BAD: Our first full day we had jack hammering/construction beside and one floor down from our room. We could not enjoy our room from 8 to 5 because of the noise. Upon complaint, they were in no hurry to compensate. We had to speak to them 4 times and finally got a $100 credit at the end of the stay. NOTE: If you get breakfast included, make sure they take it off your bill at the end. They handed me a bill and then said \"oh yes, I will take that off right now.\" It felt really shady.

GOOD: The cleaning staff did a GREAT job in the rooms. The aquarium was wonderful.

We had always wanted to visit the Atlantis after having a brief experience whilst on a cruise years ago. We had friends who had given it rave reviews and wanted to experience it for ourselves. The resort lives up to the hype... and the cautions (very expensive!!). Armed with forehand knowledge, we were able to manage the costs (often had meals offsite) and had a remarkable time!

We had a blast an enjoyed everything about Atlantis! It was absolutely beautiful, we stayed in the Royal Tower and it is an older building but kept up with nicely. Our room was right over the turtle exhibit, with a water view, it was gorgeous! We enjoyed the pool (easy to get chairs even during peak time) and did a couple slides too (no kids, just us, mid 50’s), had fun!!! There is so much to do, we are already planning a trip back!!!

We love Atlantis and had an overall great stay. Little things that bothered me was that the kids crush disco was closed one day during the week - in spring break, with so many kids at the resort. Also, we had poseidon breakfast included in the room price but there was still every day an addition to the folio and I had to ask the staff to take it off. Hotel guests still behave antisocial and hog chairs at 8 am, throw their towels on them and then don't use them for hours. Staff should do something about that. And this time was the first time ever that people stole our fresh towels twice!

My family had an amazing time at Atlantis. The whole complex is top notch. The waterpark and pool areas were so much fun. We loved the ocean and snorkeling at Cove beach and Reef Beach. The casino was lively and the Royal itself has so much to do. The only thing that I will complain about is the food. Mediocre at best and way too expensive just not worth the heavy price. I wouldn’t mind paying if it was top notch food but just okay. The Overall experience was worth it just a beautiful Vacation.

We had an Ocean Front Imperial room with magnificent view. However the room did not have any full mirror and also the shower area was very small which we did not expect for a upscale room in Atlantis. The resort is full of activities and food options were nice and wide. Overall enjoyable.

The entire property was very clean and well-kept. We spent a lot of time in the casino at Bar Sol and Johnny was the best bartender we’ve ever had! Incredible drinks and amazing service. Overall we had a great experience and will absolutely be back.

Amenities are always great at the Atlantis, the casino, aquarium, rides, shops, all a good experience. Rooms at the royal are pretty outdated, very old rug, very old shower curtain, which made it kind of uncomfortable to shower, old bathroom in general. Service in general was good/average.

Overall, we had a good experience. We were prepared to pay high prices so that helped with the sticker shock! We were shocked at the number of families with multiple kids! But to be fair, the cost of the water slides and other adventures was included (we also had the daily breakfast buffet which were the best meals of our trip). Food in the Village was disappointing—just so-so. We were a party of 7 with 3 kids so we didn’t try the more expensive restaurants. We had a king bed in The Royal and found it spacious and met our needs (though a microwave would’ve been appreciated). We had a harbor view that was beautiful but no balcony to sit out and enjoy it. If you have never been, Atlantis is HUGE! Signage is generally good but there were a few times in the beginning that we had to backtrack to find our way. We are walkers, but we did see shuttles. We used Bahamas Experience to transport to and from the airport (group shuttle for 2 round trip was $115). Trip from the airport was fine but on the return trip, the shuttle was 35 minutes late which really stressed my husband out! It all worked out but who needs the stress? We have no desire to return.

We stayed in the Royal Tower (west) on the 17th floor with an ocean view. The view was amazing! Upon check-in, the staff was so kind, helpful and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful, aquariums amazing and the rooms and property were very clean.

Staff: They were hit and miss on whether they were kind and helpful. Our daily housekeeper was so kind and warm. We loved seeing her each morning. As for restaurant staff, I feel like the automatic 15% tip does not do anything for the customer. majority of the restaurant staff gave the impression they were annoyed you were there. Some staff were great, but the ones who made it very clear they were unhappy made our dining experiences vastly different. Especially when we spend on average $800 a day on food and beverage. It was expensive! Which we were prepared for. We ate at the finer dining places and ordered/drank what we want.

Waterpark: There was not one day we were there that all the slides were open. If you asked any of the attendants, they told us to find a manager because they don't know when the closed slides would be open. They were very annoyed when we asked.

Pools: These are very well kept, and we had no problem getting chairs each day. Yes, the front row was all taken, but we were always able to find chairs somewhere.

We had a little frustration that a significant percentage of the water slides at the Atlantis water park were closed when we were there in March. Be aware that food prices are about double what we would pay in the US mainland for food that mediocre

The only thing we did not like is that they have 1 outside hot tub for 14 pools, and 3 of the 9 days it was either not hot enough ( slight warm to cold) or the water level was so low and not hot and telling management did not do any good. When ever I complained I was told they would send someone but nobody came after repeated calls. Also at the Mayan Temple the Serpent Slide was down 4 days out of our 9 day stay and at the Power Tower almost everyday 2 of the 4 slides were closed. It seems to me if you have 8 adult slides why cant you keep them all up and working every day since we are paying $800 for a suite but only enjoying 5 out of 8 slides daily. I will say the mile long rapid ride was working everyday and was a real blast. The staff at the buffet was great as was most of the inside staff, however some of the outside staff would not look at you if you asked a question and seemed not interested in their job while others were fine.

Hello,

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your property and to request appropriate compensation for the issues I experienced with my reservation.
I had specifically booked a room with two queen beds to accommodate myself and my two sons. Upon arrival, I was initially given a room with only one bed. After bringing this to your staff’s attention, I was reassigned to a different room in another tower. Unfortunately, upon entering that room, we discovered that the carpet was wet, making it unsuitable for use.
I then had to return مرة again to the front desk, where I was reassigned back to the original room with only one bed. As a result, one of my sons was forced to sleep on a rollaway bed. This was not the experience I expected, especially considering the amount I paid for our stay and the importance of this family vacation.
Seeing my son sleep uncomfortably on a rollaway bed was both unacceptable and disheartening. I believe this situation warrants compensation, as the accommodations provided did not match what was originally booked and paid for.
I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and a fair resolution regarding compensation for the inconvenience and diminished experience.
Thank you for your time and understanding. I look forward to your response.

Beautiful. The Royal was great in that it was closest to the water park. My kids actually enjoyed spending some time at the coral pool and overall I actually enjoyed the vibe there a little more. Staff was always helpful although I was a little surprised at how “grumpy” some of them came off as. We ate at a few places; Carmines, Shake shack, the buffet, Plato’s, Bimini road, and the Deli. We all ended up with stomach issues particularly after carmine’s and Bimini. 1-5 I say food was a 2 at best and costs an arm and a leg. I understand the concept of importing but still the price felt extreme. The mini golf would have been fun but even that was $40 per person! I can’t imagine any justifiable reason for that.

All that being said, we had a blast and it was beautiful. We will be back, albeit better equipped and prepared next time.

Food and beverage prices are excessively high—high enough to make customers feel overcharged. The staff also come across as quite cold; when you ask for something, they often respond without even making eye contact. That said, this isn’t limited to the hotel staff—it reflects a broader impression of the Bahamas overall. Other than that, everything was great.

3/26/26 Beds and pillows are absolutely terrible, however rooms were extremely clean and ocean front is spacious. Some days pools were heated, other days were not. Staff: some were nice, most seemed miserable. Bartenders were upbeat and fun at the pool. Food: excellent. Variety of Bahama culture and American. Pools are small but plenty of chairs. Beach incredibly nice. Inside halls, restaurants, common area is so cold- make sure you have a sweater. Resturaunts very hard to get in to - but the buffet was delicious, you’ll be just fine for dinner.

The hotel is overrated for the cost. The pool and room require an upgrade. Room.had AC issues where the room would not cool to desired temp, TV issues no streaming services, bathroom spacious but tub was old and need a remodel. Maintenance work door to our room with loud noise, ice machine not working on serveral floors. The price was just ridiculous understand it is not an all-inclusive resort. But to pay for example $9 for a Celsius drink that is normally $2.50... absolutely not. This was a hosting hotel for the wine and food festival which is the reason we stay here but would recommend the festival just find a another resort to stay. Dont believe the hype, the pools and water park is underwhelming.

The property has a lot to offer for everyone and is a lot of fun! My only complaint is a lack of staff at the water slides. We went during March Break - peak season and there is no excuse for not having a full staff in the adventure park. Each day 1/2 of the slides were closed at any time. This was not for maintenance but because of staff rotation because of a general lack of staff. So if you are attracted to this resort for the slides, you need to be there for a number of days to catch when your favourite is open. The resort needs to staff up during high season. Cruise ship passengers buy day passes and with so many closed slides there are long lines. Just something to take into consideration when booking.

Hmm we stayed a week at the reef and the condition of the rooms were far better. Upon checking we tried to extend our stay and the man in front did it but then a manager storms out from back and says she will not honor it. Kinda glad she didn’t. The rooms sucked. The tubs are peeling. The pipes were leaking. The toilet had huge puddle outside of it. They never changed the bed sheets nor did they help. Anytime we had issue the clear wouldn’t even respond to what we were saying. The reef was a far superior hotel and just overall staff.

Atlantis is a mature property and very much in need of renovations. Staff was excellent in every department. The Bahamas are over built at this time and over priced by all people I’ve spoken with.

Food, I like good food but, you will be hard pressed to find a very good meal. Be warned do-not eat at NABU the high end seafood restaurant we know in the US is an abomination of overpriced tasteless offerings. 3 strikes and their OUT!

Weather this time of the year is spectacular! Low humidity and blue skies.

Royal is the oldest of all properties, youngsters running up and down the halls in the middle of the night. Reservations are not family friendly, required to eat between 5-7pm often there are no reservations at this time. The proeprty was grimy and the resort charged for everything it felt like a scam. The pools and the beach are wonderful. However, there were a few disappointing points:
- Difficulty making restaurant reservations
I believe there are not enough restaurants operating relative to the number of guests. It was extremely difficult to get a reservation between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.
- High food and beverage prices
Mineral water is not complimentary, so you have to purchase it, and it cost $9. There are free water dispensers, but the water tastes bad. In general, the restaurants are expensive. I traveled from New York, and my impression is that prices are about 20% higher than in New York.
- Staff were not very friendly
A 15% service charge is included from the start, but despite this, the staff were not particularly friendly.
- Aging room facilities
The shower water pressure was weak.

Everything was amazing. Staff were very friendly. Any questions or concerns you had, they were there to help you on the spot. The room was always clean. I went in early February so it was a little chilly, but the sun was always shining, and never any rain. Food was amazing everywhere, especially down by the marina. But things were very expensive. That was the only downside. It’s a beautiful place and a beautiful place for a family vacation. Just be prepared to spend a few extra dollars.

I wish someone from Atlantis had advised us before our stay that extensive construction was planned for the outside face of our rooms balcony. For days, crews on a huge scissor lift were 4-5 stories in the air against the balcony of our room jackhammering pieces of the exterior panels on the building to make repairs. If you spend all day in the water park then it’s no big deal but one of our kids was sick so we spend days listening to that nonsense while he was trying to sleep and recover. Front desk had no interest in reassigning a different room or providing any sort of credit for the noise.

I booked my stay via Expedia, the flights tickets were assigned in group 8-9 both ways. The worst part was we didn't have check in bags but by the time they call out group 8, we were forced to check in ours carry ons.
Now about the hotel... we were on the 16th floor of the west tower. The hotel is OLD, constructions going around everywhere. Some of the most iconic rides were closed for our whole stay. We ordered in room dining at 7pm and it came at 10 with absolutely no salt in food & they didn't even give us salt & pepper on side. The coffee machine didn't work in the room for the whole stay. The bathrooms doors were broken and couldn't be locked. They refused to provide extra pillows on our first night. The TV didn't work for the whole stay. There was a bathroom leak nextdoor and it took them 14hrs to check, by that time our room's carpet was completely drenched. The customer service sucks & honestly they don't care. This was my 1st & last time visiting the so called \"Royal Atlantis\"

Staff was fantastic!! Helpful friendly . A special thanks tou Darrell! Pool’s beautiful, beach was gorgeous but hard to find a chair . Room was clean . Food varied and excellent quality
