Mostly excellent!

The hotel was in a lovely location with stunning views across the mountains. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, the pool was lovely. The room was well equipped and although no air con, the ceiling fan worked well for us in 32 degree heat!

Negatives: advertised as having a tennis court, it would be more appropriate to describe it as a concrete playground as one could not access the tennis net; it was entwined in thorny brambles in the corner of the area. It was very overgrown and the ground condition was poor.

We purchased the only bottle of rosé wine on offer, for €22, which was a very poor standard and upon closer investigation (Google!) we discovered it retails at €1.99 a bottle - which we felt was a disproportionate markup. The food in the restaurant however was of a very good standard. They were also very considerate of our little dog.

All in all, a very good experience.

Fantastic but no transportation

Best breakfast we’ve had in Italy. The staff was super friendly and professional. Don’t try to come here without a vehicle. There is no taxi service and the hotel doesn’t have transport. Wonderful location and value.

Good

The service was great. They are friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel’s restaurant was delicious. However, there is nothing walking distance. Your options are limited once you get there cause you cannot walk anywhere. It is like a 30 minute drive to Cinque Terre.

Mountain view hotel (with the right room!)

This is a wonderful location although the access roads are dreadful. Unfortunately we were not given the room with balcony & mountain views as promised by the Hotels.com confirmation. Our room, whilst new, was at the back, dark, with no view and very humid. The air con didn't work. it was therefore impossible to dry towels etc. Essential not to make same mistake. The published shuttle service was not available due to vehicle problems.

Lovely place if you have a car

We wanted to get away from the crowds of Cinque Terre so this is a desired place for us. If you don't have a car and good GPS, I reckon it's not very ideal. We had dinner and breakfast (free) there, nice and clean.

The hotel is on a very beautiful hill. Rooms comfortable, lovely view and pool. Great service from staff.
The only negative point is that the hotel is very high on hill and roads are curvy and a bit small. It is also about 35-40 mins drive away from cinque terre cities but we managed to drive to Levanto, park the car for 10euros for 24 hours and then enjoyed a full day of Cinque terre cities.

Nice room. Superb view. Relaxing in country side.

It is kind of a resort-like hotel, high on the mountain next to a village that is almost smaller than the hotel. Coming by car is highly recommended because it is quite remote. We had a room above the reception, top floor, with a balcony with a view on the swimming pool. I believe this was the best room and the best view, so I would recommend it. The view was panoramic: as far as the eye can see: trees, mountains and valleys. The WiFi coverage was good. Air-conditioning would be a nice improvement, but was not present. We were in high season, but it was not too busy. The other guests were also relaxed, there was no noise: quite quiet and serene. We picked two days of pool-hanging where we had the pool to ourselves. --- The restaurant has breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. The dinner was 20,- euro for 3 courses (each course gave 3 options). The first dinner we had was nice, but the second had way to much olive oil for our taste, so that was our last meal there. The breakfast buffet was good. The multi-lingual personnel was perfectly friendly and helpful. --- If you come by car and look for couple of days quality relaxing then I would definitely recommend it. Normally we always go some place new, but this hotel might become an exception one day. By car we visited the cinque terre (Monterosso 30 minutes out), did groceries and had lunch in the nice centre of village Brugnato (10 minutes out) and had diner at La Spezia (30 minutes out).

Off the beaten track.

Spectacular views over the country-side made this a really lovely spot. Rooms are basic but comfortable although the shower was tiny with poor water pressure.The staff were very knowledgeable in helping us to plan our trip to Cinque Terra. The restaurant was reasonably priced and again, staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was just ok. We enjoyed being off the beaten track and although the hotel is quite difficult to find Google Maps was useful. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location in the mountains. Super service - really nice and friendly. The surrounding is just beautiful. The hotel has a it's own restaurant with delicious meals. The only small minus was the small shower, but this moaning on a high level! It's really a should go to place!

Nice villa in beautiful scenery

Not the most straightforward to find but there are individual signs on the way that guide you (if you don't come off the autostrade too early :-)) and is only 5 mins from Pignone and 20/25 mins drive to Monterosso. The room was basic (no hairdryer) but clean, anyway we were in the economy option, the other rooms seemed to be better equipped and had nice views. Staff were great and very helpful, and the swimming pool was ample. I enjoyed the feeling of remoteness and visa the hotel provided.

Beautiful views and great value

Beautiful location and lovely views. We had a room with a balcony. Modern bathroom, we stayed only one night to be near the cinque terres, great value for money as this place included breakfast. One of the ladies there also speaks fantastic english which was helpful. Only draw back was a very hard bed. Would stay again as great value for money and gorgeous views, we are sorry we didn't get to swim in the pool which looked very inviting.

Not worth the money

The surroundings were great, but the room was ugly. There were no internet access in the rooms, just around the restaurant. The dinner, the breakfast and even the coffee was simply bad. Definitly not recommended.

Good hotel - close to Cinque Terre

hotel was a bit difficult to find, gps could not locate the place. room is fairly sized, fairly clean room, building had bugs and flies... swimming pool was not clean. good location, would be great if it mainteance was kept up. isolated, restaurant at hotel, no restaurant in nearby area... good place to get away from the city. excellent view of the mountains.

Super séjour ! Nous avons passé une nuit avec notre toutou et tout s’est parfaitement bien passé. L’équipe est très sympa et accueillante, l’ambiance est détendue. Road Trip en famille

Nous sommes venus pour une nuit pour découvrir les cinq Terres.
Nous étions avec 2 enfants de 4 et 7 ans.
Le personnel est agréable, souriant et vraiment très sympa avec les familles.
On nous a bien chouchouté.
Le cadre et magnifique nous reviendrons sûrement pour mieux profiter des lieux.

Difficile de le relaxer...

Séjour de 3 nuits en famille en aout 2024, chambre familiale avec 30°C à notre arrivée, comprenant 2 fenêtres ouvrant sur des zones de passage. Literie basique, piscine très appréciée, petit déjeuner basique, repas du soir possible à 28€ par personne pour un menu entrée+plat+dessert non modifiable. On aurait aimé pouvoir se relaxer mais pas vraiment possible.

Vous aurez une vue splendide sur les montagnes de votre chambre, de la piscine et surtout de la salle de restaurant.
Cet hôtel familial est très propre et très bien entretenu.

Le personnel est très accueillant et le patron très chaleureux. Il se rendra toujours disponible pour vous conseiller sur vos visites.
Les enfants s’épanouiront dans la piscine et sur le terrain de sport.

Les places de parking sont limitées. Il ne denle pa y avoir de place pmr.
Il y a des suppléments payants au petit déjeuner mal indiqués, et les serveurs ne le mentionnent surtout pas. C’est la surprise au dèpart.

Buen sitio para relajarse camino de cinque terre

recomendable 100%, habitaciones comodas pero un poco de calor en agosto,baño bien, el restaurante buen servicio y buena calidad,quizas un poco lentos. el personal todos muy atentos y simpaticos. Fabbio super amable. La piscina buen cuidada y el servicio de bar tambien perfectos, buenisimos los cocteles Spritz Aperol.

la struttura è situata fuori in zona tranquilla ma senza nulla di particolare. Mi sarei aspettato una brezza serale/notturna e invece il caldo si faceva sentire anche la notte e le camere non hanno aria condizionata. Le porte delle camere hanno serrature standard e non di sicurezza. La piccola cassaforte posta nell'armadio, non funzionava. Assenza di frigorifero nelle camere. Per il resto, se si tratta di un paio di giorni, ce la si può fare.

Very beautiful location. We used the hotel for a one night stop on our way towards Rome. The surroundings are very scenic. The staff very helpfull and the place is really nice. Be aware there is no night reception, but you have to call when you arrive. The staff stays at the hotel and they came down even though it was very late and opened with a smile.

Tutto perfetto. Ideale per visitare le 5 terre fuori dal caos e relax più assoluto. A 8 km dall'uscita del autostrada. Personale gentilissimo, pulizia eccellente abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione, mangiato bene. Lo consiglio!
