When we arrived, we had a pleasant welcome, went to the room, it was tatty, all mismatched outdated furniture, paint on the bathroom floor, toilet seat wouldn't stay open ( This was sorted swiftly once reported). Room was very warm and only 2 small windows to open. The bed was very, very low, comfy, but tricky to get out of. Being on the seafront, we had to shut the windows as it was so noisy, that didn't make any difference, outside noise was very loud until gone midnight. What finished off an awful stay was a guest banging and kicking on a bedroom door at 4am in the morning and the occupant shouting at them for a good 30 minutes. When leaving in the morning, 2 people were sleeping in the foyer. All in all, worst stay we have ever had in skeggy, I would say you get what you pay for, however cheap it was it still was too much. Would 100% not recommend.
