My room was in the 2nd building and not the original main hotel. I expected better for a premium king room. The water pressure was horrible. I could have taken a better shower using a garden hose. There was not a mini fridge present in the room. For the price, there are better choices available especially if you don't mind a casino hotel. I actually decided to check out early and cut a day off my trip. Pros: Room was clean and smelled of new carpet and paint. I

I’ve stayed here more than a couple of times and it’s always nice. The staff is always awesome-especially at the bar. I wish there was a way to alert guests when there’s a wedding. I just happen to be there during weddings on two separate trips and couldn’t find parking. As a guest, I would love to not have to park in the tall grass across the street.

Bathroom was ok but again really no place to put anything. There was no vanity/countertop on there..so that was disappointing considering the hotel lobby was exceptional.
The bar concession was out of certain alcoholic choices which was hard to fathom considering it was a bar on a heavy casino area. So the room size and no places to accommodate travel items was disappointing especially considered the price they charge for the rooms per stay.

The first room I was given was not so great, and the toilet was gross. The front desk staff immediately gave me a different room, and they were very professional. The soap dish in the second room had a chip on the soap tray in the bathroom. That is easy enough to avoid, The hotel was beautiful, and I will be staying here again.

Complaint was made about excessive noise in rm above ours and nothing was done. This was reported several nights when noise was excessive past 10pm and went on to early morning hours. We rec'd no relaxation in evenings when in rm or very little sleep. Most staff was very nice and friendly but staff at desk where complaint reported se eral nights felt they had no authority or responsibility to handle. IF Ireported to mgr he too did nothing.

I expected this hotel to be in better condition. It appears to have been grand at one time, but is dated and in a state of disrepair. The room was lacking in amenities, sparce furnishings and overall just mediocre. There is a newer building that may be better so I suggest you request staying there.

I booked a Gulf-view room, but the room I was given had maybe 10% view of the Gulf and 90% trees in the front property. Also after coming back from our dinner while getting ready to take a shower, my wife discovered a used bar of soap still on the floor of the shower. The shower stall itself was also pretty gross with mold on the grout throughout. This is totally unacceptable. Just glad that we only stayed one night, and couldn’t wait to check out the next morning. Definitely won’t be back.
