Also the fine dining option Rime needs some attention to food quality. The Brasserie and poolside offerings were on the money but the ‘fancy’ restaurant was below expectations.

A very special property. Definitely on par with what one would expect from a solid five-star hotel experience by any standard in any country. Unmatched beauty in setting, delicious dining options, over and above on convenience with regard to ski valet and chauffeur service around Park City. The property and the people bring magic to your stay and offer lots to enjoy for the entire family. Our children loved the smores at night, the fresh popcorn when returning from the slopes, the tiny hotel slippers left for them at turn down, and the absolute radiant kindness from all staff. They are running an elite hospitality program in terms of service and training. Please note that in the US we tip generously for this level of service so one should be prepared and have gratuity on hand at all times. For example, at the end of each day, we felt compelled to tip the ski valet team between $40-$50 for our family of four coming in and out all day. Having the Deer Valley Resort desk located in the building made managing lift tickets, booking ski school and private guides quick and convenient. As always I was appalled by the rudeness of one or two guests but found this resort to attract mostly quietly wealthy, friendly, ski-loving families. We will be returning again and again. Next time I hope to see the continued dedication to improving communication among staff regarding guest requests and maintaining current luxury standards with regard to standard amenities (please new hairdryers 😊).

St Regis is a fantastic global collection of hotels. The SR in Deer Valley must be judged in that light.
Most of the Hotel Staff were delightful people but many of them were less than “St Regis competent,” particularly the concierge team. I don’t think I’ve ever received so much misinformation from a 5-star concierge team in all my travels. I’ve written to both the GM and to St Regis’ CEO about it. It was like the Keystone Cops.
Whomever architected the hotel must have dropped acid beforehand. The flow and the convenience expressed in the floor plan is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. If this sort of thing bothers you, there are plenty of better options in DV.
Beds are an acid test for any hotel. If you can’t get a good night’s sleep, nothing else matters. The SR-DV beds in our room were not full queens and obviously had “vintage” mattresses. The hotel grudgingly gave us a refund of $50 per night, valuing our good sleep at $12 per person per night. The front desk manager tried to welsh on the deal upon departure. He was a real a***ole, the only one I met there. If I were the GM, I’d demote him back to trainee.
There are many great resort hotels in the Park City area. I’d encourage you to go to any of them but the St Regis.

This is a nice resort but I felt it was a little overpriced. Nothing wrong with it, but at this price point, it was disappointing that parts of the spa were broken/closed for maintenance (despite mandatory $50/day resort fee). The room was nice but the bathroom finishes and fixtures seemed a little but dated for such a high price — everything worked and was clean, but it is easy to be disappointed when the cost is so high compared to other available options in Park City. Nice to have smorea station and wine sabering rituals, but neither of those really seemed to make the price worthwhile either. Overall nice stay, but just not really worth being so expensive compared to a normal hotel.

If you are a morning person forget about a hot shower. You have to wait until enough people use hot water before it circulates through the system. Many items in the room didn’t work. We had to wait for an hour until we received our breakfast and the dining room wasn’t that busy. Overall, it’s not worth the cost to stay there.

I have stayed several times at the Saint Regis, and I have come back for good reasons! However, this was my least amenable experience at the hotel. I’m aware it was shoulder season, and both the amenities in the service seemed completely discordant. Essentially, it seemed as though many things have been forgotten… including us! Much of the staff didn’t even know that we were staying at the hotel. Fortunately, I encountered Mike the clubhouse manager by accident, and he was incredibly accommodating, even though he had no idea we were present in his wing of the hotel! The morning coffee bar was late both days and the desk staff did not seem to know proper information regarding seasonal amenities. All together it was strange the degree of disorganization at the hotel seemed to be in.

The service at this property does not at all match the price point. Certainly not what you would expect for such an expensive hotel. When we arrived, we had no idea how to get to the check in desk, and the Valet was of 0 help. I asked him if I should check in through the doors by him, he said yes. I go through those doors, no one in sight. I go back out, and he then proceeds to tell me I have to take the funicular up to the main resort on top of the mountain. Ummm, okay why didn't he explain that in the first place? At the pool, there is no signage to explain where the restrooms are. At the champagne tasting at 5:30, we arrived a few min late, and they didn't have any sparkling cider left as we do no drink. When we asked, they said sorry we ran out. They could run back and get more, but nope. The Spa was closed due to a \"leak.\" The make you pay $50/night for parking, which is ridiculous. The body wash was completely empty in the poolside bathroom, so I had to use the shampoo. The lotion dispenser wasn't working properly, so I had to unscrew the lid to use it. It also wasn't labeled lotion vs soap. Barely any vegan options at the restaurants, we went offsite to eat dinner. The hot water for the morning coffee/tea was lukewarm. The place looks nice and nice location to Skiing, but the pricepoint does not at all reflect the service. I get these are small things, but don't charge thousands/night if you can't offer exceptional 5 star service and fix the little things.

Very Disappointing
Wow, very dissatisfied with this hotel. I was excepting a much higher level or service and room quality. I had prearranged certain items to be in my room with the concierge via email days prior to arrival. These items were not in the room and I had to call after check-in. No apology from concierge.
Except to call at least two times for any service request (i.e bags delivered to room took two calls and wait over 1 hour, called Valet to retrieve car and waited 45 minutes with no car. Called again and was told, oh we will get it now)
Room not well maintained. Outlet near desk not working and this required lamp to be unplugged in order to use coffee maker. Door frame to patio broke (see pic), and shower wand in shower broke.
Not worth the money and not a 5 star hotel.

At basically every touchpoint, the service at the St. Regis Deer Valley was subpar. The exceptions were Rime Restaurant, ski services, and John the shuttle driver (he is a star). For the amount we paid and the classification of the hotel, my husband and I were extremely dissatisfied. Specific examples include:
- Cleanliness: Drinking glasses and trash were strewn about the property, common areas, and pools/hot tubs. I would expect this from a Holiday Inn, not a St. Regis.
- Spa: After paying $130 for a day pass for my husband and myself, all of the women's showers were out of order. I waited for 15 minutes for the shower to heat up, only for it to remain ice cold. Without so much as an apology, I was told they would have to call engineering. Had to cart all of my things upstairs to my room in a robe and then go BACK later to return the robe.
- Room Service: Housekeeping didn't replace drinking glasses and when I called for room service to replace them, they never showed
Needless to say, I canceled my upcoming trip to the St. Regis in Aspen. I'd rather book a 4-5 star hotel elsewhere. By comparison, the Montage in Deer Valley is superior. We won't be going back.

Fantastic! This is a 5-star experience in every way. Service, facilities, rooms, cleanliness... all were fantastic. You don't even have to leave the resort if you don't want to... the dining options are all fantastic. The French Bistro was our fave-- we ate there two nights in a row. The butler service was excellent -- morning coffee to your door is a treat! They do fun extras like hot chocolate and candy bars complimentary. It is SPECTACULAR around the holidays. We have stayed here twice and LOVE IT.

This is a lovely hotel. We visited in the off season so there was no snow or skiing. The hotel staff was friendly and warm. The food and drink were quality. The rooms very clean and comfortable.
We took full advantage of the shuttle to town every day. The town of Park city is adorable!

The St Regis is a high quality resort with excellent service and is remarkably dog friendly! There was a large wedding party happening on site during our stay which did make the situation a bit unusual and less ideal, but the staff are remarkably attentive!

This is a beautiful property in a fantastic location. Overall we liked the staff and physical beauty of the property. The two issues that impacted our feel of the property is with the comfort of the room and the housekeeping intrusions. We had a suite with a sitting room. The couch, chairs and all we straight upright with very little cushion. Perhaps some of the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever sat on. Looks nice just don’t use. On Sun because we had a spa treatment we set up a later checkout. Starting at 8:15 AM housekeeping kept entering the room. They did not knock or ring the doorbell and ignored the privacy light. Glad they didn’t find us in a compromising situation. Overall its nice but there are a couple others that are priced similar that we prefer.

Nobody told me at the reservation that to reach the property I had to take a funicolar. iI suffer of an handicap and I went wuth my service dog. there has been no way to let me go to the hotel with my car. there is the street that goes there but only the valet guy can go with my car. Ridiculous. I spoke with the hotel manager to make exception for handicapped people like me. NO WAY. SO IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY DONT GO TO THIS HOTEL

We did a mid week staycation at the St Regis after a power outage at our place. My husband was able to work from the room while my daughter and I played in the pool/hot tub and ran around town. Very comfortable hotel. Nightly s'mores on the terrace was a nice treat. We never heard a peep from surrounding rooms. Service was excellent. A lovely stay.

Generally a nice hotel in a beautiful area. If you’re used to 5 star service you’ll be disappointed. The food is also not at the 5 star level. Not even close, yet their prices are exceedingly high. Attitude of those who work there is poor, they are generally unhelpful, and seem to be annoyed by guests. Although this was my first visit to Park City, I am planning on returning 3-4 more times this year alone. I will stay at the Montage or Waldorf Astoria. The St Regis is not worth the price.

They obviously pay attention to details because this year when we checked in we did not tell them it was our anniversary, but they had saved it in their records so at dinner, the server brought out desserts congratulating us on our anniversary and comped the desserts for us. Spent our 25th wedding anniversary at St. Regis in Park City, UT. A Wonderful atmosphere and a professional and kind staff was there to greet us. With Covid, they still managed to keep things easy and light and had services like the pool and restaurants open to enjoy. We loved our stay and are looking forward to returning

We had such a good time at The St. Regis Deer Valley! We were able to relax and enjoy all the amenities especially the pool, spa, nearby hikes, and the fun games on the property. Also, the bed was incredibly comfortable! Didn't ever want to leave.

Overall a disappointment. It seemed like they were trying, but this just isn’t a five star hotel. The service was average at best. The gym made a big deal of having peloton bikes - 2 of the 3 were broken. It took at least 45 minutes for the valet to bring a car around. Just not a great experience

The worst part of the hotel is that there is really only one restaurant, and you have to take a fairly lengthy shuttle to get to another restaurant. I believe the size of the facility could for sure support at least two restaurants for some variety.

The resort is beautiful. Couple of issues: the pool was still under construction, so only half of it is open. It's not very inviting. The staff and J&G was horrible... we sat outside and repeatedly had to ask for service. The room was lovely, but there were some small tears in the sheets and my husband was bit by something. Ended up with 2 bites on his right ankle and 1 on his left.
