Our stay at the Royal Corin Hotel was absolutely incredible and exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding hospitality that made us feel truly valued as guests.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views of Arenal Volcano and impeccably maintained grounds. Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Costa Rica. The thermal pools were a highlight of our stay. They were peaceful, well-kept, and the perfect way to unwind while enjoying the breathtaking scenery.

The staff went above and beyond throughout our visit. Every team member was friendly, attentive, and eager to help with recommendations and arrangements. The dining experience was equally impressive, with delicious food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere.

What truly made Royal Corin special was the combination of luxury, relaxation, and authentic Costa Rican hospitality. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, creating a memorable experience that we will cherish for years to come.

We travel often and it’s great when you stay at a property that not only gets it right, but excels in every category. This is the Royal Corin hotel. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff handled our check-in with precision and was so welcoming. They handled all the Expedia perks (bottle of wine, room upgrade and welcome drink) and were so nice every time we saw them during our stay. The service at the restaurants and bars is amazing and be sure to say “hi” to Francisco and Tatiana at the pool bar while enjoying the multiple pools and jacuzzi’s! The 5th floor restaurant was really good and we had a good time with the staff. Daily breakfast- nice with the same friendly service you find throughout the hotel. This is a boutique property with an awesome staff. Why stay anywhere else??

Great experience. Located about 10 minutes from town. Clean, staff were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. Hot springs were beautiful. Views of volcano were great, also good for bird watching.
We were treated to some extra perks, bottle of wine, fruit plate and a birthday dessert. Several restaurants in the resort we enjoyed them both.

The hotel was beautiful…both inside and out. At night it looked even prettier. My husband was turning 65 so there was a handwritten note in room, along with desserts and wine. The staff always wore a smile. The buffet breakfast was delicious and I never got tired of eating it the 3 days we were there. Located 10 minutes from downtown Fortuna, where there are tons of souvenir shops, some restaurants and ice cream. Since I am a burger and fry girl , I had to try a burger from Costa Rica. Restaurante La Fortuneno (recommended by hotel staff) had the most amazing burger and ambiance. Even though we were in a beautiful rainforest and explored, the hotel quality mattered. Rainy weather can leave you feeling blah, so Royal Corin neutralized that feeling.

We loved the staff especially Dehbar. The food was spectacular! The pools were ok, not all of them were working. We had an issue with our sliding glass door not locking. We also had an issue with reservations. The person we were speaking with was unreasonable and unaccommodating. We were overcharged double and not refunded.

The property itself was amazing the food also was amazing. The Spa was superb. Rooms were clean daily if requested. Staff was gracious and friendly. I will definitely recommend this resort. The views and the thermal springs were a sight to see. My only concern were the roads getting there from the airport. Make sure you make reservations to be picked up by the resort staff. Roads not easy to navigate for the average driver. It was an amazing Vacation.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was amazing—it says Continental Breakfast but it’s a full blown buffet with great food and fresh juices. Ceviche for dinner was the best I’ve had.
Only negatives were the jets in the shower in the room didn’t work well and some of the hot tubs were either hotter or colder than what was listed. Service in 5th floor restaurant was not great but food was pretty good.
Absolutely recommend staying here!

The view of the volcano (when not cloudy) and the restaurant on the top floor are both quite nice. Here are a couple reasons we didn’t love it: the hot springs are basically a couple jacuzzis coated with a black plaster, the sauna wasn’t steamy or hot enough, the gym needed a reservation and wasn’t available before our early departure, you can’t walk anywhere from here and the staff interactions were a little forced. We also stayed at the Hotel Los Del Volcán just down the road in a private villa at 1/2 the price; we expected the Royal Corin to be a step up but it felt like a step down. Maybe there’s a premium for the Corin being adults only and being owned by the Hilton?

Poor quality property, staff are truly unhelpful including the managers. The room we took was a king volcano mountain view room, the room had no in room slippers not even one. We had to make a request. The room did not have a single towel in the bathroom. We made a request and it took multiple calls and 45mins before the towels were delivered. The place really needs some attention to detail as I wasn’t convinced it was ready for the guest to occupy the room and no one wanted to take responsibility or apologise for their poor service

Staff went above and beyond at every interaction, especially Deyber at the front desk. Cancelled some of our excursions to relax more at the Thermal spa. Wish the steam room had been actually steaming, as it was more so just a warm room. Everything else was just fantastic, including poolside meals and the Lava Restaurant.

We had a wonderful week at the Royal Corin. Even though we arrived at 3:30am in the morning, we were greeted by a friendly hostess with fresh juice and hand towels and oriented to the hotel. We found it to be beautifully appointed and maintained, clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The thermal pools were fantastic. We spent hours there each day. (Note that they are emptied, cleaned and refilled each night.) There is active care and maintenance happening daily. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful- going out of their way to be sure we had what we needed. The breakfast buffet was varied, ample and delicious. We had so many options and ate like kings! The onsite restaurants and menus were also of very good quality. We did not plan much in advance but found it very easy to find local excursions and transportation (Uber is easy and affordable) within 30 min of the hotel. We loved everything about our trip to Costa Rica and hope to return. Pura vida!

The star was amazing and very kind and anything you needed you got right away! My Spanish was poor and I apologize and even then it didn't matter. There was one instance I came back from the hot spring and needed a towel, I didn't even say anything and someone I believe Dorian I think his name was came out of nowhere to give me a towel. This report is amazing! Breakfast was included every morning and it was a delicious HUGS buffet with a variety of different things to choose from. The other dining options on the property had amazing food as well. The best part of the stay was the staff! Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. We were easily able to schedule a variety of different tours in the area through the hotel. All around an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
