The rooms were pretty authentic to like the way the hill tribe people live in they had sachets and candle spring for the insects which was a nice touch since there were many in the mountains. Breakfast buffet was delicious views were stunning staff service top notch.

This was an amazing hotel. We felt like we were island princesses among the flora and fauna. Every single view from this hotel looks like a National Geographic cover. The staff was also amazing. We went during low season and got a free upgrade to the white room with the pool which was amazing. They also automatically moved our checkin to a later time. The service was great and they were super helpful with organizing day trips and drivers. 10/10 recommend

Natural and serene

A serene mountain stay for a complete getaway from city life. You wake with birdsong and the rooms are large and natural. Food, drink and spa is expensive . Breakfast was very tasty with different offerings from the usual.

This property had an amazing view & was such a beautiful resort on the outside. The front desk staff was great. The con is once you get inside the resort room, that is a different story. There were bugs everywhere. I saw at least 20 millipedes in my room, every day. There were holes in the door & one window would not shut. Sadly I will not be staying there again.

We last stayed at this stunning resort 8 years ago and it's lost none of its charm. The decor is spectacular drawing from the landscape around. Our suite was huge with a lovely terrace to relax on watching the sun go down. Pool area not large and they could do with a few more sun loungers but still very enjoyable. Also note there are no fridges in rooms if you intend to stock up on cold beers, but the bar areas are lovely as are the 3 or 4 flat roof gardens.

Resort with nice scenery and best services

The upper mountain room is clean and cozy. The hotel staffs and services are excellent. Breakfast is good with lots of varieties including local thai northern food. The hotel ambient is the best. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was slightly expensive but the foods are nice. Overall we are happy with the stay and definitely will go back to this Phu Jai Sai hotel. :)

Bamboo cottage a disappointment

A disappointing experience, room wasn’t very clean, there was a huge hole in the mosquito net of the bathroom, the restaurant was very expensive and the food wasn’t good.. when I went at 10.05 to get quickly some food for breakfast, I couldn’t get anything because breakfast was until 10. (Absolutely no flexibility whereas I was with my 2months old baby which explained why I was late). Not a good value for money at all! Wouldn’t recommend this place

The house keeping should check the room before let the guess enter the room. The first room is very beautiful but we are so shocked to see the mini centipede all over the room. Luckily the hotel offer the new one that more bigger with beautiful scenery but it’s not clean and very dusty so that’s why we’ve stayed just only one night. However for the part of the restaurant is very good with nice service.

a lovely resort in the mountain

Pros. A lovely boutique resort in the mountain with many sustainable solutions such as its organic farm and extensive use of bamboo in the construction. The garden, breakfast areas of the hotel are beautiful with many tropical plants, flowers and oh-so-cute sculptures all over the resort. The view from our room is gorgeous in the morning. If you wake up early in the morning, you can catch sunrise right on your balcony.
Cons: we stayed in the two bedroom suite. The bathroom needs a little TLC and living room is a little too dim at night.

This property has stunning greenery on its grounds. The views from the entire resort are breathtaking. The food was very good and we enjoyed the pianist/singer at dinner. This resort is very quiet and good for people looking to get away from everything to be in nature.

The rooms and the hotel are really lovely and quiet, in the middle of the mountain which is exactly what we were after. Breakfast was also very nice and there was a good amount of choices. Were I think there could be improvements to make it perfect would be better mattresses (they were a bit hard...), and personal touch to make it feel special.

This was an amazing hotel in the middle of nowhere, but that’s the the reason to book here. Stunning views and great people. A lot out of the way so your gonna need a car or bike, we called at the tea plantation on the way through and it’s well worth a stop.

Wonderful

Recommend to book the room in the middle building because you will see mountain view with sunrise and sunset. The look was perfect, spaciouse area, good layout, nice decor with nature style and comfy bed.
Breakfast was very great ambience with lovely sunset and fresh air, variety of breakfast item such as egg station, boiled rice etc. Special item I love, it was a toast bread by charcoal in Thai style. Food at lunch not really wow. Overall was perfect!

A good spot for isolation from development.
My room has no TV, so it was a good total relaxing moment even with kids and baby.
Would appreciate better if were notified of advance booking required for horse and elephant rides.
Hotel kitchen prepares fine and delicious Northern Thai dishes and are very accommodating in preparing Western meals.

Nice quiet mountain retreat

it'sup in the mountains in the jungle, a little retreat from the usual tourist traps. We only stayed one night but it was quiet and peaceful. We ate at the restaurant and ordered Thai food only, it was excellent. We would stay here again.

The Hotel transfer to and from Airport is too expensive-700Baht. The coffee is too bitter, toast is not toasted and when you ask them to toat it properly, they only do it on one sided. Bacon is mostly fat and scramble egg is too greasy. Food has no flavour and overpriced mininimum price is 135 Baht for entree spring rolls. Pool is no in a clean state to swim in. The only two reason choose to stay in the hotel was because the view and wanted get massage and spa treatment but found out the price on arrival was 1200Baht per hourly massage so I didn't end up enjoying my stay at all.

a displeasent delight

This is our 4th stay at the resort - only this time we tried the 1 bedroom pool villa - what as hame, it looked so good upon arrival - but the facilities of the room were a shame
1. all water outlets in our room, shower, bath, basin faucets poured dirty brown water - even after 30 mins continuous pour
2. The villa swimming pool was green, asked to clean, they clearly just scrubbed it, pour a lot of chlorine to mask the smell - and now we had murky green water
3. bamboo bed - snapped

Clearly the resort is in need of maintenance - such a shame for a very nice place...prior

We were offered another room - but i reminded the C.S.M that I specifically chose a pool villa for seclusion, If i wanted to share a pool with the rest of the resort, i would have chosen so at a lesser rate- The CSM offered to take care of us at dinner that night (a pleasant gesture i think for the inconvenience - later to find out it was put on our check out bill - lol )service in the restaurent was too prompt - the minute our entree was finished, no second later our main course arrived and so forth with desert - that was the last dinner we had there - I'll also add that the menu hasn't changed in the 3 years of visiting

But they picked us up at every occasion and we had dinner in our private courtyard on the last night, so that was good - but had to pay for breakfast on the final morning, we had it @ 0930 - we were told 1000 was the last serving

I can only imagined if i paid the resort website fare

This place ha so much potential unfortunately due to neglect its a dump, they are charging prime rates for a roach motel, I hope management reads this and invests in their lovely property. Best part about this place is that it's close to semok farm where semok himself will give you an amazing horseback tour in the mountains.

An amazing experience

After a doubtful start (on seeing our room - found it to be dark and a bit dank) - we had a magical time. We came to love the room - after accepting it was not a luxury hotel... the mountain views were breathtaking, food excellent, and staff very friendly. The garden and surroundings were very pretty too. Also enjoyed the pool. I would suggest some maintenance in the near future though... the rooms really need upgrading and the overgrowth around the bungalows needs containing. Some structural maintenance might not go amiss either.
We hope this facility can receive upgrades as it is a unique place to visit.

Eine wunderschöne Anlage mitten in der Natur. Charmant. Leider sind mache Bereiche der Anlage inzwischen etwas marode geworden. Die Toilette müffelte z.B. nach Kanalisation und hatte keine Tür. Die Liegen am Pool waren schmutzig. Ein Sonnenschirm wäre hilfreich gewesen. Für den Preis (250,-€ Poolvilla) sollte das nicht sein. Essen war übrigens gut!

Mit lives værste ophold..

Det hele startet med vi fik et beskidt værelse spurgte om de ville rengøre værelset det, det lovet det at gøre. Men da vi kom tilbage var værelset ligeså beskidt. Så vi ringet til hotels og klaget og vi spørger om vi ville opgraderes til deres fineste være.. Det var vi taknemmelig for, men takket nej til tilbuddet pga. Vi kun skulle være der 2 dage og en dag var allerede gået. Men de insisterede på at vi skulle flytte.. Vi flyttet så værelse og det skulle vi aldrig have gjort fordi det var 5 gange så beskid og om der masse myre og alt mulig andet så vi blev bidt og stukket af.. plus der var afføring fra dyr pga. At hytten ikke er renoveret og hel utæt så alle dyr kan komme ind.. Vi har nu både sendt billeder og klare til hotels for erstatning og pga. har udgifter til sygehuset pga af de mange bid fra myre og måske kolie bakterie.. Men igen hjælp fra dem med at hjælpe med at betale sygehus ophold..

Wonderful resort let down by expensive restaurant

The resort and surroundings is simply beatiful and very tranquil, a perfect location for a romantic getaway. The pool area was equally picturesque. The largest problem is that the restaurant and bar, which are the only ones in the area, are not at the same level. The food and drinks where adequate, but simply put far to expensive for what was offered. The bamboo villas where comfortable and had a wonderful patio, that would have been perfect for sitting in private in in the evenings with a few beers or a glas of wine, but the villas did not have a minibar or other refrigeration for drinks, so the only alternative is to walk to the bar instead.

During our visit we had a few problems, each of which are minor but together conspired to make the stay less than perfect.
* Our first villa was completely infested with ants, so we had to switch to another with twin beds instead of king size bed
* Our second villa had a broken safe which could not be fixed during our stay
* There was a rather lengthy power outage (3h+) one night, and the resort apparently lacks backup generators

Of course the resort cannot control nature, but a more careful vetting of the rooms before guests move in would have discovered the problem with ants and broken safe, and possibly fixed them before we discovered them.

酒店偏僻，房間太多昆蟲，別墅游泳池太細，池水不潔，周圍多蚊。餐廳多蒼蠅，蜜蜂，早餐自助餐種類少，食物有蒼蠅停留，酒店通往房間有山路，石階，天雨路滑，路燈照明不足，非常容易生意外，而酒店價錢物非所值。

โรงแรมดี เป็นธรรมชาติ แต่จากทางเข้าไปถึงตัวโรงแรมค่อนข้างไกล และถนนไม่ค่อยดี ป้ายบอกทางน้อย ไม่สม่ำเสมอ lobby อยู่บนเนินแคบ จอดรถยาก เมื่อมีผู้เข้าพักมาก จุดนั้นจะแออัด ห้องพักไม่เก็บเสียง ทำให้ได้ยินเสียงจากบ้านข้างๆ โทรศัพท์และ wifi เสีย แจ้งพนักงาน แต่ไม่ได้รับการแก้ไขใดๆ อาหารเช้าอร่อย แต่มีน้อย
