon. It was surprisingly quiet for a town centre Hotel and we spent a very comfotable night. Well worth the buget price and we would not hesitate to highly recommend this Hotel.

Nuit au Queen Serenity

De passage pour 1 nuit mais l'hôtel est très bien, calme même avec la voie de chemin de fer en face. La chambre était confortable et décorée sur le thème de l'espace. Le lit et les oreillers sont très bien, la salle de bain est propre et correcte. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.

Hôtel bien situé et accueil agréable. La solution pour le dîner avec le traiteur local est parfaite! Literie très dure et inconfortable (dans la chambre Maroc et avis personnel). L'équipement de la chambre est sommaire.

Hôtel bien situé et chambre propre et confortable

Hôtel utilisé pour une étape en famille lors d'une randonnée à vélo. L'hôtel était fermé à notre arrivée et nous avons dû appeler et attendre un peu pour qu'on nous ouvre. De manière générale, il y avait rarement du monde à l'accueil. L'hôtel a un local pratique pour stocker les vélos pour la nuit et la chambre était très propre. Bien que situé juste en face de la gare, la rue est très calme.

Bien qu'étant près de la gare, je n'ai pas été dérangée le matin par les trains. Chambre spacieuse et agréablement décorée. Petit-déjeuner bien garni en sucré avec notamment d'excellentes crêpes, d'un très bon rapport qualité prix.

Le personnel était à l'écoute et sympathique.
L'état général de l'hôtel était satisfaisant. Par contre je dois dire que j'ai été un peu déçue de la chambre.
La décoration Hippy, fumeur de joins n'était pas franchement à mon goût du tout et ne correspondait pas à du tout aux attentes qu'on était en droit d'avoir en regardant les photos du site.
Cela dit j'ai réservé au dernier moment et ai donc eu la seule chambre qu'il restait de dosponible et dont personne ne voulait.
Si j'ai un conseil à donner, il serait préférable de changer de thème de décoration.
D' autres part, une partie de la salle était fermée pour travaux et de ce fait il fallait aller dans une pièce (trop petite) pour remplir son plateau et dans une autre pour prendre son petit déjeuner se qui ont rendu les choses beaucoup compliquées pour moi qui était seule avec mon fils de trois ans. J'ai été obligée de faire des aller retours d'une pièce à l'autre et de le laisser sans surveillance car la circulation avec lui et les plateaux dans les couloirs étroits était impossible tellement l'hôtel était bondé.
Le buffet n'était pas très garni et tout avait l'air industriel.
L'hôtel ne fait pas restaurant se qui oblige à sortir pour les repas, ce qu'on a pas forcément envie de faire lorsqu'on on vient en voiture et qu'on a fait beaucoup de route.
À part ça, l'hôtel est très propre et le personnel souriant et sympathique. Très bien placé, juste en face de la gare de Redon.
