The guy at the desk isnt there you have to call him with the number they provided on this poster. If you pay cash they require a 0 deposit. The rooms dont have bugs but it definitly gets musky in there sheets are the uncomfortable hotel sheets. Its clean. Overal its not bed at all for the $50 i payed. It was definitely a good option in a pinch

First red flag is when I walked in and seen a bird cage on the table were guess eat then the unit had Dirty sheets and I found a couple dead roaches also staff were nice would not recommend for 80 dollars please spend the extra 20 an save yourself from staff!!

had to wait for service at front counter. i didn't have a phone to call for check in. manager was off premises. check in was quick. when checked out in morning [6:45 am] front office was closed and there was no place to put room key-so i slipped it under the door. room was quiet and plenty of options for tv watching.

This was a great deal for our stay over the weekend. The room was clean and ready for us when we showed up. The sheets were kind of scratchy and the lights over the vanity were out, however, these are more cosmetic things. Great place if you are looking for a clean bargain.

I was actually supposed to stay here two nights, ended up checking out early because I did not feel safe in this room. When I tried opening the door, I found that the door doesn’t lock, so I had to barricade the door in so no one else could try to come in. I should’ve said something. There was also a swarm of flies and some roaches on the side of the bed closest to the bathroom. To test the cleanliness of the floor, I took one of the white rags and wiped a small section on the bathroom floor and the rag turned almost completely black. There was a red, sludge in the bathtub, drain, etc. so I ended up not taking a shower that night. The room was supposed to be non smoking but it reeked of cigarettes. The white sheets on my bed were stained but they conveniently tucked that part in to where they think you wouldn’t be able to see it. The ceiling tiles with water rings, black mold, exposed ceiling didn’t help either. There was already trash in the trash cans which tells me that the trash was not emptied before I checked in. Would not ever step foot on this property again. There is still a pandemic going on but clearly this property isn’t following the covid cleanliness procedures.

this property is very dated but very clean! Due to covid there was no breakfast but there is a McDonalds in the parking lot so very easy to run over there.
The only problem that I had, I stayed 2 different weekends, in different rooms, was that the bathtubs are very slick! They do have grab bars installed so that helped but would not prevent a fall

It's a cheap place to sleep

We had a terrible night stay here. Room very old. Drains did not work. Later that evening other guests staying there were drinking and very loud as they held a party right outside our window and in the parking area. There was no management intervention. We got very little sleep and left as soon as it was light.

It was 90 degrees outside and the room was even warmer. My 10 year old said he didn't want to stay. Looked around the room and saw multiple dead flies and large stains. Turned on the lights and saw what appeared to be blood staining the lamp shade. Went into the bathroom, the floor was not clean and the sink had what looked like blood and god knows what else around the rim. Although a non-smoking room it reeked of smoke, my son is allergic to smoke. Immediately left the room and did not stay the night. I wouldn't recommend this place to people I don't like. Don't let the photo showing a pool fool you, it has been closed for years.

I showed up at 5 pm to check in and there was noone there i had to call tbis number on a sign then they told me theu would be there in 10 min. I waited 20 min before he showed up. I got a room tjat had the worst smell and bath tub didn't drain. The bed was confortable and was nice to have a microwave and full size fridge.

the room was clean but very out dated. they advertise a pool which is permanently closed that was a reason we chose that motel. it took the air conditioner 24 hrs to cool the room and it was upper 90 temps outside I had to go buy a fan just so we could breathe. the milk was just sitting out on the counter not being kept cold. they had powder sugar in the jar instead of sugar for cereal or coffee. 3 muffins on the counter. a bigger refrigerator was nice but the microwave was on top of the frig so very inconvenient..then the manager wouldn't come out of his office or answer the phone because he was probably tired of hearing me complain he wouldn't even answer when expedia was trying to call. .very poor service. the wi- fi wouldn't work. so in general its false advertising no wifi no pool and barely air conditioning. I was very upset it cost $173 for 2 nights and it was a horrible experience . we ended up going to the local lake in hastings to swim a little and get cooled off which smelled horrible we couldn't even stay in it but for maybe 10 min. so overall my trip sucked .thank you deb herron

Beds were comfy but it's an old and filthy place. Lying in bed the 2nd night I realized there wasn't a light on on the smoke detector. I sat up and noticed it was opened a bit at the battery comp. I opened it the rest of the way and NO BATTERY!!! I told the owner about it and he promised to fix it. I told him he better bc it's out of safety code and I took pictures! Still pondering on calling the fire Marshall in Hastings, NE

Avoid this hotel.

The blinds in the windows were missing pieces and you could see into/out of the room. I called the front desk and told them we didn't have privacy and needed some blinds to fill in the missing pieces. They said they didn't have any and couldn't afford to keep them on hand. Our room looked out over an empty lot that backed up to a main street. You could see litter in the grass, so people had walked into that lot. It felt very unsafe, and was very unsafe. I didn't sleep that night. I do not suggest anyone stay at this lodge. We paid too much for the night, and they couldn't provide adequate window coverings to give us privacy. The sheets on one bed were stained. The carpet was old and worn. It was definitely not up to standards. I got the best I could at a late date due to the Nebraska State Fair going on and I am sure it was price gouging. This hotel is NOT recommended.

If all you need is a place to crash for one night this might be good for you. It wasn't super clean but nothing was sticky and it was bug free. They don't have modern keycard locks and I had to \"jiggle\" my key in the lock to get it open. Fun! The WiFi was flaky but they gave me a free bag of microwave popcorn!

Good side the staff are nice, kept the rooms clean even if its outdated, some things in the hotel been redone but not properly installed (important thing is its working, nice hot water) bad for 2 nights of stay both night after 10 pm a lot of noise. Group of people hangin out in some patios and noisy. When we got there some guys are going over the fence of the pool even if its closed, it looked like some partyin is going and being it them so loud were surprised these went on for few hours. We asked the staff that it was noisy he said that they will leave tomro anyways. it seems nothing happened. We cranked up the noisy ac which brought us to get sime sleep.

I booked the motel because of the pool and when we checked in they said they were waiting for a sign and the pool could not be used until the sign was put up. We were finally able to use the pool but it needed to be cleaned.
This motel looked way better in the picture. Also I paid double of the person in the room next to me (same type of room). I thought I was supposed to get the best deal with Travelocity.

Needs to be torn down

This old property needs to be leveled. When I checked it it was a manual process that took forever. The lobby was supposed to also double as the breakfast room but it was cluttered and dirty. I got to my room and it was out of the 1950's. Bathroom tile was stained. Biggest issue was that the room was full of flies. I left and found another hotel.

This is a two story property with exterior room doors and lots of parking. There is a McDonalds next door. My downstairs room was large, clean and had a standard king with 3 standard pillows. There was a blanket and a bed spread. It was soft and comfortable. There was also a table & chair, a desk & chair, a lounge chair and a large flat screen TV. HBO channels were included. Room extras included soap, shampoo, lotion, a hair dryer, an alarm clock, a phone, a microwave and a full size fridge. There was a sink inside the bathroom and another outside. Counter space was good. The shower had a straight shower bar(mounted far outside the tub giving lots of room between you & the curtain), an adjustable, aerated shower head and had fair water pressure. The a/c worked well. The wifi was good with a strong signal, good speeds (did fluctuate) and no disconnects. The included breakfast was fair & included waffles, cereal, pastries, toast, fruit, milk, coffee, tea & orange or apple juice. When checking in, they wanted to give me a room with 2 full beds instead of the king I reserved (a common occurrence in the plains states). I wish they understood giving a single person a room with 2 inferior beds is a downgrade. Noise was ok, but the guest upstairs was stomping on the floors all night long. Made sleeping hard. Called the office, but no answer. Next time, get an upstairs room.

OK hotel for one night

I stayed here on night #3 of a 10 day road trip. The man checking me in was super friendly. The hotel however was older. It wasn't in bad condition, just old. It was clean however and the bed was decent. I only stayed one night - not sure if I would stay again. It was clearly independently owned (which I am more willing to support) but some of the other hotel guests were questionable. It was ok for just one night, but for any longer of a stay I would go somewhere else. It was on the outskirts of town, which was good and the neighborhood was quiet. Continental breakfast was traditional muffins/coffee.

The hotel room was fine. The only thing I didn't like is the hotel clerk was rude. I asked for my receipt and he said I didn't need one, because it was prepaid. I told him that didn't matter, I still want a receipt. He reluctantly gave it to me. I have been noticing in my travels, the desk clerk is usually rude. What is with that? They need to check their manners.

We got to the motel and there was people everywhere with no where to park. I was worried to leave my car with how many college age kids were hanging around outside. We waited 20 min in line to get our room we had reserved. Got to our room and it was FREEZING in there. Went to bed with my heavy coat and a blanket I brought on top of the blankets on the bed. Didn't warm up until about 4:30 am. Will defiantly pay more at another hotel to have the comfort and heat for my next stay.

We have booked rooms at this motel for employees many times. However, this time was different. They had no record of our booking through hotels.com and after finally being able to check-in, we found the bed still unmade with the dirty linens still in a heap and the floor was filthy! The staff at the desk acted like it was no big deal but did finally change rooms for us. We will not book rooms here again! This motel changed ownership a couple of years ago. The former owner really cared about the place. It's not that way, anymore.

place needs updated and much better housekeeping!

Room had a bad odor and a lot of dead bugs and plenty of flies. The refrigerator was full size and remained running none stop causing the room temperature to spike overnight. The staff was friendly but had to wake them up for breakfast which was a joke at least there was a McDonald's next door. Overall it wasn't expensive to stay there but place was so outdated so you definitely get what you pay for.
