House keeping and towels were all over the place, we know we booked a chalet for 2 yet when we arrived given a surprise bill of €140 as there was two of us. Who books a chalet for one. Witnessed people having sex in the hot tub next to us. Was disgusting. Miles from anywhere as well no taxi apps reach up there. We had to drive everywhere.

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel. Check in was very easy, the reception staff were amazing and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was spotless and the veiw outstanding! The area around was peaceful and there are many trails / hiking opportunities. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Good value for a stay in the mountains!

The staff is very friendly. Even though only 2 out of 3 nights were booked in a Classic room, they upgraded us to a Superior room - which unfortunately is still a bit small. However, the view of the mountains, and fantastic breakfast (beautiful restaurant in separate building up the hill) makes up for it! We wanted to have dinner there, but restaurant was unfortunately closed for dinner over the weekend.

On last night, a big bus load of teenage students checked-in that was very noisy until about midnight. But I more so blame it on the teachers/supervisors who should have been better at controlling the kids. Oh well ...

The hotel is beautifully located on a mountain with lots of forest.
The staff was friendly, the room well equipped (although a minibar fridge would have been nice), and we liked the breakfast buffet.

Actually, everything could have been perfect, if it wasn't for the incredibly noisy room. When people walked on the same floor, or even worse, on the top floor, it sounded like somebody was walking on high heels on a metal catwalk right through our room. With the non-existent soundproofing, it was impossible to relax/sleep.

I really hope they get this fixed, because otherwise it's a great place to stay at.

Okay. Can be better.

The location is very nice but the chalet we got (#1) was quite old and a bit run down. There are no regular electric sockets in the chalet so very difficult to use the laptop etc. kitchen minimal and not very useful.
The chalet was however clean, and the staff (way too small in my opinion) did try to help.
Apparently not all the chalets are the same - another one we saw (#7) was in a better state.
All together okay but not more.

Medelmåttigt och långa avstånd

Rummen ej klara i tid. Man måste köra bil till frukosten som ligger i en annan byggnad… för få parkeringsplatser.

Rummet känns mer som något man kunde betala 50-70€ för… trångt, mörkt och låg standard. Extremt tight att röra sig i badrummet.

Ottima accoglienza, personale molto disponibile. Camere pulite e con aria condizionata. Ideale per chi ama la natura e la tranquillità. All’interno della struttura c’è un ristorante dove abbiamo cenato benissimo, vi si possono degustare anche ottimi vini. Ci ritornerei sicuramente.

Camera pulita e spaziosa, letto king size molto comodo.
Colazione abbondante, varia e ben allestita con prodotti freschi dal personale molto gentile.
La strada di accedere alle varie strutture dovrebbe essere illuminata/segnalata meglio in quanto raggiungerle di notte potrebbe essere difficoltoso.
Assolutamente consigliato il soggiorno per la posizione e l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Buon hotel in un bellissimo contesto

La struttura è grande e bella, le camere sono normali, il bagno è grande. Buone le pulizie giornaliere. Trovandosi all'interno di un gigantesco parco privato si possono fare passeggiate nella natura, giri in bici e godere di un bel panorama. Unica pecca la colazione. Pur arrivando mezz'ora prima della fine, non portavano nuovo cibo, nè salato nè dolce e neppure frutta! Quindi non so dire come fosse, perchè ci siamo dovuti accontentare di quel poco che rimaneva. Abbiamo chiesto come mai non arrivasse altro cibo e ci è stato risposto che dovevano pensare al pranzo!

La struttura in generale è confortevole silenziosa se posso consigliare all'interno delle camere sarebbe gradito qualche piccolo accorgimento tipo uno sgabello o mobiletto in bagno per appoggiare il beauty ci siamo dovuti arrangiare con il cestino dell'immondizia e magari una luce in più davanti all'armadio / ingresso troppo buio per vedere e capire cosa ci fosse all'interno

Camera piccola, senza terrazza, senza testiera del letto
Bagno senza attaccapanni e senza mensole porta oggetti doccia senza mensola porta sapone
Camera con bottiglie d’acqua in omaggio ma senza bicchieri.
Rifiniture camera povere
Ottimo ristorante e colazione ricca, anche se non raggiungibile a piedi, necessario uso della vettura a causa di una salita molto ripida
Spazi comuni chiusi dopo le 22, non è stato possibile fare una partita a carte dopo cena
In generale ciò che viene presentato sul sito non è ciò che abbiamo vissuto, ed è questa la sensazione più sgradevole.
Non credo che torneremo più

Nel specifico un hotel gestito bene
Con spazi enormi ben tenuti
All interno della struttura e presente tutto quello che desiderate.
Se posso dare un consiglio, io in entrata dove si trova la vigilanza farei un accettazione unica e all interno metterei una bella segnaletica per trovare il gruppo di appartamenti scelti.
Abbiamo girato un ora dentro a cercare ls nostra reception.

Mag geen hotel genoemd worden. Slechts overnachten

Foto's vertellen een te positief verhaal. Ontbijt niet op locatie, bijgebouw en niet altijd open.
Kamers zeer eenvoudig. Bed en 1 stoel. Sanitair redelijk. Kale muren en klein balkon.

Omgeboekt naar chalet. Vriendelijk geholpen en naar wens. Hierdoor toch leuk verblijf gehad.

Met auto toch lastig om elke keer weer omhoog en omlaag te moeten. Wegen zeer steil waardoor wandelen een uitdaging wordt.

Mi è piaciuta la posizione, consente agevolmente di visitare i Borghi della Garfagnana e la Casa di Giovanni Pascoli situata a pochi metri dall'ingresso del Parco;
la tranquillità che offre il Parco del Ciocco essendo l'ingresso consentito al transito veicolare solo ad aventi diritto controllato da Portiere 24h e sbarre che impediscono l'accesso, l'aria che si respira nel parco del Ciocco in cui si trova l'Hotel Monteceneri.
Non mi è piaciuta la posizione del frigo posto in un preingresso comune a due unità, per cui è all'esterno della camera in condivisione nell'utilizzo ;
Il percorso interno al parco per raggiungere l'hotel è di tre km in salita e tornanti, e l'Hotel non è individuabile per mancanza di insegne o segnali indicativi.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte presso la struttura,la nostra camera era bellissima,nuova ben arredata e spaziosa.
Nell’ingresso comune ad un altra stanza era presente un grazioso angolino con bollitore,té,tisane e acqua.
La colazione era abbondante e ricca di scelta.
L’unica cosa a cui fare attenzione é che la struttura non si trova a Barga ma all’interno di un parco distante 8 km dal centro mentre su trivago c’è scritto che dista 1,7 km.
