Comically nice but distracted staff and service in the restaurant and some of the saddest ghost of the memory of the forgotten flavor of food for dinner that I’ve ever had for quite a pretty penny. They forgot menu twice, brought wrong drink, didn’t appear to be using gloves while handling the food.

On my last night (thankfully) I was awakened by an animal (likely a rat) in the wall scratching and gnawing away frantically. This went on for about 30 minutes. I was completely creeped out. If it weren't my last night, I would have checked out in the AM anyway. I told the front desk at check out and she didn't particularly care and just said 'I'll tell my colleague.' Also, a simple \"thanks for staying with us\" goes a long way... instead I got \"here's your receipt\".
The room service (cleaning) is terrible. Everything was hit or miss. I didn't get coffee refilled for 3 days. They never took my dirty classes. Towels weren't always replaced with the same ones they took away. Pretty lame.
I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

At check-in we were shocked with a €300 deposit never mentioned during booking. Even two days after check-out, they’re still holding our money – unacceptable.
The service was cold and indifferent. We had booked a double but got two singles that kept separating. Each bed had its own cover, making it impossible to sleep comfortably as a couple. As newlyweds this was very disappointing. When we complained, we were told we could “upgrade to a premium room” if we wanted better – no empathy at all. Only after repeated complaints did they finally fix the bed.
Breakfast was another disaster: just eggs and croissants, nothing close to a real buffet.
The spa, not included in the room rate, felt like a rip-off. When we tried it, it was overcrowded and poorly maintained. By 5pm one outdoor sauna even smelled like urine. Only one staff member seemed to manage everything, from sauna rituals to cleaning, which explained the poor condition.
Staff overall seemed more focused on day visitors than hotel guests. It really feels like a day spa with a few rooms for rent, not a proper hotel with a spa.
Overpriced, unfriendly, with hidden fees and little comfort. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.

Far too expensive. There are much better options in Amsterdam at a cheaper price. The bed was very uncomfortable - it wasn’t flat!! The bedroom was very cramped. The location is poor - it’s difficult to get into the centre by public transport. Guests have to pay extra to use the spa, which is very disappointing.

I’m sad to have returned to Zuiver to find it Promoted as a wellness spa hotel but have to pay extra to get into facilities approximately 50 euros per couple per session and the car park approximately 24 euros per night, If this is supposed to calm you down for your stay it didn’t work.

It’s disappointing spa access is no longer included, especially given the hotel is marketed as a wellness resort. That was the stand out feature and my reason for booking. Adding it in as an extra now substantially increases the price over a couple of days compared to previous years I’ve visited.

Spa facilities are superb - multiple saunas and steam rooms so no need to queue even when busy. Great, large pool which is both indoor and outdoor, several hot tubs and a fantastic large whirlpool bath. Excellent food in Spa restaurant.
Hotel rooms clean and comfortable but lack storage space for longer stays.
Hotel is in a nice area next to the Amsterdam Forest but quite a distance from Centrum and around a mile walk to the nearest Metro (although buses nearer).

Room was great! Pillows were not good. They were full of air, which made them very firm. No room service, no ice machines. You have to go to the reception to get ice, but they have to get it from the restaurant. The lines at reception are ALWAYS super long. (Same line to check in for the Spa, as the hotel check in and customer service) overall, amazing property, but lacking in service.

I could not tell what the hotel was trying to be? Was it a hotel? Was it a Spa , was it a Tennis Centre? - How knows!!
I wanted to use the Gym in the morning but was informed it was in the spa and that didn't open until 10am. In order for me to use the restaurant i have to be in spa attire , swim suit, rob and slippers.

We keep our stuff nicely organized so we can have our room cleaned and our room was only cleaned 1 time out of the 6 nights we stayed. The cleaners would come and take our towels and robes and not bother to leave fresh towels or robes, clean the room, or freshen it up. The front desk girls could care less and would make us walk from the back building all the way across the parking lot to the front to get fresh towels and robes. EVERYDAY!
I would not recommend this place nor would I ever stay there again.

We then asked if we could put our stay for the next day so that we may go back to the house get our cards which we love with our children as we had just moved in, they were not helpful and I received a check out the email when in fact we never checked in!

Wonderful Spa. Hotel is just average.
The Spa is wonderful. So much on offer and just fantastic. The gym is also superb and very well equipped.
The hotel is average. Typical 3 star, no bar, and breakfast average. Rooms ok, not amazing. Also quite a way out of the city. Will cost €30-35 from airport and same to the city Center, but worth it for the spa experience.

This was my 4th time staying in this hotel. I came purely for the spa and wellness. I’ve spent the entire day in the spa and had a lovely meal in the evening.
If you’re ever visiting Amsterdam , book this place and make sure you use the spa.

Paid for room plus spa plus breakfast and when I arrived they demanded I pay again refusing to let me check in until they had extracted another €82.25 from me. Really dodgy practice and a real rip off.

Well what can I say another amazing stay at zuiver spa hotel , the staff are amazing so friendly nothing is to much trouble, the food was truly delicious and in really fussy be I could not get enough. The rituals were all amazing and met a few different of the different people that did them they was all so nice and explained everything, the spa is so relaxing to I just did not want to come home, not forgetting the lovely staff in the tennis club next door which is the same company, cooking apple pie for me thanku hilli and for all the lovely take away cuppachinos and biscuits until next time thanku everyone for making our stay truly perfect.

The hotel itself is excellent. Really nice rooms, easy access by bike, nice area and the best spa I've ever been in. My main issue was with the staff and costs not being very transparent. I arrived later than I planned (I'd cycled most of the day to get there) and when I asked the guy on reception whether I could use the spa the following morning as I wouldn't be able to spend much time there on the check-in day he kindly said \"no problem, I'll add a note to your account\". When I asked the person on reception the following morning if I needed to do anything different checking out she said there was no note and I'd have to pay a further €45 to use the spa. Which is a real shame as the spa is amazing but I could spend a further €45. I'm not sure which staff member was wrong but it was a bit disappointing. Also when I went to get slippers for the spa as there were none in my room no one said there was a charge for them, it was just added to the bill quietly. They should have been more upfront about this.
All that said, the hotel itself is really nice so you'll definitely have a comfortable stay. And the spa is incredible, easily the best I've ever visited. I just wish I could have spent more than an hour using it.

Amazing chill away
I have stayed at this hotel and spa many times and cannot fault it the staff are always so helpful and friendly and go out of the way to help you. The hotel room is always clean and you can request anything that needs replenishing, would be nice if there was fridges in the old room. The hotel always smells amazing as soon as you walk through the doors the spa is always clean and a proper great place to relax my favourite place. The restaurant is really lovely and the staff are nice to the food that I had was lovely can't wait to go back and try some different stuff.

The saunas are amazing and awesome after travelling. Everything is very clean, comfortable and in great condition. Bike rentals with an easy ride to the train station area. The area is quiet if U want peace. Action is a quick Uber-ride away. Too many amenities to enjoy over just a few days! This is where I will always stay in Amsterdam!!!

The spa was amazing spent most of our time relaxing by the pool or in the many jacuzzi. The hotel was spotless as was our room. Will definitely be back! Even embraced the naked sessions and loved it!

Was there on swimsuit & naked days. Naked days are much better; fewer people, non-judgemental, relaxation and therapeutic with the choices of all the saunas, hot tubs, cold plunge tank and pools.

Very nice stay in a really nice part of the city. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, good WiFi, coffee maker, water bottle, soaps, well designed for charging points. Staff were friendly and polite, and I experienced willingness to answer questions.
Breakfast brought out, which was nice, but lacked choice as it fixed, meaning no vegetarian other than cheese.
Spa was really nice, naked it not naked... Sauna was ok, but not enough water on the stones in the Finnish sauna, and no other sauna had water. Steam room was ok. There were rituals also to try out products, and a restaurant to drink and eat to enjoy the spa.
I didn't get the chance to try out the fitness area, and will have to leave that for the next time.

When we arrived I was told that hotel takes 100eur deposit although I have paid for all my stay, before coming. Second, double check what spa you going to hotel, because sadly I did not checked and it was nude spa. Oh well, my mistake :) but crucial mistakes for hotel was:
1. When we arrived our room was not cleaned -(or pretended to be cleaned), because next to table i fought green pill and champagne Cork,immediately brought it to reception and no sorry? I got reply: yeah, its discussing, thanks gonna let know housekeeper. So, no sorry, not even asking if everything is OK with the rest room.
2. No coffee, tea facilities in the room. Not even the water or glass for it! Buuuuut you can but 0.5l water at reception just for over 2eur :) nice, right?
3. In the room the is magazine with all information about hotel. It was saying that for late checkout 3pm 15eur per room and if you stay until 17h its 25eur,all good, expect when I asked at the reception for this, i been told that 15eur cost for late checkout at 1pm,but they going to apply until 3pm whooo lucky me,because I mentioned this information and where i found it
So next time be aware of receptionist change the information or the price.
4. At the spa no drinking water facilities unless again... You can buy it inside spa :)
