We stayed in the Premier Room (Caldera view) for 3 nights at the beginning of our stay in Greece. Yanis picked us up and did a great job. He was at the airport, and carried our bags (2x50 lb) up the stairs to our room. He went over the details we needed about the room. We had our order for breakfast, which we left in the box at the office door that evening. Our room had its own private balcony with 2 seats and a beautiful view. We walked to Fira to dinner two of the nights. The hotel is on the walking path, so it was easy for us to hike to Oia and take the bus back (2 E) to Fira and then walk back to Firostefani. The hotel was very convenient, and did not have a lot of steps (some of the hotels are down many stairs). The morning we left, it was too early to get breakfast. If I had it to do over, I'd order double the day before leaving, and have the food in the refrigerator until the morning we left. But there was a bakery next to the entrance to the airport. There was a REALLY LONG line to check in for the flight, so I walked next door for pastries while my husband stayed in line. I would highly recommend this hotel. Mina, at the desk, was also very helpful and kind!

Hotel Mylos was wonderful. Great location-walking distance to Fira but far enough away so the crowds are not overwhelming. Views were AMAZING. We spent two of our nights on the private veranda watching the sunset. The area was mostly quiet with just a little music drifting over from the next door restaurant. The staff was incredible-Klaire and Mina were so helpful. There was an initial issue with the AC and they did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. It was fixed and they even graciously provided us a fabulous bottle of wine for the inconvenience. They had good suggestions and arranged transportation to the port for us. They also held our luggage on our last day after check out. The staff made you feel like family. The room was comfortable with a fridge, clothes line and table/chairs/loungers on the patio. The bathroom could use more hooks and better lighting. Breakfast was simple and delicious and delivered to your room at the time you choose. The area and room were clean and daily housekeeping was a big bonus! Highly recommend and will stay again if ever back!

This was the perfect location and price point for us. We like to walk, don’t like the cruise ship tourists and love to sit in the evenings and enjoy the view! This hotel gave us that. The breakfast was handy and allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view while having breakfast each morning. Its location is at the top of the caldera so we didn’t have to walk our luggage down stairs. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. She booked us a fabulous catamaran tour where we swam in the volcano warmed water and watched the beautiful sunset. It is right on the walking path to Oia (2 hrs) and Fira (10mins). We took the bus from the airport for 2.59 euros to Fira. So easy!

This hotel came highly recommended, and we’re glad we chose to stay here. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to the main Firostefani square. Since it’s at street level, you avoid the hassle of climbing multiple flight of stairs, unlike many other Caldera-facing hotels across the island.

There are several fantastic restaurants nearby, including our favorite, Aktion, all within a 2-3 minute walk.

We stayed in the superior deluxe room, which featured a spacious, private balcony overlooking the Caldera—and that was the highlight of our stay. While the room itself was simple, the breathtaking views from the balcony made it unforgettable.

Breakfast was a basic continental spread—nothing fancy, but it suited me fine since I don’t usually eat a big breakfast.

The staff were courteous and friendly, and we had no complaints. I would strongly recommend this hotel!

Room was excellent. Clean and comfortable with an amazing view.
The bathroom was a little bit on the small side- definitely needs an extra shelf and more hooks to hang more than one towel. Other than that, the service was absolutely excellent. We even had some classical music drift over from the restaurant next door, but not loud enough to disturb the tranquility. There’s a busy path next to the hotel but you can’t hear it at all from the room.
Air conditioning works wonders, and turns on only when the door to the balcony is closed- quite clever.
Breakfast was lovely- they brought it to our balcony. Bread, jams, butter, honey, yoghurts and selection of cereals. (Must buy own non-dairy milk if you need though, but there’s a fridge so it’s very handy). Hairdryer and soaps also provided.
Finally, the staff Suela and Anna were spectacular and helpful. Overall, phenomenal!

This hotel is in a fantastic location in Firostefani, close to restaurants and shops and a 15 minute walk along the cliff to Fira, it is a wonderful walk. The views over the caldera are amazing. We had breakfast overlooking the caldera. The lasy at the reception was super helpful with information and booking a taxi and transfer from the port and to the airport.

This hotel is great! If you want a hotel with an ocean view, but without the hundreds of steps up or down, this is it. It’s very convenient to restaurants and stores. The main bus stop is very close by. The hotel staff is very friendly and let us check in a little bit early and upon check out, watched our bags for a few hours for free. The hotel staff negotiated with a taxi company to pick up our group of 6 to and from the airport for a reasonable price. Walking up to a taxi company we were quoted 20 or $30 more. Definitely recommend and will visit again in the future.

I loved everything about my stay here. My room (102) had amazing views over the caldera. It was spotlessly clean too. A lovely breakfast was served at your table on a shared balcony, again with amazing views.
Xristina, the hostess for my stay was welcoming and friendly, answering any questions and more than happy to arrange taxis or trips for me.
When I return to the island I would love to stay here again!

The views from the room and balcony were amazing. People were going to expensive restaurants for the exact same view. Xristina at the desk was very nice and helpful when we had to communicate with a pre-arranged tour. Having continental breakfast on the balcony delivered on our schedule was great. Minor nits -- bathroom is small, hard to avoid getting floor wet while showering, and the only place to put soap while showering was to move soap dish to toilet.

We only stayed for a night because we used a nearby hotel for the rest of the nights (Smaro Studio), so we could compare. I think our room was nice and clean, but we liked simple things from the other hotel like offering water and fruits at arrival. Our room was right beside a restaurants, so it was a bit noisy at night, but nothing unpleasant. Overall we had a good experience. Panos was very friendly and helpful to resolve our requests.

The hotel to go to on Santorini

The proprietor, Panus, could not have been more helpful. He responded proactively, and with good humour to all our requests, e.g. printing out maps and bus timetables, providing towels when we went swimming, offering help to carry our cases to the pick-up point for the return transfer and also to help when the pickup was late. He would be helpful for booking trips, if they weren’t already booked.

The breakfast was a continental and more than adequate, with choices including: fruit juices; tea, coffee, etc; cereals and muesli; cake, bread, butter, cheese and turkey slices, jam.

The accommodation comprised a double bedroom with air-conditioning, and a bathroom with shower. The room was cleaned, and the towels were changed daily.

The pickup point (Saint Gerasimos Church, Firostephani) for the hotel is about 100 yards away, on footpaths. This pick up point was used for our arrival/departure, for day trips and for the (very) local bus. Buses (only) run from/to Fira to the main towns on the island.

Last minute booking because we changed accommodation, but Panos was very friendly and helpful in helping us with our bags from the nearby car park, checking us in and showing us the room. He also helped with offering late checkout, which we accepted until 12.

Great quaint hotel. Close by to the centre but far away from the noise. Incredible views of the caldera. It was the perfect spot and the staff were so accomodating and nice. Fabulous views, truly stunning. Try to avoid room 103, it is too small to be comfortable. No room to open a suitcase except on the floor at the end of the bed, which made accessing the closet, fridge and desk hugely challenging. Room 102, the other room used by my family, was just fine and with a breathtaking view from it’s window.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Mylos in May. It was a very good choice. Location was just outside Fira so quieter but still has tons of great restaurants right near by. About 15 minutes walk into Fira. The hotel is actually right next to the 3 bells and the famous blue dome you see in photos. It’s worth paying a little extra for the caldera view as you get your breakfast served on the balcony overlooking it....spectacular! You also get the sunset that is so famous. At check in, they give you a breakfast menu where you decide what you want and when...they bring it to you on schedule on you balcony. I felt spoiled! The room was clean and the bed was a comfortable king size. This does make the room a bit small but we managed fine. The bathroom was good but no plugs.....there is one right outside the bathroom door. They give you shampoo and soap and body wash but no conditioner or face towels so if you need it, bring it. The fridge was great and they also supply you with some dishes and cutlery and glasses which was very useful. The service was excellent and the owner very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi worked just fine as well. We would totally stay their again.

Room was a bit too basic for comfort (only one small closet with hanging racks, without shelves) - clothes had to be kept in the suitcase. We also expected more from breakfast - every day same basic selection of butter, jam, cheese and salami. No other options and especially no Greek food.

We definitely made the right choice with Hotel Mylos. Well situated in Firostefani. The room was spacious for three people, beds confortable, breakfast was very good and served on the terrasse every morning. The view from our terrasse was spectacular. I would go back anytime!

Compact room with large shared balcony with wonderful views. Hotel reception is provided by downstairs mini-mart. Hotel is an easy walk from a large parking bay and fronts the main pedestrian path close to local shops, bars and dining. We organised transfer via the hotel and were met and helped with luggage. Cold breakfast was provided to balcony; yoghurt, fruit, bread, ham, cheese, cake and tea or coffee. While simple, breakfast was fresh and tasty.

More like a cheap motel

TINY crammed room with barely any room to move around. Had there been 2 of us, there would not have been room for 2 suitcases. Nobody greeted me to carry my bags to my room despite being told to expect someone. Bathroom was adequate with decent showerhead but extremely narrow stall with a shower curtain that clung to my body every time I showered no matter how much I tried to peel it off. Room had a small fridge, some plates and utensils but nowhere and nothing to wash dishes with. There was no balcony like in the photos (not sure where those photos were taken!) Instead there was a shared terrace which was really the outdoor \"hallway\" connecting the rooms. Hotel is in the middle of town, I had to close the bathroom window AND door for privacy and quiet as there was a noisy restaurant right outside where I could hear loud conversation and laughter until the wee hours of the morning. Breakfast is minimal at best although room was cleaned every day. I paid 134 Euros/day whereas couple next door with the same room paid 80 Euros/day. I was ripped off royally. Avoid this hotel and get something nicer! Santorini is grossly overrated and overpriced but I'm sure I could find much better elsewhere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mylos Hotel The view from the caldera side was spectacular. Having breakfast served every morning on the terrasse got every day off to a great start. The room was spacious and had a large, comfortable couch. It's location was a 15min walk along a picturesque path to Fira which was extremely busy whereas Firestafani is much quieter. Lots of restaurants nearby. Bus stop right there. Easy access to most parts of the island with it. Reception staff were quite helpful. Take their shuttle service (20 eur), it saves a lot of hastle.

Great boutique hotel in an ideal location

Hotel comes better than advertised. I was a little worried that the pictures wouldn't do it justice but the Hotel Mylos is better than expected. The views are breathtaking and the morning breakfast was a nice addition. We would recommend and would return!

Dream spot in Santorini

This hotel provide an deal view from the outside back terrace on the whole Santorini Western Bay and it is a dream spot for sunset watchers. The rooms are comfortable for short visits of 4 days or less. The served breakfast is to be avoided. Some great restaurants at walking distance. Large moving crowds in a square nearby specially at sunset.

Excellent view and great value

This hotel was amongst the cheapest we found with views of the caldera. The owner was very sweet and helpful. The room was beautiful minus the strong cleaning smells we had to air out substantially. Breakfast was delicious. The restaurants in the immediate area were phenomenal.

Great View

First time in Santorini. Hotel is great for the price with a nice view of Caldera, and free breakfast.

Just a tip when using the GPS to look for all the hotels in the island: GPS is helpful bringing you to the general location of the hotel where you could also find parking around the area but for the specific location you would have to call the hotel so they can send their staff to help you with luggages. Parking might be 200+ feet away from the hotel going uphill/downhill.

Amazing view on a budget

I looked real hard to find a room with a view in Santorini that does not break the bank! This was it!! I was lucky to have found Mylos Hotel. We stayed in the Premier Room with private terrace with the most amazing view of the caldera. The room is no luxury but very well-kept, clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is to add a shower curtain to the shower! Other than that, the room and the service are amazing. We travelled with a young child and the owners put a playpen in our room. Breakfast is served on the terrace. I definitely recommend this hotel. Location is also great, easy to get to from the main square were the bus stops and about 10-15 walk to Fira. Also lots of nice restaurants in the area.

Fantastic location and lovely staff

We loved our stay at hotel Mylos, the location was perfect for us - 10-15 walk to Fira so your close enough without Being too close (if you want to avoid the masses)! But there are restaurants and corner stores all around so it was convenient for meals even if you don't walk into Fira itself. Would stay again!

Hotel Mylos and it's amazing Views

Stayed 3 nights on the upper balcony with my girlfriend. The views are amazing. The sunset is almost better than Oia from the hotel and is way less crowded and stressful. The breakfasts in the morning were outstanding and was great service as it was brought right outside your room to watch the ocean side in the morning as you eat. Only negative was that our toilet stopped working, but it was fixed by the time we got back at the end of the day from our excursion. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to the main town Fira. Would definitely recommend based on price paid and the amazing views.

We loved the Mylos Hotel in Mykonos!

This boutique, privately run 'pension' style B&B has great views, comfy rooms, is reasonably priced & is in an excellent position just a short walk from town with private balconies for sunset viewing. Scenes to die for - even from the breakfast room! Proprietor Helena made us feel very welcome & was most helpful. We'd go back tomorrow if we could!
