Room was great! Comfortable mattress and pillows. Loved the toiletries stocked in the room (Rocky Soap products). The only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 was due to noise. The walls are very thin and you hear EVERYTHING. Very loud people at 12 am, 2:30 am, 5:30 am. Bring earplugs. Having The Keg in the lobby was a big plus. Didn’t need to leave the lodge to eat, had dinner and breakfast there, which was amazing food and service!

My room was ready and clean upon arrival. Front office staff was friendly and helpful. They helped hold my skis for me when the airline delivered them to the hotel due to an airline delay in the skis arriving. The room was made up daily and cleaning staff was friendly and thorough. The hot pools were nice but the jets weren’t working which would have been nicer. I received a $15 Canadian food credit daily that was able to be used at various restaurants including the in house restaurant, The Keg, which was amazing.

We spent 4 days here and really enjoyed it. My sister and I had a massage which was really lovely. A bit pricey, but its Banff. We tried the breakfast buffet which had a large variety of fruits, breads and sausage, bacon etc. The eggs benny were very dry and overcooked. You could order eggs any way you liked from the waiter. We sat in the lounge to waych the Blue Jays play. Everywhere we went the staff were exceptionally friendly and fun. Our last night there we ate dinner in The Keg dining room. The food was wonderful and came out in a timely matter. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. Next time, I would get a room with a balcony.

2nd time we have stayed here. older hotel but updated. both times we have found the doors to be sticky and in need of planning down. Carpet was new and room was clean. Just a 15 to 20 minute walk to downtown or you can get a free bus pass to take the Roam.

I enjoyed my stay on the most part, however it was a bit noisy with kids running to the ice machine, I am gusssing, on the first night. The toilets are very low off the ground, however they functioned well. Parking was great, staff were great, the Keg was good offering breakfast buffet or menu and exceptional dinner dining. Candace at Red Earth is great at giving facials, pool was great too!

The room was on the small side, but not an issue when all you're doing is sleeping in it. Well equipped and clean.

Parking is brilliant, the underground car park was a good idea. Although if you have a bigger vehicle that won't fit you could struggle to find somehwere nearby.

On site restaurant is exceptional.

Other facilities there are good, didn't use the spa so can't comment on that.

The hotel overall was clean however it’s in desperate need of an upgrade. I booked a loft suite and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, the jetted tub looked gross and the room was hot even with no heat and both windows upstairs and downstairs open - it was snowing outside and cold. Our room was not cleaned properly prior to checking us in.
The tub had dirt and hair in it, and the sink had toothpaste dried all over it.
The sheets were not changed.

After notifying front desk they sent someone up with a rag and cleaning spray who cleaned the tub/sink.

They did nothing about the sheets..
We had to wait until the next morning to ask one of the cleaners to please change over the bedding.

Front desk did not seemed concerned about this at all.we will not be staying at this location again.

There was hair in the tub when we first arrived. The shower curtain needed to be replaced. The shower head was set really low and not adjustable, so hard for taller people to use. The bed frame wasn't anchored to the wall and there were huge holes where the nails were supposed to be. There were no welcome snacks or extra toiletries (Q-tips, cotton puffs). The mini fridge was so cold it froze our stuff. However, the linens were clean and the theme of the room was warm and cozy. The hair and skin care products (Rocky Mountain) were amazing as usual.
The spa was nice overall, and the massages were amazing, but the geisha tub was too tiny to really relax in for two people.
The underground parking is a disaster. Really tiny spaces, under construction, and a lot of spots pooled in mud puddles.
The staff were really lovely throughout the facility, and overall a good experience!

We just stayed at this lodge for a week and it has been great! The hot pool and sauna is a nice touch after a long day of hiking and exploring Banff and the mountains! Things to consider if you are thinking of staying here:

- Rooms oddly do not have a microwave! The staff downstairs will warm up your leftovers but just something to consider. It will cool down before you get back up to your room lol.

- If you don’t have a car, it’s a decent walk to the downtown area, it is definitely not the closest lodge to the core of Banff. The first few days is fine to walk but eventually it’s inconvenient if you want to go back to the lodge quick or drop bags off. If you have a car there’s a few free parking areas in the core. But again, it’s one thing I wished we considered a bit before booking.

- Staff were friendly and everything was clean! They did their best to accommodate a late check out for us! Pretty decent lodge overall and I’d recommend. I wouldn’t say it is luxury but if you’re looking for a safe clean lodge with friendly staff and just have a place to sleep, you’ll be happy with your stay here!!

- There isn’t really a cafe downstairs or anything so for morning coffees you’ll have to walk to another lodge. Theres a Keg here but I’d skip it and try one of the many amazing cafes and breakfast spots downtown!!

We were shocked to find out that one of our beds had not been changed. We opened the bed only to find wrinkles and sweat marks, sure evidence that someone had slept in it and it had not been changed. Poor staff member or someone had made their bed prior to the staff member coming in and they didn’t check it, I don’t know? But it was an uneasy feeling for sure. Also the coffee pot been emptied and cleaned. I called the front desk and it was attended to immediately.

We had a beautiful stay with you which upon arrival I extended. The hot tub and pool were very attractive. Due to the Spring Break everything was in over use. To be expected. We were moving East to West Coast so the timing was what it was. Loved the stay. The hotel was Canadian and what I would expect in Banff. Good vibes all around.
We did not have breakfast (was it included in the room price? If so I was not made aware….).
The staff was “transient” resort staff which of course is tied to the snow sports and specialized beautiful outdoor recreation focus. But it impacts the level of competent staff. We enjoyed our stay with you and our visit to Banff. We will return and stay again when we can!

Pre charging people cards is 100% unacceptable. I charged 1 dinner to my room. $200 dinner. $800 room. They charged the dinner before the stay was over. And told me they will continue to charge the card as charges come in.

Until I review what they are charging nobody should be charging your cards. This was not explained and when I saw a huge charge on my card the following morning they had an explanation for everything. Excuses. Was non professional or made me feel comfortable or trust anyone with my card as security when their charging it every second they have before approving the charges or reconciling.

Staff were friendly also that restaurant The Keg was the worst Keg I have ever been to with the amount of mistakes on our meal and bill. Multiple times to fix the same issue. Horrible service.

All in all I would stay there again but will never eat on site and will expect a signed waiver saying no charges will be processed until pre approved. Absolutely absurd.

Great location where it's far enough away from downtown but walkable. Wonderful restaurant on site, really enjoyed going there every night for dinner and every morning for breakfast if I didn't want to go anywhere else. The room was comfortable, and reception staff are all super helpful. Parkade is nice, clean, well-lit. Lobby area is good for a quick break. I would definitely want to stay here again.

The staff and the ambiance of the hotel were amazing. The only complaint we have is that the hotel is a little bit dated and they don’t take care of the hotel rooms very well. There was a broken tile outside of the jacuzzi tub that we almost hurt ourselves on a few times. And it’s not very clean. Someone else’s food sat outside of our hotel room for three days while we were there until we finally moved it into the middle of the hallway so someone saw it and took it away and three employees had come to our room to deliver stuff for us. The cleaners were constantly on our floor cleaning and no one noticed to food to take it away from in front of our door. The hot pool was very nice. It was very busy and there were tons of people there but we never felt overwhelmed or ever ended up waiting in lines for time.
