Excellent friendly staff, great food and lovely friendly ‘house dog’”Sudi”
This place is a real gem and at the quieter end of the beach which suited us perfectly.

An amazing location directly on the beach with beautiful views and sunsets and sound of the crashing waves. We stayed in the two bedroom suite on the ground floor. This was a perfect for our multi-generational family with space and facilities for everyone. The beds were so comfortable and the daily cleaning staff were brilliant. The little things like flowers on the bed were a lovely touch. Breakfast was a stones throw from our room and practically on the beach. We didn’t even have to put shoes on! The breakfast was fresh and cooked to order so no chaotic buffet. We ate in Olin’s restaurant most days as it always exceeded anything else we tried locally. The staff at Suite Lanka were what made our trip so special. They were so friendly and helpful and always ready to assist in any way possible. The sunbeds were reserved just for hotel guests so there was no need to rush in the morning. The pool was a lovely place to cool off in the afternoon sun. We enjoyed Christmas Eve and New Years eve at Olin’s on the beach. The choir that performed Christmas Eve were wonderful, and the young children of the nativity simply adorable. New Year’s Eve was just as special. We were treated to a display of traditional dance and costume by local girls, and the lobster thermidor was to die for. The beach was alive with fireworks at midnight. Overall, Suite Lanka proved to be an unmatched tranquil paradise and the perfect remedy to busy London life.

This property has a rustic feel, however it does need a updating, fixing in some areas a lick of paint and new towels . Its the views that saves this property. It's absolutely stunning. It was lovely waking up to the sounds of the
waves.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in the Pool Suite which was very comfortable. All the staff were very polite and friendly and always had a smile on their face. It is a very relaxed hotel and you just feel at ease as soon as you arrive. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. We would love to come back here one day! Thank you for a lovely stay.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, perfect, staff rooms food location amazing, easy walk into town down the beach, you can walk the road we found it easier getting a tuck tuck if we didn’t walk down the beach. We ate in the hotel for 6 nights as the food was so amazing. Cocktails are great 😀, room was very spacious and cleaned daily. What I loved was it was small very authentic with amazing see view and sofa on balcony to watch the sunsets, do not hesitate to book.

We absolutely loved our stay at this rare to find classic old style Sri Lankan home away from home place. Stunningly beautiful part of the beach and access to being right on the beach, beautiful calm, peaceful atmosphere and gorgeous building with good natural earthy quality wooden floor and furnishings, with much soul and character and charm! Staff are kind, generous, , and service is petainal human with a loving smile as I find in almost all parts of Sri Lanka. There are now many ‘fancy’ but soul less, impersonal,transactional, consumerist hotels made and run by money hungry giants - whilst it looks great on outside staying at soul less hotels truly does not make things memorable unlike this beautiful hotel. Superb hotel. Fully recommend. Thank you Suite Lanka staff and hotel. We will love stay with you again and bring others. Couple of recommendations- Please continue to serve traditional Sri Lankan exquisite cuisine- and continue its authenticity which is what myself and I’m sure many other Sri Lankan and non Sri Lankan native tourists are coming for and seeking! Stronger power of the shower would be much appreciated. And lastly please stay heart centred and don’t change to become more commercial / mass market etc. We love your unique classic authentic charm! Great choice for families

We had a lovely stay at Suite Lanka. Great location on the beach and very easy and welcoming with children. We stayed for 6 nights with two children aged 3 and 1 and all had a great time.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which is ideal with children as it's on the ground-floor and easy to pop back from the beach, pool and restaurant. The rooms are large and fully equipped, we borrowed a travel cot that was good quality.

The pool is quiet and we often had it too ourselves, which was great for the kids to splash about in.

We ate in the restaurant everyday. There's a wide selection including vegetarian and Sri Lankan, all reasonably priced. Only had one opportunity to try the cocktails but they were great.

The service was perhaps the best part of the stay. Especially Roshan who was very helpful despite us arriving during load shedding with no WiFi available either.
A relaxed breakfast timing was what my day -- didn't have to get up early on vacation time and rush by 9 am like in other hotels.

Suite Lanka is an amazing cozy little hotel. The staff and management were so friendly and accommodating. Always caring for your needs and ensuring you have a pleasant stay. The hotel was the best place on the stretch of the beach, for it’s style and atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Galle and staying at Hikkaduwa. Thank you David and the team for being amazing hosts.

Suite Lanka is a small and very relaxing place to stay. We cannot emphasize enough how welcoming and friendly all the staff were and how perfect the environment is for relaxing.
Although a relatively small hotel it is perfect for what we were looking for which was just to be pampered and relax

Had a enjoyable 3 night stay at this boutique hotel. In a beautiful location, right on a stunning beach. Staff were pleasant, service was good although on the occasion a little slow. If you’re looking to relax and soak in beautiful views this is a great place to stay. The food was very good as well

Wow - where to start... Probably the nicest staff we’ve ever met! Incredibly friendly, pleasant and eager to help.
Rooms were really nice, location was right on the beach (2-3km from Hikkaduwa center) and the food was great. We were traveling with our 8 month old baby and they did everything to make us feel at home and safe.
Such a pleasant experience - a hugh thanks to Siri, Udaya and Dilen for all their help! 😃
We highly recommend staying at Suite Lanka.

Skal du til Hikkaduwa og ønsker et stille og rolig sted på stranden, er dette et nydelig sted. Hotellet har store rom, er godt vedlikeholdt (ikke helt nytt), de har god frokost, og de som jobber der er veldig vennlige og service-minded. Stranden er nydelig.

Die Lage des Hotels sowie das Personal sind wirklich großartig. Auch das Essen im Hotel war hervorragend. Toll fand ich auch, dass Wasser in Glasflaschen zur Verfügung stand und auch ansonsten in gewisser Weise auf Nachhaltigkeit Wert gelegt wurde. Die Toilette könnte gründlicher geputzt werden und es müssten häufiger Defekte und Abnutzungen an der Ausstattung kontrolliert werden. Es wäre auch nett gewesen, wenn man das Frühstück erstattet hätte, das wir am letzten Tag nicht in Anspruch nehmen konnten. Das sind aber wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten und wir haben uns ansonsten sehr wohl gefühlt.

Superbe hôtel, en face de très belle plage.
La chambre était immense , on avait un up-grade, le personnel gentil et serviable.
On a regretté de passer juste une nuit.

Hôtel de bord de mer très agréable, calme avec chaises longues sur la plage. Personnel à l’écoute. Petit déjeuner complet. Bien placé sur la plage (à distance de la partie bruyante).

Bémol : décoration vieillotte, isolation phonique datée. Plus de personnel sur place (sauf veilleur de nuit) à partir de 21 heures. Le classement « 4 étoiles » est hors de propos.

Absolut et godt hotel

Dette hotel er ganske enkelt fantastisk. Vi boede på et af de store værelser med terrasse ud mod havet.
Personalet er meget søde og venlige. Maden er delikat og lækker. Beliggenheden er også rigtig fin, da det ligger lidt udenfor det hektiske turistområde. Kæmpe anbefaling herfra.

目の前が海で、ビーチもすぐなのが良かった。
部屋も広々としていたので、ゆっくりと寛げた。
レストランも海の前で大変眺めが良かった。
朝食も夕食も大変美味しかった。
ホテルのスタッフの人達は、皆フレンドリーで、何かがあると、すぐに一生懸命に対処してくれた。
アットホームな感じがして、ホテルというよりゲストハウスのような感じがして、大変寛げた。
周りも静かで、ゆっくりとリラックスして過ごす事が出来た。
又、是非泊まりたいと思う。

Flott hotell med fantastisk beliggenhet

Lite hotell med Flott beliggenhet på stranden. Kjempe god service! Det eneste negative var at det var til tilder veldig høye bølger i sjøen, men hotellet har basseng. Drar gjerne tilbake til dette hotellet.
