While they have recently renewed flooring in halls and rooms, overall general condition is average. Beds comfortable and everything worked as expected.

Being a college town with several other hotels in the area, they are average, compared to Hampton and Holiday Inn for example. In town for Ohio basketball game and while they all inflate rates when they can, the price while reasonable compared to others, still not justified. Breakfast ended at 9:30 on a weekend, prefer 10 or 10:30, especially after a late night game. It’s a room, OK, but more expensive that it should be.

Check in and parking were both easy. My husband is in a wheelchair because he just had surgery and the hotel was not very wheelchair accessible. We struggled to get into the lobby to check in and we were put in a room where our parking lot entrance had no ramp to get him in and out. I had to pick up the wheelchair onto the sidewalk, which wasn’t ideal. Other than that we had a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, working ac and heat. There is a gym and a washer and dryer on site as well as an indoor pool (we didn’t utilize any of these)

Breakfast was simple: eggs, ham, waffles with syrup - very fresh and tasty. Good coffee.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Although our room was in need of renovation, it was clean and well stocked. VERY comfortable bed & pillows.

The room was nice. Your staff was great! We have stayed there a couple of times before as we have grandkids in the area & the love using the pool.

I know you are aware of the floors & there are notices posted saying you would be fixing them soon. They can be a tripping hazard & it is a safety issue.

Thx, for a pleasant stay. We'll be back!

Not very quiet-all composite floors lot of noise bouncing off the walls. If your room is near the doors- they are self closing and slam shut, you can feel the vibration from it. I believe you can hear the doors close from one end of the hallway to the other. If you have a spa tub a 15 minute timer is annoying, pretty much ruins having it. No bathroom exhaust fan. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast is OK, they do have 24 hr. coffee and juice (orange/apple).

The room was kind of dirty and you can hear everything, so getting sleep was nearly impossible. The first room we got smelled of smoke so we asked to change rooms. Also, the hotel itself is very old and dingy, floors are coming up as you walk down the halls.

The staff was friendly and helpful. That’s the only positive thing I have. The beds were hard as rocks. The shower had hair in it when we got there. The pool was freezing and also had lots of hair in the drains on the pool deck. There were band aids in the hot tub. Over all bad experience. Definitely will not stay here again.

I was able to get what I needed from this stay. The room looked almost done with renovations. I enjoyed the cleanliness especially the bathroom. The room had a working microwave and fridge. I didn't watch much TV but it was available. I had a huge bed, very comfortable. In fact the room was comfortably big. In the fitness center, I used the precor treadmill. I didn't have time to try the other equipment. I didn't go to their hot breakfast but it smelled good. There's coffee in the room next to the front desk all the time. I saw that there was a washer and dryer, and vending machines. The hotel has an unusual architecture. The price was quite low so I was surprised by the quality.

A great budget hotel. It's not the Ritz, but everything works and is clean and comfortable. We even hung out in the pool and hot tub. No info on the breakfast though.
I would give it 5 stars if that damn stairwell door would ever stop squeaking!

Quite a few problems and a couple good things. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, but that's about it.
There was a large residual puddle of sticky stuff to greet us just outside our door. the AC was squeaky all night. The staff was far from sparkling. Breakfast had few choices and none hot unless we heated it.

It was clean, safe and close to Ohio University. Beds were comfortable, and the pool and hot tub looked nice, though we did not use it. We were on the 2nd floor with no elevator and had my 84 year old mother with me. Breakfast area was too small and the offerings were limited. There were quite a few repairs needed, floors in the hallway, screen on our window, fan in our bathroom, etc. Although it is cheaper than many other hotels in the area, it still seems overpriced given the state of disrepair.

No stairs to second floor. It is an updated older motel but very clean. No carpeting, which we like. AC was working well. Fan in the bathroom was noisy. The shower curtain was difficult to adjust so that shower water wouldn’t run out of the tub.

With these places that have hard wood floors and never clean them. Totally not cool. After a long day you can’t talk your shoes off unless u want dirty socks.
