The Lamp Hotel is a lovely friendly hotel conveniently located an easy 10 min walk from both the station and the bus terminal.

The hotel is an adult hotel and not allowing teenagers to use pool and gym.. ı have booked the trip for Easter holiday for my child and paid extremely high price for just sitting in the hotel room .. -7 degree, snowing weather..
So hotel must clarify the status as adult hotel and should not sell the room for families without notifying.. there were no notice about this policy about the hotel while booking..

Nice surprise in downtown Norrköping
The hotel was a nice surprise when we stayed for one night in April. The hotel is in a cluster of buildings around a central courtyard, whick means that accessing the rooms might require negotiating winding corridors on several levels and stairways, but elevators are present between levels. The room, although tiny, was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful. Paid parking was available across the street from the hotel.

The breakfast was amazing and our upgrade to high standard beds Carpe Diem iwas soooo worth the cost! A cosy and beautiful hotel and next time we will have dinner at the restaurant! Looking forward to next time. The balcony was unfortunatelyc a bit small in size

Our room looked so good! Right out of a interior decorator magazine! The TV was a bit small if you care about that sort of thing but we didn't even use it so no complaint from us. Luxury bath supplies and both robes and slippers were thick and so cozy!
The rest of the hotel looked really good ! Clean and beautiful. We also read that some people complained of noice but we didn't hear the night club or the trams. The air-conditioning worked really good. Only time we heard some noice and people was when we opened the window.

Bökigt med rum i en separat byggnad på andra sidan gatan. Rummet mycket fint men stark belysning i ett p-garage utanför fönstret samt högljudd ventilation störde. Skrivbordet var allt för högt för att kunna användas till datorarbete. Rummet sakande krokar. Sammantaget kändes det som man missat detaljerna och mest tänkt på ytan. Frukosten var god men absolut inte hög klass. Att spa kostar över 800kr extra en måndag kväll är också konstigt. Som affärsresenär önskade jag bara besöka Max en timme och hade önskad alternativ för kortare tid/lägre pris. Gymmet var mycket bra och välutrustat och personalen trevlig.

Sedan ett antal år tillbaka firar jag min födelsedag genom att checka in på The Lamp Hotel för två nätter. Den nedtonade, men genuina känslan av lyx, den fantastiska personalen och det överjordiskt fina, men underjordiska spa’t är helt enastående.

Vi bodde i ett familjerum, 2 vuxna och 2 små barn. När vi kom till rummet var det svalt och skönt, men vi vaknade mitt i natten - barn och vuxna - av att det va 25 grader i rummet. Kul att försöka söva om barn kl 01 av värmeslag…
Hotellet har inte AC utan centralt fläktsystem, men den hade slutat fungera mitt i natten. Hotellet fixade en fläkt men detta måste varit ett känt problem och inget de meddelade vid incheckning. Fläkten hjälpte inget för att få ner temperaturen och hela familjen sov dåligt. Ingen kompensation erbjöds alls för detta fel. Urdåligt.
