Extremely helpful staff. The room was large , clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was very good. Plenty of free parking. We decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and we were not disappointed. The meal was fantastic! The property around the hotel is lovely. Worth taking a stroll. Highly recommend this hotel!

Pulled thought great nice big hotel. Receptionist was very curt, told us no restaurant tonight, wow great just arrived after a long journey, now have to go find a restaurant open. Room very big and spacious, beds comfy as well. A little disappointed no water in rooms and no coffee/ tea making facilities, with there being no bar etc, you could die of thirst and no minibar either. Very strange. At £160 a night I would have expected that x

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Waldhotel Luise. Das Ambiente war sehr schön. Das Haus wurde renoviert und ist sehr gepflegt. Wir haben in einem Deluxe Doppelzimmer übernachtet. Das Zimmer war sehr schlicht (evt. noch nicht fertig) eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Kurz nach der Anreise stellten wir jedoch fest, dass das Zimmer extrem aufgeheizt und stickig war. Das Problem ist dem Personal bekannt, jedoch ist es scheinbar nicht nötig den Gast darauf aufmerksam zu machen und zumindest die Option auf ein anderes Zimmer anzubieten. Somit war ein angenehmer Schlaf nicht möglich. Schade!

Amazing travel stop
We needed a travel stop between Frankfurt and Zurich and this was an amazing find for our group. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel has a very lodge-like cozy feel. Rooms are large, extremely clean and have the most comfortable beds, linens and softest bath towels we've had along our journey.
Restaurant is a little pricey, but quantity and quality make it worth it. Pool and sauna area were a hit with our group including our friend's 4 year old. The only issue we had is that we only had time to stay here for one evening, we wish we could have stayed longer.

Vom Check-In bis zum Check-Out hat alles gepasst. Sehr schön und ruhig gelegen ca. 20 Minuten über einen direkten Fussweg vom Marktplatz von Freudenstadt entfernt. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten vor Ort, Hotel sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail, alles super sauber, sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück. Sauna und Innenpool vorhanden mit Ruheraum. Möglichkeit zum Essen vor Ort, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Essen top und sehr schön serviert.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal im Waldhotel Luise und haben besonders die Lage, den Service, den Pool und das Frühstück genossen.

Leider ein enttäuschendes Erlebnis beim Frühstück. Obwohl der Saal fast leer war, wurde ich (alleinreisend) von einer Mitarbeiterin recht forsch angewiesen, nicht an einem Dreiertisch zu sitzen. Kurz darauf wurde ein Pärchen freundlich an einen größeren Tisch gebeten – inklusive Kaffee-Service, obwohl eigentlich Selbstbedienung war.
Als ich das an der Rezeption ansprach, hieß es nur, es sei eine „persönliche Empfindungssache“ – und dass es noch nie Beschwerden über die Kollegin gegeben habe und das Gespräch wirkte eher abweisend als interessiert.
In einem zufällig entstandenen Gespräch mit anderen Gästen zeigte sich jedoch, dass auch sie unzufrieden mit dem Personal waren. Ganz so subjektiv scheint mein Eindruck also doch nicht gewesen zu sein.
Schade – man wünscht sich als Gast mehr Wertschätzung und einheitlichen, freundlichen Umgang und so fühlt man sich als Gast nicht wirklich willkommen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im Waldhotel Luise. Das Zimmer hatte eine schöne Größe, das Bad ebenso. Der Restaurantbereich mit Terrasse und Lounge sind sehr geschmackvoll in einer Kombination aus modern und landestypisch eingerichtet. Den Wellnessbereich haben wir sehr gern genutzt, war ebenso sehr ansprechend. Wir werden sicher noch einmal das Hotel buchen.

Was man wissen sollte: trotz bester und teuerster Kategorie (Juniorsuite), Lage nicht optimal, Zimmer liegen sehr nah an der gut befahrenen Straße! Da es keine Klimaanlage gibt, war das Schlafen bei offenen Fenstern sehr, sehr laut…das hätten wir bei einem Waldhotel nicht erwartet…dafür war die Juniorsuite sehr geräumig, sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet.
2. Kaffeemaschine wäre beim morgendlichen Andrang zu empfehlen! Dafür Kaffee sehr gut ;-)

Wir sind zum 3. Mal da gewesen und wie immer eine schöne Zeit gehabt! Die Lage der Hotelanlage ist sehr bezaubernd und die Mitarbeiter, welche man schon persönlich kennt, sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant hat uns mit einem guten Menü, mit regionalen und interessanten Gerichten sehr gut gefallen. Das Schwimmbad und die Sauna waren sehr gute Abwechslung, sauber und angenehm.
