Very cramped and strange hotel, room was at odd angles and very tiny. Never once saw a person at the front desk, no matter what time of day, and really would have liked to have simply asked a few questions in passing. Charged way too much for breakfast which didn't have any hot food at all. Would not stay again,

A typical older European city center hotel that offers great location, lots of character, seasoned friendly staff, a wonderful breakfast with typical space friendly rooms that are meticulously maintained. It was exactly what we wanted, i.e. its not the Wynn, and we had not problem handling the stairs.

The hotel has the best jam I have ever eaten in any other hotel, four stars or more. Everything else is great too. It is only that the bed was too soft for me, but that is my personal preference for hard beds, I am sure it would be fine for most other people.

I would not call this a hotel. Its more of a hostel - no elevators and reception is on the 2nd floor which was annoying. The rooms were clean but dark and cold (no heating). I was miserable. There was also a brothel under the place.
My colleague and I disliked it so much we decided to stay in Munich and do the 1.5 hour commute each way than stay in this \"hotel\". Stay in the Big Box hotel next door or in Munich like we did.

Manager very friendly and helpful. The immediate location and externals a bit unimpressive but maybe that's why it is great value for the room comfort and amenity provided at the price. Once inside you are in good hands and your experience will be more than favorable. My three old mates (all 65 plus) and I loved it.

This is a gem in Kempten. It is just the nicest hotel! It is so clean and the people who work there are top-notch. They are so helpful. The breakfast (fruestuck) was wunderbar! The only drawback is no elevator. My husband are quite fit, but I would think others would have a problem. I highly recommend this hotel and so glad I found it on hotels.com!

Ich,wurde sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen und bekam ein sehr gemütliches Zimmer auf der 3. Etage mit modernem Bad. Herausstechend war die Sauberkeit die ich vorfand. Wirklich tadellos. Frühstück eine 10/10. Auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen und man merkte, dass man hier wirklich auf die Zufriedenheit des Gastes Wert legt.

Mein Zimmer war tadellos sauber, gut ausgestattet und sehr ruhig – perfekt für eine erholsame Nacht. Auch der Check-in sowie der Check-out funktionierten problemlos. In der Summe ein Aufenthalt, der sehr angenehm war. Bei meiner nächsten Reise nach Kempten werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder im CityHotel übernachten.

Das Hotel liegt unweit der Fußgängerzone in der Innenstadt und bietet sich deshalb für einen Besuch der Stadt bestens an. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für die Größe des Hotels überraschend vielfältig, liebevoll angerichtet und qualitativ sehr gut, das Personal zuvorkommend und super freundlich. Die Ausstattung des Zimmer war dagegen eher Standart. Ein Aufzug ist nicht vorhanden. Insgesamt aber eine sehr gute Wahl für einen Kurzaufenthalt.

Charmantes, kleines Hotel in bester Lage im Zentrum von Kempten: Nur wenige Schritte vom Forum, der Big Box Allgäu und natürlich der Altstadt. Kleine Zimmer mit allem was man braucht, viel Ruhe und Gemütlichkeit im Haus, von draußen bekommt man bei geöffnetem Fenster am Wochenende viel vom umtriebigen Leben der Stadt mit. Die Betreiber sind außergewöhnlich nett und aufmerksam, und das Frühstücksbuffet dekadent lecker.

Liegt mitten in Kempten. Sehr schnell in der Innenstadt. Mit den Parkplätzen sieht es etwas mau aus. Hatte Glück das ich noch im Hof parken konnten. Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück sehr gut. Alles da was man sich wünscht.

Rigtig hyggeligt og familiært! Det sødeste personale. Værelserne er nogenlunde, men fint til en enkelt overnatning. Ingen aircondition så lidt varmt! Morgenmaden var den helt rigtige tyske oplevelse (ikke Continental her). Rigelig plads til parkering lige overfor hotellet. Spørg personalet efter restauranter i byen.

Wir haben dieses gemütliche Hotel als Zwischenstopp für unseren Italien Urlaub gewählt und nur einen Tag hier verbracht. Rundum sind wir sehr zufrieden gewesen! Das Personal war mehr als zuvorkommend, extrem höflich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kleinkinder und 1 Baby) war wirklich super und hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück war einwandfrei und es blieben absolut keine Wünsche übrig! Man ist direkt in der Innenstadt und hat jegliche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gastronomien vor der Tür. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können dieses Hotel mit bestem Gewissen empfehlen!
