The location was wonderful and this was our favorite lodging on our trip. We had some moose and a fox walk right past the porch and amazing views of the water. It was so peaceful. The check-in couldn't have been easier and very friendly staff. If we make it back to Alaska we will definitely stay here again!

Must visit place. It’s a comfortable place to stay with a good view. The rooms are cozy and are well equipped with an oven, plastic bowls/spoons/aluminium foils. There is free coffee service available as well. If there is any change I would recommend to the place would be to clear up the common area in the front beside the river so we can enjoy the river and mountain view. Currently there are no seats with the direct view to the mountain

My brother and I had an excellent time at this location! The room was clean, private, and had great views. The location is absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend this site. Our one night stay here was a highlight from our Alaska trip.

This is an amazing place to stay. The employees are so sweet and welcoming. It was absolutely beautiful with the river flowing next to the property. We could see Mt. McKinley from the backyard!!!

This property was very nice. The room was spacious and clean and had nice amenities in the room. There is no TV, but the shared space in the lobby was very well appointed. The lodge is right on the river and is a beautiful and serene setting.

Really nice lodge basically right on the river. Even though we were in the main lodge and one might expect some noise in a shared building, it was incredibly peaceful with the only sound being that of the river. We stayed in Suite 2 with a loft and it was very spacious for four people, with a great view of the river, private bathroom, and decent cookspace with dishes. While there is no TV in the room, the wifi worked for us to play streaming video, and there were plenty of board games in the main lobby to enjoy. Great place to stay if you are looking for a spot in Talkeetna!

We stayed one night in the main floor suite on our way to a place by Denali park. Very roomy and comfortable. Beautiful setting with the river just a hundred feet or so from the room. We wished we had spent all 4 of our nights here - the park is about 90 minutes away and an easy drive. Plenty to do around Talkeetna and though pretty rustic the area has plenty of dining options. Front desk closes at 5 so this is not a full service hotel but we thought it was great. Very well maintained. Limited groceries in the area - a small market with liquor, snacks and some groceries. So bring food if you expect to cook your meals.

This property is a gem. Right outside Talkeetna, private quiet and on the water. Beds were comfortable, rooms immaculate and with everything you need to enjoy the stay. Stayed in suite 2 - upper loft with two twin beds and queen bed in main area. Good for families or couple. Would rebook here if return.

It was just an overnight trip to see and take a northern lights workshop. Went with 2 friends it was a very comfy, homey lodge, clean and comfy. Will definitely recommend it to my friends. It was right on a river and would love to go back in the summer for a visit.

We stayed in Lodge Suite 3, at first we had believed we had booked a cabin and when we showed up and found it was in the main lodge we were a little skeptical. After having getting our stuff up to the room and getting ourselves settled we realized that this suite being part of the lodge would not affect our stay at all! The walls are thick and we’ll insulated so the sounds are kept out of the room leading to a nice cozy and quiet atmosphere that we came to love! The windows facing over the river gave us a beautiful view to throw the blinds open to when relaxing in the room, and the plethora of lights let us choose just how bright to keep it as the day progressed. Overall an amazing experience; friendly and informative staff, cozy atmosphere, comfy bed, and useful amenities all came together to give us a stay that I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Talkeetna area!
