I think everything was amazing in this lodge! The cottage that I was had refrigerator, microwave, airfryer, dishes and everything for you to cook by yourself and make your own food (which I think marvelous!). The bed was absolutely comfortable and the location was perfect! near the crocodile river and among many wild animals around.

Make sure you book Swize for the safari, he is the friendliest and most knowledgeable guide.

One of the highlights of our trip to SA

The experience we had at the Crocodile Kruger Safari lodge is one my wife and I will never forget. We initially wanted to stay in the park, however because everything was booked we decided to try this out. The staff was amazing, including Johan, Harris and Solomon, our safari guide. So friendly and so accommodating. We weren't sure what to expect, but are so happy we made this decision. The food was also very good, some of the best we had during our 2 week trip in the country. The safari was incredible, especially due to the knowledge of our tour guide Solomon. We were 2 for 2 in seeing the big 5 and despite being outside of Kruger, we were literally across the river and could see elephants, zebra and kudu from our balcony. Only a ten minute drive to the main gate to the park. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone going to Kruger National Park. As mentioned it was an experience we will never forget.

Great place - shame about the tobacco smoke

This would have warranted five stars if it hadn't been for the tobacco smoke! Guests are allowed to smoke on the first floor bar terrace and the prevailing breeze means the smoke permeates all the public area. Fortunately rooms don't suffer. Dinner was served on the river terrace with a log fire brazier for warmth - wonderful. Except that some guests smoked between courses which spoilt the meal. Good food. Wanted to go into Kruger NP at 6 the next morning so they gave me a breakfast pack - really nice

Great service and location right outside of Kruger

Our stay at the Crocodile Kruger Safari Lodge was lovely. I only wish we were staying longer. The staff were extremely helpful - they met us at the door to check-in, provided alternate directions to avoid traffic heading to the airport, accommodated our last minute request for dinner at the resort, and woke up early to pack us a to-go breakfast before we left. We stayed in the luxury room with balcony which had a great view of the property and into the Kruger park across the river. Though we arrived after sunset and couldn't fully enjoy the view, you could see the river and Kruger Park from the balcony and other guests reported seeing elephant. All-in-all I would definitely recommend as a place to stay outside of Kruger Park (about 30 mins. outside Crocodile Gate)

Lodge was very difficult to find and access. Very poor road and little to no signage. 3 out of 4 air conditioners in room did not work. Support staff awesome, head staff, not so much.

They try very hard

Really nice people that try very hard but its a bit like trying to turn a cabbage leaf into a gourmet meal. Its fairly conveniently located to the Kruger Parks Croc Bridge gate. don't know what you would do there for more than a night though.

The lodge is an ok distance from the KNP. We stayed in a chalet with 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and outdoor braai area, and upper level deck for relaxing and viewing the river. Overall it was comfortable, however the roads there are poor and flood in heavy rain. The chalet had multiple sliding glass doors, each with a gate. Every door and gate had its own key; and all the keys were on one key ring, and none were labeled. The main door was difficult to slide. 6 adults would be very comfortable, plus there was space for a couple of younger ones. WiFi really did not exist, but cell reception was good and the internet could be accessed by one's own cellular device. Meal service at the lodge required 48 hr. notice, however there are a couple of restaurants nearby with nice menus and normal prices. It was great having animals roaming about which included zebras, giraffes, warthogs, and wildebeest. We were 4 adults, and that was a good value. For 6 adults, it would be a great value. The service was friendly, and I would definitely stay there again, if we were a group of 6.

We spent a very good time there. Very quiet and relaxing. A place in close contact with nature and peaceful environment. Personnel very efficient, helpful and discrete. Jacques and his team did his best to make us comfortable and feel at home. Good value for what you pay.

Very comfortable with good amenities. Me a my wife stopped over on route to Mozambique. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was wholesome. You can sit on the upper deck with a drink and watch the sunset while elephants grazing on the river bank. A few small improvements would take it from good to great.

Only stayed here one night, but had a very nice time. The whole establishment is very well run and in great condition. Room was great, with comfortable bed, balcony, and spacious bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were terrific. Only main downside is that the location is a bit off the beaten track down a series of dirt roads - although that adds to the charm

A \"safari\" lodge

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with a few girlfriends for our safari in Kruger Park. It's very conveniently located, although a tad hard to find. Our rental car GPS told us to drive past the boarder into Mozambique!
Their dinner was quite pricy and just ok.
Their hotel organized \"game drive\" was AWESOME and the driver/guide was AMAZING!
We stayed in the self-catering unit which was HUGE! It had adequate accommodations but a tad outdated. The windows didn't close all the way and the light for the bathroom was behind a pocket door which jammed all the time meaning you couldn't always turn on/off the bathroom light.
The pool is not heated, which you don't really need in the middle of summer but wasn't very clean.
The staff were all very pleasant and eager to help.

Would stay there again!

We had an amazing stay! The staff was so kind and friendly. We stayed two nights and did a full day game drive. The staff arranged for our game drive and since we left super early in the morning, they provided us with breakfast in a cooler bag. Dinner was amazing as well and the view from the balcony is beyond! Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to stay just outside the park (about 30 minutes to Crocodile Bridge Entrance).

Hotel limpo e organizado. Funcionários atenciosos e simpáticos durante toda estadia. O Crocodile Kruger é parecido com estilo de pousada, assim como todos na região. São pouquíssimos quartos, algo como 05 a 08 quartos, mas com comodidade, atenção e um bom serviço oferecido aos hóspedes. O café da manhã e o jantar estavam inclusos no valor do quarto e gostei bastante da comida.

Hotel bom, mas tranque sua mala com cadeados!

O hotel fica situado em uma area de uma reserva, bem em frente ao Kruger Park. Se estiver de carro alugado e GPS nao tera problemas para chegar. O hotel é muito bonito, rustico e agradavel. Tem uma piscina boa com vista para o parque. A area de cima tem um deck para tambem ver o parque enquanto toma uma bebida. Os quartos sao grandes e espaçosos. O jantar assim como o cafe da manha sao bons. Nao precisa pagar estacionamento. O preço das bebidas é justo para o local. A internet nao funciona bem, e a energia eletrica caiu diversas vezes deixando sem luz, mas esse é um problema geral na regiao.
O atendimento é muito bom e personalizado. Porem, se desejar ficar nesse hotel, deixo uma dica importante. Deixe sua mala sempre trancada com cadeado. Chegamos e logo ja fomos para o jantar, deixei a mala aberta (é um hotel pequeno, acredito que 6 quartos). Como estavamos jantando dentro do hotel, nao acreditei que alguem iria entrar no quarto, mas sim, entraram com o motivo de fechar as cortinas do quarto enquanto jantavamos e durante esse momento, abriram a mala e procuraram onde estava o dinheiro (acredite, estava bem escondido dentro de um bolso interno) e depois disso sumiu 100 euros da minha carteira.
Apesar disso, recomendo o hotel, mas tenha em mente deixar trancado a mala com seus pertences e dinheiro 100% do tempo que nao estiver no quarto.Ja tinha lido uma outra avaliaçao com o mesmo problema no hotel. Enviei um email a gerencia notificando o ocorrido tambem, sem respostas.

Un 5 stelle meritate! Struttura adiacente al Parco Kruger sulla Crocodile River, ricca di coccodrilli (che non abbiamo visto) e serpenti (quelli si che ne abbiamo visti!). Personale gentile e cordiale coordinato da un manager super, attento a tutto!
Cena e colazione ottima... L'unico punto debole è il WiFi per chi anziché godersi la pace e il silenzio del posto deve comunicare con il mondo.
Un esperienza veramente ottima!

Service, som för en kung!

Jag avslutade min vistelse genom att bo en natt på Crocodile Bridge Kruger Safari Lodge.

Jag var där under lågsäsong och fick service värd en kunglighet under min vistelse. 3-4 personer som verkligen bara hade mig att ta hand om, troligen då inga andra gäster fanns. Ingenting var omöjligt. Middag ordnades efter personliga önskemål, och man packade tillochmed matlåda för en av mina turer in till nationalparken.

Det som drar ned betyget är Marloth park! Området där hotellet ligger är kanske under uppbyggnad, men då jag var där var det extremt svårt att hitta fram till hotellet. OM ni bokar här skall ni se till att komma fram i dagsljus, då vägar och skyltning är undermålig. Marloth Park är en safaripark i sig och det finns mycket vilt inne på området. Om man vill till Krugerparken ligger Crocodile Gate ca 20 min bort med bil.

Neutraler Empfang, superfreundliches Personal.
Der eine Ranger spricht gut und gerne der andere fährt schnell und schweigsam durch den Park bei Preisen wie in 5Sterne Lodge. Zimmer mit Superblick aber stinkendes Minibad ohne Wifi, Tel, TV und Entgegenkommen bei Zeitengpässen.frühstück dauert ewig.Erst fehlt der Kaffee, dann Gläser, dann Butter und Marmelade ...auch mit Lächeln schwer zu ertragen! Hilfe vom Chef nicht erkennbar.

サファリの種類やお薦めのものを質問し事前にメールで何度か連絡を取り、バス停へのピックアップ（有料）等希望を全て叶えて頂き快適で安心出来るステイでした。コテージ風の５ベッド３ベッドルーム、３バスルーム・キッチン・リビング・ベランダ付きの広くて清潔で快適なコテージを利用しました。パーフェクトです。食事の予約をし忘れていたのですが直ぐに対応してくれました。郵便局やスーパーにも寄ってくれてとても親切です。値段もサービスや設備の割に高くは無く、スタッフの対応もとても良く、また是非利用したいです。普通の部屋はベランダはありますが余り広くありませんので私はコテージをお勧めします。マルロス自然保護区内にあるので、食事の際にはシマウマやイノシシが間際まで来て食事をしたり、クロコダイルリバーの目の前なので、わざわざサファリに行かなくても水を飲みに来る動物を沢山見ることができます（気長に待つ必要がありますがライオンも来るそうです）。

schöne individuelle Lodge nahe dem Krüger National

Eine Safari-Lodge wie aus dem Bilderbuch, toller Ausblick von der Terrasse über den Crocodile-River Richtung Krüger Nationalpark, wo wir die Elefanten beim abendlichen Spaziergang beobachten konnten. Sehr individuell, da wenige Zimmer. Umsichtige Betreuung und Beratung.

Traumurlaub trotz Schwächen

Die Lage der Lodge im Marloth Park mit dem Blick auf den Crocodile River ist fantastisch. Bereits zum Frühstück und am späten Nachmittag sieht man Elefanten, Impalas, Hipos usw.
Auch vom Zimmer Nr.5 hat man Sicht auf den Fluß.
Im Marloth Park selbst sind ebenfalls viele Tiere (Giraffen, Impalas, Kudus, Zebras, Wathogs usw.), die man jedesmal bei Hin- und Rückfahrt zur Lodge bewundern kann.
Die Fahrt zum nächsten Gate in den Krüger Park ist bequem in ca. 30 min zu bewältigen.
Halbpension ist unbedingt zu empfehlen, da es an Alternativen mangelt.
Das Essen ist gut und vielseitig. Es gibt auch Abende mit Braai in der Boma.
Einige Schwächen hat der Service (unpünktlich, längere Wartezeiten) und die Ausstattung des Zimmers Nr.5 (Sanitäranlagen).
Die Beschreibung der Anfahrt fühft über einen Weg, der mit normalem PKW fast nicht befahrbar ist. Erst wenn man vor Ort ist, erfährt man von einer Alternative. Dann ist es jedoch zu spät.

Al llegar nos encontramos que la habitación reservada no coincidía con las fotos vistas en internet. Al reclamar nos propusieron cambiar por una similar a la que supuestamente habíamos reservado recién al día siguiente. La sorpresa fue cuando hicimos el check out, donde el mananger pretendió cobrar una tarifa muy superior, de la que nunca nos informaron. Nos sentimos estafados, por lo que no recomendamos este hotel.
