It was a nice resort. I do have a couple complaints. The building we stayed in was the farthest from everything and no elevator we were in the third floor. It sucked carrying all our luggage up the stairs and going up and down several times a day. The the restaurants you couldn’t make reservations and we had a big party of 16 people even if you wanted to make a reservation for four you had to get in line at 5:30. That is early, especially since we had to wait two hours that could’ve been two hours we could’ve spent at the pool. Most nights we ended up eating at the buffet because of that reason. The buffet was just OK.

My only 2 issues were the fact that the villas don't have elevators(only one apparently). Having to walk up and down 63 stairs multiple times a day was very hard on the old knees(plus we had 3 seniors with us which was wven harder on them). And the second was the wifi. It was TERRIBLE. If you are traveling with a group it is difficult. It kept kicking us off the network every hour so we couldn't find our group a lot of times. It was incredibly frustrating.
Other than that, property was beautiful, food was great, drinks were great and the weather could not have been better.

We have stayed at other Riu resorts in the past and this was the first disappointing visit by far. The property has no elevators and we were given a room in the farthest part of the resort which was a trek all in itself. The buffet and restaurant choices were sub standard as was the alcohol being served. This would be a good resort for Spring breakers, but hard pass if you just want to relax and enjoy the amenities. We ended up leaving the next morning and booking another property through Expedia.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained and the rooms are nice. Beds are a little hard. The RIU Parties were a blast for both young and old. Enjoyed our time around the pools and met lots of nice people from all over. Try the water slides, not just for kids. This was my second stay and will probably go again.

My friends and I visited for my 30th birthday and it was the best decision I ever made.

The staff were very welcoming and sweet. We got a drink at the reception while we waited for our check-in. We got to our hotel room but I would advice you to stay on the ground floor or first floor cause there’s a lot of stairs going up to the second floor lol but we sure got our workout in lol.

We went to the La Iguana swim up bar and Misael and Yahir our bartenders were super good and right on time with our drinks so I encourage you go there and ask for them.

The day parties we attended which were the pink party and neon was super super good. We had so muuuuch fun.

The rooms were super clean and we had a mini bar as well .

The food were alright it was so many options but there wasn’t enough seasoning so bring your own seasoning lol.

Overall it was a great stay and I’ll recommend anyone visiting Cabo to stay out here for sure.

Only problem was limited selection of wines or champagne or Prosecco. Great if you like lots of mixed drinks but not so much if wine is your preferred drink.

Our stay at Hotel Riu Santa Fe in Los Cabos, BC, México was great. There are many food options.There are several swimming pools. There is a party pool for those who like that. There is a discotheque at this hotel property. Be prepared to pay about $80.00 USD for a taxi from airport to hotel property. It is about 50 minutes from the airport to the hotel property. Every employee we encountered was very helpful, courteous and pleasant. Please note that there no elevators at this hotel property. During our check-in we were asked if we had issues using stairs and since we did not we were placed on the third level. They were willing to place us on the first floor if we did. We look forward to staying at this hotel property once again. I recommend traveling here AFTER Spring Break and Easter to avoid crowds and long lines. I truly enjoy staying at Riu hotel properties!

I usually stay at the Palace and now I know why. There were too many 20-30 year olds partying for spring break. I was a bit disappointed there were no drink servers at the pools. The gym each day was extremely hot and overcrowded. There were no available machines. There were too many people at all times everywhere.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were great, and the property was exceptionally clean and in excellent condition. We also appreciated that it’s possible to stay removed from the party areas and enjoy a more relaxed vacation.
One small note, the room doors could be a bit quieter. Additionally, there’s some room for improvement in the themed restaurants, particularly in terms of food quality and service.

First things first, this hotel is NOT adults only.
Various pool around the hotel, the best COLD ones were by the volleyball area. The infinity ones overlooking the beach had very hot water.
Entertainment staff were the best, very friendly and engaging. Food wise.. Horrible buffet style.
I was under the impression there were dinner restaurants and there was a waitlist just to find out it was buffet style. Some waiters were not the greatest as we would have to ask several times to be refilled with water.

We had a leaky shower and the water was spilling onto the tile floor. We submitted a ticket and it was kind of fixed but not fully. Slip hazard for a pregnant woman. Rooms were very clean. Food is eh, but what can you expect from such a huge resort. Would come back though!

Had an excellent time! It was my 2nd time there. Went with my husband and a bunch of friends. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Property is beautiful, staff are so great and work so hard. I sat on the coffee table in my room, which appeared to be made of low-cost pressboard, and it broke under normal use. There were no visible signs or notices indicating that the table was not intended to be sat on. I understand that accidents can happen; however, I was subsequently charged $241.00 USD for a table that appears to have a significantly lower replacement value.

I felt the charge was disproportionate to the item involved, and I was informed that I needed to pay the amount before being able to leave the resort. This situation was concerning, especially as I have since learned that other guests have reported similar experiences under comparable circumstances.

I would appreciate a fair review of this charge and a reconsideration of the amount in light of the circumstances.

Overall, we had a good stay at Riu Santa Fe. The staff was friendly, and the water park was super fun, definitely a highlight for us. The shows were good, MJ, Rock Still Alive and the Mexican one, were very good.
My main concern was the atmosphere created by the pool parties. While I support people having fun, it sometimes felt uncomfortable having that same party crowd mixed into family areas, especially during dinner. On a few occasions, the dress code didn’t seem to be enforced, which affected the dining experience.
That said, we loved Cabo San Lucas and would most likely return. With a bit more attention to maintaining a consistent dress code and separating party and family environments, the experience could be even better.

Over all experience was great, a lot of activities to do, multiple pools and bars. Distance between destinations was a bit long but manageable, resort is very big not crowded. breakfast and dinner were great but lunch, Not so much. By day 3 I was over the repetitive food options. Also only 2 types of beers included, dos x and a light beer-brand name unknown. On the 3rd day I got food poisoning. Ruin my final day and travel time was horrible.

Always asked for more water in room. Had to buy water from hotel store and they charged me $35 Canadian for 2 bottles. Blankets in room had stains. House cleaning never replaced coffee or soaps in shower (ran out on day 6 of 7). Guaranteed someone pukes every other day in one of the 3 swim up bars. Food could have been better. Restaurant and bar staff were awesome. Most likely won’t go back UNLESS it’s a really really good deal.

Honestly, this resort took me by absolute surprise. From the beginning it was clean, everyone was so friendly, the buffet food and poolside tacos were really good and it was close by to the tours and activities we had planned. We were here for my sisters bachelorette weekend and the housekeeping staff ended up leaving a bottle of champagne in our room for us which was such a nice touch. There is no shortage of pool space for every age group and the views of the ocean are absolutely stunning. 10/10 would come back again and highly recommend!

The pool was nice, there were many different pools from kids pool, adult pool, and waterslides as well as a pool that overlooks the ocean. Was very beautiful. The grounds and the maintenance they do to keep it beautiful is astonishing. We had a great couples massage at the spa which was probably one of the best I have had. The food was good they can improve on different varieties rather than the same thing everyday, but still good. On my vacation I did however injure myself and no ambulance was called. I did suffer a concussion and possible face fracture waitin on my results. That part they may want to work on since I was past the point of sober. I feel their staff could have done more to assist me. All and all the resort was great. I do not blame staff for the incident, I just wish they would have called an ambulance to have me seen right after. Insurance or not( which I did have). Still have 4 stars because it was great there and I would go back again.

The lady at check in didn't provide us any information. Not friendly at all. Got charged a fee at check in and another fee at check out which they said was tax. We had other friends with us and they didn't get charged the check out tax so not sure if we got scammed or the check in lady messed up. Either way not cool. We had two kids with us and got put in the furthest villa possible. 9000 top floor very end unit which was 60 steps up no elevator. Room was clean and the cleaners in the resort work really hard. However there were other people who said they had bed bugs in their room. We did not see any in ours. However we will be making sure to sanitize our bags and clothing wje. We get home. Water bottle and mini bar was easy to ask for through the Riu app. The cleaning staff is definitely the hardest working people at that place. And the most friendly. I tipped many of the bathroom cleaners and the ones who have to carry the water bottles and mini bar stock up all those stairs with no elevators... Would be nice to have an option on the app to pre book dinner times. Other all inclusive we have stayed at in the past and the way they do it at this place was super annoying and made no sense. The buffet was not great. Flies over everything. Nothing looked appealing. Steak house over rated. Italian, American and the Asian were pretty decent however if you could get in..rave to security cleaning staff were the best part of the resort. The rest we could do without.

No hot water in the shower and water turned off on me at one point. The pizza food area was not open at the time/day it was scheduled to be and staff did not know why. The best food was the tiki taco bar. The drink bar and room staff were very nice and helpful. Loved the views from our room and the pool parties were a lot of fun. Best part of our stay. Over all we had lots of fun and enjoyed our stay but next time we would make sure to stay at the adults only resort, RIU paradise. RIU Santa Fe is more for families.

Overall, U get what u pay for. I was very dissatisfied with the bed. The bed was SPRING! and felt completely worn out.
My check out process was horrible we waited 1 hour for the bell boy to get our luggage and we still got charged late check out fee! Which was unacceptable despite it not being our fault! We went with our children, the television worked only when it wanted to,as it buffered so much!

We enjoyed the property a lot! Had lots of fun, there's many large pools that never felt too overcrowded (mind you we went during a college spring break). Staff is friendly and helpful and overall we had a truly pleasant experience. We loved our stay and would consider staying here again. Also BIG PLUS that everything is included including the mini-bar in the room! Food is also pretty decent for a resort. I deff recommend the property and its amenities to other families, couples, and adults.

Our check in lady was so rude to us so it was a bad start but after that everyone had been lovely. We were there for a wedding so we don’t normally do all inclusives so we did leave quite a bit and it’s very expensive they try and gauge you at every turn. But Cabo is the rich playground so what can you expect. The place was tidy, it seemed like ppl were always cleaning something. The liquor is very watered down so when we went off resort one marg did it for us. The food was ok nothing to write home about, not much flavour but we didn’t get food poisoning so that’s a plus! Overall I don’t think I’d go back, I did feel very old there (I’m 32) so lots of rounding partying around.

Riu Santa Fe in Cabo exceeded our expectations. Everything was absolutely amazing!!!
Staff, cleanliness, great food and drinks all day long and variety of food( very healthy, fresh and absolutely delicious).
Pools were clean and professional staff always available and ready to help.

Tons of different activities throughout the day, parties and shows in the afternoon/evening.

I would highly recommend this resort to anyone from families to bachelorette’s parties to weddings or just relax.
Everyone will find something good in this resort.
