If your thinking of booking a trip here just do it. The staff are fantastic, they help to arrange evrrything for you so you can sit back and enjoy the trip without worry. Savannah and Melissa were very accomodating throughout. All of the staff were so kind and caring. The property had everything you need, great scenery, wildlife within. The property was always clean and the food at the accomodation was so good! A truly special place for us with unforgettable memories! Thankyou to all the staff for making it such a magical trip ❤️

Mvuradona Lodge and their staff of truly WONDERFUL!! They deserve 10 stars or more!!!

Mvuradona will forever have a special place in my heart! The staff went above and beyond for us, everyone is SO friendly, and I cannot thank them enough for the kindness and love they showered my mom. We are humble people, yet they cared for my mom and I as though we were true VIP.

They were all attentive, helpful, welcoming, warmhearted, considerate, compassionate and loving. My mom was beaming our entire stay. And this was by far the best place we have ever stayed and the best holiday we ever had.
Mvuradona Safari Lodge, by far exceeded our expectations!!!

I just feel terrible that it has taken me this long to write a review.
But sadly after our AMAZING stay, I lost my mom tragically a few months later.
So it has been difficult to sit down and write this review.

BUT DO NOT HESITATE, MVURADONA IS THE PLACE YOU WILL LOVE STAYING AT TO!!!

Excellent location along the river and next Kruger National Park, the area has heaps of wildlife around the lodge, with different animals visiting each day. The team were wonderful, the dinners and packed breakfasts were great. The lodge also offer safari drives, these were the highlight. Very comfortable vehiicle and very knowledgeable guide. Would hoghly recommend thiablodge for a wonderful stay.

Would definitely recommend!

We stayed 4 nights to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The Honeymoon Suite was just lovely.
We were treated with the upmost care and consideration with delicious breakfasts, top quality dinners and excellent safari experiences. We would definitely recommend the all day and sunset game drives.
The lodge was very easy to find and beautifully situated very close to Crocodile River. The number and variety of animals freely walking around the grounds was stunning. We were greeted by a herd of zebra as soon as we had parked the car and Kudu, Impala and Gnu were seen on a regular basis. The walk from the lodge along the river was stunning and we saw a family of elephants a pair of hippo and numerous Impala all around.

Not a 4 star, but decent for the location

This hotel is conveniently located at the southern end of Kruger. However the area is not secure at all, and did not feel very safe to us. The condition of the hotel was generally good, but the service was pretty poor. At check in, both meals, and check out, we generally had to walk around to find someone. Although breakfast orders were filled out on a piece of paper (without much instruction or communication), our orders were wrong. Both breakfast and dinner were not very good, and dinner was pretty pricey relative to other resorts we’d stayed at. That being said, the owner was rather nice, and the bonfire gives the place a nice touch in the evening.

Excellent location for visiting Kruger Park

Excellent location, within Marloth Park, a private reserve on the border of Kruger National Park.
The lodge is nicely designed, with big rooms furhished in \"safari\" syle.
The bed pillows were too high and very hard, so not very confortable for sleeping. Nex time I will bring my own pillow.

Excellent dinner, despite the limited selection of food (only 2 main courses for the dinner menù).

there are 8 of us. All of us highly praise this lodge. Everything is very good including the staff, the rooms, the lounge, the surroundings, the breakfast and dinner.
In the evening, when we sit in a round with fire in the middle. A Codo and several zebra came and stare at us so close.

Two nights at Mvuradona -- Meh

Our stay at Mvuradona was fine, but certainly nothing to write home about, especially given the myriad lodging options in the Komatipoort/Marloth Park area. The staff was all very nice and accommodating and our bush suite was comfortable enough (at least there was a mosquito net around the bed), but there was a lot left to be desired. Though the lodge sits right at the edge of Kruger and there is a nice view of the river, there is no clean walking path down to the viewing area. You have to walk through grass and brush and cross two dirt roads. There was no tv in our room, which was fine, as there is a communal tv area in the main lodge. But one evening after dinner when my wife an I wanted to relax and watch a movie before bed, we went to the area and the lodge manager was lying on the couch watching a program, and it was uncomfortable asking if she didn't mind if we watched something. Then, twenty minutes into the movie, two other staff told us that they wanted to lock up the main lodge and asked us to turn off the tv. As for the food... it was fine, but we were surprised at how expensive the dinners were when we got our bill -- nearly 20 euros per person, drinks not included -- which is much more than other area restaurants. All in all, the stay was fine, but not a place we would return to.

Great bush lodge location

Travelling as 6 Adults and a 3 month baby, we could not asked for a better safari experience for our trip to South Africa. The lodge is near to Kruger National Park and also backs on the Crocodile River with only a fence that separates you from the park. From here you can watch the animals from the comfort of your dining table, a couch in the spacious open plan lounge or the swimming pool. The suites are wonderful with thatched roofs, very comfortable beds with insect nets adding to the safari feel. The host and staff are extremely friends and very helpful. We found nothing to be a problem. If you really want to experience the sounds and feel of nature then you cannot go wrong with Mvuradona Safari Lodge.

This was a lovely lodge, beautiful room, excellent service, reasona ly priced. The only reason for not giving five stars overall is that the food let it down. Ok but could be a lot better and with some improvement in this area would be well deserving of five rating.

We arrived at the camp well after dark and Larika had already called to make sure we were okay and could find the place. The camp is in the middle of a private area right on the southern edge of the Kruger Park, and has its own set of wild animals, including a very handsome giraffe who ambled through camp as we were having breakfast. The room is comfortable and quiet and the staff is attentive to your needs. We only had breakfast, but it was delicious and plentiful. We wished we had stayed another day or two. Thanks for an excellent visit!

A propriedade tem quartos amplos, limpos e confortáveis.
A cama e os travesseiros são super gostosos, o chuveiro muito bom.
A propriedade fica ao lado do Kruger Park e é possível avistar vários animais ao redor e dentro da propriedade.

Os quartos são limpos e amplos, o café da manhã delicioso, camas grandes e confortáveis, chuveiro muito bom.

O jantar e almoço que oferecem à parte tem muitas opções de pratos, inclusive com opções veganas, e a comida é realmente MARAVILHOSA.

A equipe do lodge é muito atenciosa, sempre nos atendendo com um sorriso no rosto.

A localização é PERFEITA, bem na borda do Kruger. É possível ver vários animais e observar a vida selvagem do Kruger sem nem sair da hospedagem.
Vários animais também visitam o lodge diariamente, nos sentimos realmente inseridos na vida selvagem.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach wunderbar! Die Lage mitten in der Natur ist traumhaft – wir hatten regelmäßig Besuch von Antilopen, Gnus und Warzenschweinen direkt vor der Terrasse der Unterkunft. Das Team war unglaublich herzlich und hat uns sogar ein veganes Frühstück und Abendessen zubereitet – einfach großartig! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Since the moment you step in the reception you are greeted by a friendly staff. Not to mention all the animals roaming around. We were greeted by Zebras and Kudu among others. We did a tour with Rihann, he was very knowledgeable in tracking the animals. Family own atmosphere, that takes you in. The food was delicious!! For sure we will be back.

Charmante Lodge mit romantischen Zimmern , ruhig, viele Tiere kommen vorbei (diesmal zwei Kudus, ein Gnu, zuletzt Zebras). Frühstück und Dinner auf der Terrasse, Lagerfeuer, wunderschöner Sternenhimmel….
Freundlichen Service, stilvolle Einrichtung. Viele kleine nette Extras wie Begrüßungsdrink, kostenlose Kaffee und Tee Zubereitung…
Lage im Marloth Park, nah zum Kruger Gate. Ist das Geld wert! Wir kommen wieder wenn wir können

Charmant hôtel situé dans le Park Marloth, dans lequel vous êtes entourés d’animaux africains (Impalas, Koudous, Phacochères, Zèbres) lors des repas. Magique !

Die Lodge liegt sehr gut gelegen, gleich am Crocodile River. Zebras, Impalas, Kudos und Warzenschweine kommen bis an die Lodge. Vom Pool aus hat man einen perfekten Blick auf den Kruger NP, der gleich gegenüber liegt, wo wir mehrere Elefanten und Giraffen beobachten konnten.
Das Personal ist unglaublich lieb, hat uns über alle Gefahren im NP informiert und uns rundum toll versorgt. Die Safaris wurden uns von der Lodge aus gebucht, es ist aber empfehlenswert schon vorab mit der Lodge in Kontakt zu treten und etwas zu buchen, da wir erst nach Ankunft uns drum kümmerten und alles, was wir eigentlich vorhatten, bereits ausgebucht war.
Auch das Essen war sehr lecker! Die Servicekraft war sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Zu unserer Full Day Safari wurde uns ein ausgewogenes Frühstück für die Tour mitgegeben, das den ganzen Tag ausgereicht hat. Es war wirklich einfach nur perfekt!

Wundervolle Unterkunft am Rande des Krüger Nationalparks! Wir haben uns superwohl gefühlt, das Personal und die Betreiber sind sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Das Essen war super, täglich ein wechselndes Menü zu sehr fairen Preisen. Das einzige was Optimierung vertragen könnte wäre die Beleuchtung. Wir hatten ein einfaches Doppelzimmmer und da war sowohl im Schlafzimmer, als auch im Badezimmer wirklich schreckliche Beleuchtung mit kaltem Licht Auch in der \"Lobby\" bzw dem Aufenthaltsraum war ein großer Kronleuchter mit Glühbirnen in kaltem Weiß. Aber das ist motzen auf sehr hohem Niveau. Den ganzen Tag über begrüßen einen Kudus, Warzenschweine, Zebras, Impalas und andere Tiere im Garten. Es ist wirklich traumhaft und ich kann es nur empfehlen dort auch eine Safari zu buchen!
