Crusted smears on the ground that looked very much like poop, stains on the linens, dark blue towels (which added to everything else did not give me the strong impression that they were adequately clean), horrible construction with large screws in the baseboard, baseboard pulling away from the walls, moldy ceiling in the bathroom, awful shower, main light did not work, electrical tape hanging off of the window, the window was extremely bright all night long due to the flood lights outside, and pillows in extreme need of replacing. This was my worst hotel experience in over 10 years. Even for under 80 dollars, my stay was a complete rip off.

Parking lot is a tad cramped but the staff is amazing! Ice machine and laundry machines are primo. Very convenient with a nice bar/restaurant, kwik Trip, McDonalds, and liquor store all within a 3 minute walk. Easy access to I-43 just 5 mi. north of Port Washington.

Staff was really nice, located right across from a Kwik Trip and Laundromat, and super close to highway. However, the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. The bed, the sheets, the walls, the couch, the bathroom and even my clothes started to smell like old cigarette smoke.

No issues. Had a good sleep before i continued my 1500mile journey across the country. Staff was nice and worked with me when I forgot to transfer money into my card I had on file. Only took a few mintues but they were great and patient. Recommend anyone to come here if you need a cheap room for a night or 2.

We didn’t get to stay there. No one was at the front desk. My husband waited in the lobby even called them and no answer. We also waited in the parking lot. We saw no one. So if you get there after 12:00 am or later don’t book . They will not refund your money or help in any way.They don’t care that you been driving and need sleep.

3 queen beds= 2 queen beds and a pull out bed. Room supposed to sleep 10 but honestly.. 1 a bed us probably what it should say. Also, the toilet looked like it had explosive diarrhea dried onto it. Floor has ivk on it- soda can tab etc. 2 towels- small. 2 wash clothes. Fridge was gross looking. Wish the cleanliness was better. And it actually has 3 queen beds. Price was ok.

Listen if I walked into a park hyatt and it looked like this I would be giving a low rating, but for a budget friendly option I thought it exceeded my expectations, especially given the lackluster reviews. It was clean and convenient and I felt secure there with my kid. The rooms - especially the furniture - are a bit dated and the towels were straight up bad. But the flooring and paint job in my room looked relatively new. I am sensitive to cigarette smoke and I did not smell it at all like some reviewers have complained. My understanding is that the management has recently changed and i think they are legitimately making improvements. I walked in nervous because of the reviews but for the price point this was a good find.

NO frills...but Perfectly clean and fine for a place to lay your head. We were visiting relatives. Staff were training in a person and were delightfully awesome. Right across the street are all tge tgings you may need for the evening. Appreciated the \"quiet\" etiquette after 10 pm.

The 9nly thing id change is greasing and changing tge tension of the fire exit doors. Too much ker slam! But thats certainty fixable! My husband lamented not having the tools...lol.

The carpet had a bad smell, the window curtain had mold and there were a couple of large slices in it. There were not enough towels, even after requesting more twice, and there were no hand towels to speak of. The room was dark and there was no lighting in the entryway of the room and one of the corners. WE requested a rollaway bed and it was comfortable.

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Harrington Beach SP and the Ozaukee Interurban bike trail. I was very pleased with the location meeting my needs exactly. The common area and hallways appeared very clean and actually smelled a bit strong of cleaning product. My room did smell a tad musty when I entered, but I quickly became acclimated. What really boosted this to 5 stars was the noon standard check out time. I was thrilled with this as it rained the morning of my check out. This allowed me to hike, grab breakfast and take a nap before continuing my adventure.

Cleanliness is most important to me, and I would say Belgium Inn and Suites is quite clean.

When we arrived at 4 PM for check-in, no one was at the desk, and no one answered the phone that was provided. One of the cleaners appeared after a few minutes. She was very courteous. However, she told us that our room was not yet ready and she needed to finish vacuuming. This wait was quite short.

The lobby had a breakfast area, but no breakfast was offered. There were 2-3 vending machines, including one for coffee. Nothing complimentary.

Upon entering the room, we found there was only 1 Keurig cup and only 1 coffee cup. When we went to the desk, again there was no one there.

Upon returning to our room around midnight, our keys did not work. We needed to use the phone to call, and it took a few minutes for someone to come to the desk. We had our keys reprogrammed 3 times in order for them to work. The desk attendant was very courteous and gave us extra coffee and cups when we asked.

Concerning the room, there were no hand towels, only bath and washcloths. They were navy blue and smelled of fabric softener. I prefer white towels that have been bleached and have no scent. The bed was very soft, but comfortable. The curtains need to be replaced as they were torn up, had mildew/mold, and hung too low over the air conditioner.

If you need a clean, comfortable room for one night; and, you don't mind a few glitches, this hotel is a fair value for the price.

The front desk people were very friendly. The room was a decent size and it had a fridge and microwave, however no coffee maker. There was no complimentary coffee even in the lobby. They had a machine but it cost $ 3.15 per cup and not a big cup. The room could have been cleaned better overall. We noticed the bathroom floors were dirty. I had to wipe them with some Lysol wipes. The floor in the room looked newer but the bathroom and sink area could use updates but the price was reasonable.

I arrived early, but staff prepped my room so I could check in. The room had laminate flooring. It felt really clean. No gross carpet like I had recently at another hotel. I forgot to take my room key. Staff pleasantly gave me a new one and were patient with me when I kept putting the key by my phone resulting in it being demagnitized. The tv had been returned to store mide and the remote had been unpaired. Staff again were helpful in getting the tv properly working.

While it is obvious that the new owners are trying to make improvements, there is still many areas to address. Fit the shower so you have can have a decent cleaning. Need to invest in new towels -mine were worn and stained. Need to clean more carefully -2 dead bugs on my floor. I had to put the screen in my window to open it and not be mosquito eaten. Old and needs updates like new paint and some furnishings/bedding are beaten up and stained. But staff was nice and it is a convenient spot right off the highway. Also fairly cheap for a quick sleep stop. Corridor smelled funky but room was ok. It was a gorgeous night so opened the window so that may have helped too.

I stayed one night this year and two nights last year. When I called to confirm the day of my reservation this year, the person that answered couldn't confirm or deny. Plus he didn't call me back like he said he would. When we arrived the fellow that checked us in did a nice job. The room looked wore out but everything worked. There was only one set of towels. The parking lot is very small.

When I booked my stay, the property description stated \"complimentary continental breakfast\" but they apparently do not do that anymore. Not even free coffee in the morning.
The bed had navy blue sheets, which is weird in a hotel because that means they're not bleached for sanitation purposes. They looked and smelled clean at least.
The overall cleanliness of the room was subpar.
The mirror in the main area of the room clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while.
In the bathroom there was dirt and hair on the floor and in the shower. There were streaks of something running down the walls next to the toilet and in the sink area.
I wasn't looking for fancy, I was expecting basic cleanliness. I won't be staying there again.

Dead bed bugs on the window sill, Window open, looked like the carpet has never been vacuumed, ice machine broken, sheets were blue? I’ve never seen that before. (Thought hotels always used white sheets to bleach them) empty beer cans all over the grass in front, 3 males in a lower front room with window open smoking, front desk guy took 10 minutes after I had rang for service to check in. WE WALKED OUT & DID NOT STAY THE NIGHT. Unbelievable

Our overall experience was that this motel is in decline. The bathroom had broken towel bars . Only one washcloth and it was more of a scrub rag, hair in the corners. No coffee maker and previusly used pillowcases. We would rate this motel as a 2 star at best. Disappointing

Overall a great stay for the price. We stayed two nights. The desk staff was extremely helpful. I can’t remember his name but he was very friendly. Our room ended up being upgraded for free due to a shower issue which was much appreciated. The room was fairly clean. Only downside for me was the sheets in the bed, while clean, had stains on them which made me somewhat uncomfortable. The tub was slippery when climbing in and out and could have used some sticky ducks on the bottom. On the plus side water temp and pressure was excellent. The bed was a memory foam I believe and one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. Area was quiet and felt safe. No breakfast but next to a McDonald’s and theLuxembourg Cafe which was delicious.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We called ahead to let them know we would have a late check in around 10 pm. When we arrived at 10:15pm there was no one working the desk and the posted phone number to call for serviced was not answered. My family and I had to sleep in the lobby for 2.5 hours before the check in person arrived. He had obviously been drinking and was partying with his girlfriend.
