I have stayed at The Grace many times. A lovely boutique hotel with the best shower pressure. However, my room, although very clean, was showing several signs of age and was in need of serious refreshing.

It was a struggle to open the kitchenette cupboards, the fridge didn't work, no plates, mismatched cutlery. In the bathroom, stains on the walls, missing plaster and grout and items hanging off the wall.

It was a shame to see a hotel that I love looking quite tired.

The place is very cute, and with an amazing location, steps away from a hotspot full of amazing restaurants and coffee shops. Safe area.
That being said, the building is 4-5 floors and there is no elevator, so it’s hard to go to the last floor carrying luggage, also take in mind that the staff has to go up everytime you ask for something like towels.

I stayed here for about 3 weeks whilst attending a Spanish language school nearby. This is a great place to stay when visiting Bogota . It is a boutique hotel where breakfast is made fresh from order and the rooms also have bathroom and cooking facilities with fridge . Staff are superfriendly and helpful . My room had some technical issues with the stove, tv, safe and locks initially but these were promptly replaced and addressed within a couple of days, afterwards all worked fantastic . I am more than happy to return to this hotel in the future, when I next visit Bogota .

Great deal for the money but it has its small flaws. Even though it is only 4 stories it does not have an elevator so if you have heavy suitcases be warned as the staircase is windy. Breakfast is served in your room or 2nd floor terrace where there are tables only. Neither option was very good....breakfast was average at best. They should do a buffet style downstairs (get rid of the couches) and it would be much much better for everybody where you can have eggs to order and unlimited fruit, coffee,and juice. Rooms were so much nicer than I expected - comfy beds and the shower might be the best in Bogota with a ton of water pressure and hot water. Wifi was good. Location is great on a very quiet street and a very quick walk to all the restaurants, coffee shops, and more in Zona G. For the money I would stay here over name brand hotels.

El apartamento tiene un amplio baño y una cocina con todo lo necesario. Está ubicado en un área cercana a restaurantes, por lo que puedes ir caminando. Gran estancia en general. Lugar seguro y muy tranquilo durante todo el día. Encantadora ubicación a poca distancia de las zonas turísticas de Bogotá, museos, Plaza Bolívar, Montaña Monserrate, Centro Comerciales, parques, y numerosos restaurantes, tiendas de comestibles y otras comodidades. El edificio es acogedor. Incluía 4 opciones de desayuno tanto internacional como local. El personal y la recepción son súper agradables y receptivos. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos de nuestra estancia. Era moderno, limpio y bien ubicado. Para los que gustan de viajar ligero poseen servicio de lavandería a domicilio muy económico y accesible. I love the staff and the rooms are spacious and comfy, unfortunately I found underwear in the closet drawer days later I did my check out but I had to check in again later that day as I missed my flight. I occupied the same room as they still had it available and for my surprise they didn’t change the bed covers that had stains from my previous stay. :( COVID protocols were not followed as the previous person would have to sleep in the same covers I used.

Underwhelming and an inconvenient.

Uber and Google maps cannot find the location so it became inconvenient. None of the staff spoke any English. Nice but could not answer basic questions. Room was traditional sparse Euro style but it had no counter space in bathroom and a half sink. For a woman it would be a nightmare.

Nice boutique type hotel. An older apartment building converted into a hotel with nice staff and good breakfast. Close to Zona G in Rosales or Chapinero barrio leaves plenty of eating options on high end or budget meals. Also there are kitchenettes in the room if you desire to cook something.

Bogota’s boutique gem hotel

Tiny hotel at the dead end of the street - centrally located, easily accessible with 24 hours lobby service.
Very quiet, breakfast to order service, covered terrace ( have your breakfast there or coffee or a smoke), clean and cleverly designed rooms with fun art/pictures in the rooms and halls.
This was my second stay there and I am sure, not the last one either.
However - no elevators or lots of English for anyone in need of these.

Had a very nice stay at The Grace. It’s a small hotel but very nice and modern. The concept is built around photography and some art which is very pleasant. It is tucked away off a small street very near the financial district. Very safe area with restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the daily breakfast room service is a huge plus. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the place.

Friendly staff and incredible showers. Unfortunately, during my trip I was woken up at 8am by drilling and hammering from room refurbishments and had a leaking toilet and sink in my room. It was eventually fixed but having notified staff immediately it would have been more ideal to have been fixed then and there or to have been moved.

The Grace is a fantastic spot to stay, a short walk to all the restaurants in Zona G. The room was modern, the bed large and comfy, and breakfast in bed was an awesome way to start the day! Hats off to the management and friendly staff.

Uncomfortable - Paper Thin Walls

My stay at The Grace Hotel in Bogota was not comfortable. I stayed in an Apartment room with a shared terrace. The positives: The staff were excellent and very friendly. The shower had great pressure. They deliver breakfast to your room. The shared terrace had a nice view of the mountain. Negatives: The walls are paper-thin. It seems this hotel was originally a house that's been converted cheaply. I could literally hear the couple next door word-for-word. I heard them talking about their trip to europe, arguing over what to order for breakfast. I heard the female guest ask her bf for water in the middle of the night. Because of that I could never relax. Access to the hotel is through the garage where a staff member has to buzz you in everytime. It felt like I was being monitored when I came and went. There is no lift and I stayed on the 5th floor. Also the stairs to the bed are very unsafe (steep with a shaky hand rail).
I would not stay here again. I feel bad because the staff were lovely though.

Overall, very good stay. My only complaints were that my room was not the same as the description/pictures I had carefully selected online and that dealing with the change in altitude, it was difficult dragging my luggage up 4 flights of stairs on day 1, but I knew there was no elevator based on reviews. Overall the staff and breakfast made up for this!

Lousy \"hotel\".

First, this is NOT a hotel. This IS a very cramped 16 room guesthouse. The owner/manager speaks NO English. The staff, few, speak very poor English. This causes so many problems. The breakfast is not a buffet. It off menu of four very meager choices. And it left me hungry. The bathroom was, the whole thing, measured 10 x 4. My worst experience ever in four continents. Oh, and I found the owner disgustingly imperious and condescending. Horrible woman.

We were initially put in a very small room, which wasn't very functional. Definitely opt for the larger 1 Bed apartment. I needed to work while I was here, and the desk and chair were helpful. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great.

The room was very modern and stylish. Bed was huge and extremely comfortable. We were only staying for 1 night so did not make use of the kitchen facilities in the room : fridge and microwave, however a kettle would be useful. Bathroom very clean and modern, with a hot shower. Breakfast can be ordered and delivered to the room, there are 4 options and the two we had were tasty. Really amazing value for money.

Seems better than it really is

1. The location is good with nice restaurants and businesses around. It is easy to get to and from the hotel.
2. Most of the staff is welcoming and nice, especially Daniela and the cleaning ladies.
3. There is no elevator, that was very uncomfortable for us. If you plan to stay more than 3 days it will end up being really tiring.
4. There are no valets to help you with your luggage, that added to the fact of no elevator makes arriving and leaving very uncomfortable.
5. We stayed in a room on the fifth floor, it was a duplex which seemed like a good idea but the bed is on the top floor and you have to go down everytime you need to go to the bathroom.
6. To use the bathroom you need to go down the most dangerous and absurd stairs they built, I would not recommend staying in those rooms with young children.
7. The bathroom is pretty but poorly designed, you can't take a shower without getting the entire bathroom wet.

BUT the only thing is they don't have an elevator but it is only 4 floors so it wasn't that hard to carry luggage. I would stay here again, loved it

Extraordinary staff, design lacking

When people say that it is hard to find, they weren't lying. It would be helpful if the staff were acquiented with surrounding area: we called from half a block a way referencing the Ibero and Notaria #5 and the staff didn't know where that was! Service is amazing! They make you breakfast and being to your room. The area is quiet, the rooms are nice but disappointing in terms of how badly they were disigned: they had a low hanging lamp right on top of the bed. We hit it a bunch of times. Totally bizarre. And the sink is beaitiful and modern but not designed to be functional.

This hotel was extremely well located, close to restaurants and the Andino shopping center fir nights out. Half way between Andino and La Candllara, the old part of Bogotá. The hotel is great and in oefect condition. The breakfast was ok, no more, but fresh. Great home made juices. But the staff forgets to supply the rom wi fresh towels, soap and toilet paper. Besides thus, i would recommend, nit exoensive for the value.

Great Stay at Grace Hotel!

We had a great time. The rooms were modern and comfortable. The staff was very cordial and accommodating. It felt like home away from home with perks like breakfast in bed. The location is right next to a main avenue (7th) and between the high-end north-side of the city and the bustling city center. It's walking distance to the \"Zona G\" (for gourmet) that has some of the best restaurants in the city.

Nice modern hotel. Staff were accommodating even with the language barrier. Nothing wrong with the hotel. Some Spanish helps when dealing with the staff. The concierge did call a taxi to take us to the airport which turned out to be a unfortunate incident where the driver tried to charge 10 times the going rate. Not the hotel's fault but be aware.

All in all, we loved the hotel. It's in a great neighborhood & the design is super-modern and interesting. The breakfast is excellent too. Only complaint is that our first room was on the ground floor and was very loud (there's no soundproofing). Once we switched rooms, everything was fine.

I thought this was a great hotel. I was a bit concerned about safety in Bogota and this was a great solution. (Though in truth safety was not bad at all) It is far enough from downtown and close enough to the zona rosa. Also, taxis are inexpensive, so you are only a $7 taxi ride from everything and $14 from the airport.

Only disappointments were small. Walls were thin and occasionally you heard people. Breakfast was eggs and bread, every day, rather boring. They could include more services easily, like a small bar or snacks etc.

All in all I thought the Grace was great and would stay again.

Hidden gem of a boutique hotel

Fantastic little hotel hidden in northern Bogota near La Zona G. From the clean, modern rooms to the beautifully manicured courtyards, this hotel is a luxurious gem at a budget price. Rooms are outfitted with crisp, clean sheets, piles of pillows, beautiful artwork, and the best hotel showers I've experienced anywhere-- let alone Colombia, which often runs short on hot water. Breakfasts are sumptuous and filling with your choice of eggs (I recommend scrambled with cheese and ham), fruit, toast, and coffee, cocoa, or tea. The location, while a little tough to find, is an easy walk from the fabulous restaurants and shopping in Rosales and Chapinero as well as the bustling Septima. A little Spanish will get you far, as hotel staff doesn't speak much English, but everyone is extremely helpful and understanding in spite of the language barrier.

O hotel era em uma localização boa, mas um pouco afastado dos pontos turísticos, mas isso não foi nenhum problema.
Ponto negativo, é a falta de elevadores, café da manhã muito básico.
O quarto é amplo e muito funcional, tem frigobar, fogão e cama grande.
Senti falta de panos de pratos para enxugar as louças e um tapete no banheiro banheiro para não molhar o quarto.
O staff em geral é muito simpático, foi possível efetuar o check in antes do horário, isso foi algo maravilhoso pq estava exausta da viagem.

Fomos informados na hora quando chegamos ao hotel, que o quarto estava com um problema de água, e que iríamos para uma outra unidade do hotel the grace, isso já era mais de meia noite e não pagaram esse nosso novo deslocamento. A outra unidade do hotel ficava em região bem feia, totalmente diferente da onde tinha reservado a primeira. Porém o o quarto era bom, atendimento muito bom e bem solícitos.
