The property is cared for and clean. The rooms are spacious and clean. It’s easy to find and the restaurant is very good. I’m not sure how you would get here without a car. There is a train station in town, but unsure of taxi service.

Everything ok, except slow wifi

Friendly staff, nice small hotel, no luxury, but functional - good for an overnight stay. Decent breakfast, nice room, even better bathroom, clean. Free on-site parking, very friendly and helpful lady at the reception. The only remark is really slow wifi.

Super gross and filthy room ....

I doubt the room has been properly cleaned since new. There was so much grease and muck in the shower, that i actually slipped in it. It was so filthy that we ended our stay the same.night we checked in. And the staff tried to give me.lip about waking them up to get a new room .. in the end she calmed down after i showed her pictures of the filth, and i got.my money back... i would upload the pics here , but the app wont let me.for some reason...

Great walk around the nearby lake

We had an overnight stay here on our way back home to the UK. Good parking for cars, out of the town a little so nice and quiet and the gem is that it overlooks a nice lake with a walk around it to stretch your legs after being in the car all day. Room was very white and bathroom modern. Breakfast choices not bad and a friends welcome at the front desk. Would stay again.

Pleasant modern hotel

Very good hotel given there isn’t a lot of choice in this small town. We were visiting a friend for a couple of days and it was perfect for our needs. Clean, modern, very comfy beds and nice bathroom. Located by a lake so very nice views too.

Good enough. Could use a deep clean. Mostly clean but there were a few spiders and the paint is tired, some holes in the curtain and for some reason my towel had a 2” x 3” hole in it. Surely that had to be seen by housekeeping. Quiet room unless you need to keep a window open (no ac). We heard a dog barking and a woman having much more fun in her room than we were having in ours. My wife says she was faking it...
good basic breakfast. Staff all seemed nice and helpful.

A real gem in a quite town!

We had a split level family room which could comfortably accommodate a family of 5.

The room was modern and very clean with a balcony overlooking a lake and lush surroundings.

A perfectly refreshing overnight stay during our family holiday in the Ardennes. One I would definitely consider returning to.

Faulty hairdryer & full (?) restaurant

Disappointed to be told at check in (7pm) that the restaurant was full and we would have to eat elsewhere. Noticed when back at the hotel (after eating elsewhere) that the restaurant was empty inside and only a few tables being used outside. So don’t understand why we couldn’t eat there. Also,a really warm night but no air conditioner anywhere in the hotel- so a very uncomfortable night. Room was clean and ok, but a hair dryer fell apart when used and was dangerous.

Beautiful location, very nice staff, good value for money considering the breakfast included, and the facilities/rooms. Definitely worth booking the lake view rooms, with a balcony too. Restaurant in the hotel is very good, but can get busy. Food is excellent! Again, very nice staff who made the whole stay so enjoyable.

Nicest hotel on our trip

Room and bathroom were large, very clean and very modern. "Continental" breakfast included scrambled eggs and bacon when we were there. That was a pleasant surprise.

Nice view of river. Easy access to Bastogne.

Avoid. Hotel tired and dirty. Only offered one choice of meal in restaurant after 9 hours travel. Apparently we had to preorder meals!!!??? They didn’t even tell us that at check in. Ate in the town at Italian called la vendetta which was a life saver!

The hotels location was wonderful, overlooking a beautiful lake and well positioned to reach France, Germany and Luxembourg.
Rooms were comfortable, smaller than anticipated, with no tea or coffee making facilities. The bed was ok, although we had to ask for more pillows, as the one each they gave us was very thin and not conducive to a good nights sleep. The bathroom was spectacular and the shower wonderful! The toiletries were of a good quality and the towels HUGE and soft. Breakfast was good, but the evening meals were out of this world - just exceptional! Worth the journey on their own!!
The downsides? The bathroom could have been cleaner! Said wonderful shower is in need of a deep clean - the walls and floors had limescale marks on and the edges of the floor in the bathroom also needed a good scrub! Which brings me onto my next point - staffing! The staff are wonderful - very welcoming and helpful BUT it is clearly run on a skeleton staff, and they don't stop! It would certainly benefit from some extra hours to do deep cleans. The first night in the restaurant it was very busy and there was one member of staff in there - he was maitre d, barman, waiter, food server etc etc. It was too much for one person, he was running around like a wild thing! It also looked like there was one chef in the kitchen, so how he produced the quality of food he did, is highly impressive!
On the whole, it was a nice hotel and if we were in that area, we would certainly stay there again!

modern hotel next to lake

Eden Ardenne is a modern hotel overlooking the lake in Neufchateau. the rooms are spacious, the family room particularly so with a double bed on one level and two single beds on a mezzanine floor. Bathroom was modern with large shower and multi head spray. breakfast was included and is usual continental style with bacon and poached eggs. Good coffee and delicious mini croissants. Staff were very helpful and spoke embarrassingly good English. Good location for exploring the Ardenne region and Bastgone in particular. Museum at American memorial is the best WW2 experience I've seen. Bois Jaques, on road to Foy also worth a look for Band of Brothers fans.

We arrived very late, having phoned the hotel to tell them of the delay. The key was where we were told it would be so we let ourselves in and into th3 room (10 30 pm). I had a little trouble persuading the you ladies cleaning up the restaurant to serve us with a drink after a very long and delayed journey. Reluctantly they did. Next morning the same young ladies were around at breakfast. There was no service, all help yourself, though they did keep the buffet topped up. The hotel is very chic and modern, in a calm and peaceful setting overlooking the lake. Maybe this level of do-it-yourself is what the Belgians like but we shall think again before returning, despite its being in a very convenient stopping place between the channel ports and Germany

We stayed there for two separate nights as part of our annual motorcycle trip. The hotel is set on the edge of the town and is deceptive. You wouldn't think from the front of the hotel that there are the patio areas at the rear. The hotel appears to be very new and the staff are extremely helpful. The restaurant was very good, everybody throughly enjoyed the food. The rooms are clean and everything worked as it should, the showers are very good and great after a long day motorcycling. Thoroughly recommended.

The hotel was very nice and clean. We never did get the air conditioning working properly, but we were able to open the window. The hotel personnel were very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was very nice to have especially since there are really no other restaurants in Neuf Chateau. The location was great for us since we wanted to visit Luxembourg City, Bastogne, and make a quick trip to The Netherlands.

Other than the fact that someone had left the toilet used when we first got there, (kind of weird, maybe a worker?), but the rest of the room was spotless. Nice bed. Very modern black/white motif on the inside. Nice breakfast. Nice view out the back with a little balcony or patio to have breakfast. Very quiet town, and a lovely spot to get away. Would return if we were in the area.

Manquait une ampoule dans le hall d’entrée dès que l’on entrait dans la chambre. Éclairage très faible dans la salle de bain ,pour les dames se maquiller.
La planche du wc ne tenait pas quand nous sommes arrivées le vendredi 29/10 ,
Le samedi soir cela était réglé.
Très froid dans la chambre et la salle de bain plus mauvaises odeurs venant de l’evier .

Superbe séjour avec un accueil chaleureux.
La situation des lieux est merveilleuse avec une vue imprenable sur la base de loisirs.
Propreté indiscutable et très bon petit déjeuner.
Le point négatif est que lorsque l'on a voulu prendre une douche le matin dans la chambre n°20, l'eau était tiède au début et voir froide sur la fin. Nous l'avons signalé à la réception qui en a pris bonne note et allait faire le nécessaire pour remédier au problème.
Dans l'ensemble, tout était très correct.

L’hôtel a été remis à neuf, design moderne, état neuf, bonne literie mais escalier métallique dans chambre duplex…une vraie caisse de résonance!
Nous étions peu nombreux dans l’hôtel et avons profité des voisins toute la nuit. Je sais pas ce que cela donnera avec beaucoup de familles? …
Autre point négatif: avec les règles COVID on devait manger dans la chambre mais pas de chaises ni d’espaces suffisant.
Le personnel est très sympathique, sauf que j’ai appelé de nombreuses fois pour savoir si je devais réserver le repas à l’avance.
Encore le jour même, on m’a assuré que non, et résultat: il n’y avait plus que des pâtes chères pour un plat peu digérable. Carosccio et dessert bons. Et la bouteille de vin à 2€99 dans le commerce (Delhaize du coin) facturée à 22€ nous est aussi un peu restée sur l’estomac. On comprend bien que le contexte actuel est difficile mais bon… Bonne situation

L'hôtel est un point de départ sympa pour découvrir la région. Le parking sur place est un avantage. Les circonstances étant, nous avons été obligés de manger dehors, sous tonnelle, où il fausait venteux et froid; le 2° soir, nous avons dû manger dans la chambre, à cause du mauvais temps. Malheureusement, dans le type de chambre que nous avions, il n'y avait qu'une chaise et une petit coin de table pour prendre notre repas. Notre chambre était également mal isolé contre le bruit. Un ronronnement constant a gâché nos nuits. Dommage. Espérons que l'Eden Ardenne puisse rapidement rouvrir son restaurant pour un meilleur comfort.

L'accueil était super. Le petit déjeuner copieux, le souper délicieux. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. Par contre, nous avons eu un peu froid. Le chauffage est trop petit par rapport à la pièce. Et on n'avait pas de couverture supplémentaires.
Nous suggérons que les chambres soient équipées de bouilloire électriques.

Leuke familiekamer. Goed onthaal. Klein tafeltje op de kamer om op de kamer te kunnen eten. Badkamer is groot genoeg.
Wel veel lawaai te horen in de kamer van andere kamers en inkomhal.
Restaurant: ontbijt was ok, avondeten was rampzalig. Nog nooit zo slecht gegeten. Het eten smaakte naar niets, was uitgedroogd en koud. Ga liever elders eten afhalen.

Mooi zicht vanuit duplex met balkon op het stuwmeer

Gezellige kamer met trap nr boven en met kleine frigo en balkon in de zon met uitkijk op meertje, na een wandeling tot aan kinesys kan je langs is en weides padje volgen en mooie wandeling in de natuur maken met hond.

J'suis pas maniaque ... mais !

Je connais l'hôtel pour y avoir séjourné à plusieurs reprises pour mon travail. Ici, j'ai ajouté une nuit pour visiter. Dans l'ensemble, je suis satisfaite. Hélas, un élément est venu perturber légèrement ce séjour: les essuis de bain étaient de vrais chiffons qui ne semblaient pas très frais. Je le signal à la réception qui me répond que c'est parce qu'ils étaient trop nombreux dans le séchoir ... et ne me les échange pas ! Le lendemain matin, suite à une nouvelle demande de ma part, le nouveau réceptionniste vient m'en apporter de nouveaux impeccables ! J'ai enfin pu prendre ma douche!

Hotel ziet er over het algemeen mooi uit, maar wordt niet goed onderhouden. Ook de kamer werd bij een verblijf van 3 nachten niet schoon gemaakt. chocomelspetters van de vorige gasten zat nog op de muur.
Er werden alleen dagelijks schone handdoeken gegeven. De shampoo en douchegel wordt niet aangevuld. Ontbijt is karig en chaotisch. Avondeten is oke, maar verloopt ook chaotisch.

- Chambre un peu négligée. Toiles d'araignées. Signalé à la réception puis 1h plus tard quand nous sommes revenus, le problème a été réglé.
- Chambre négligée aussi niveau accessoires : support papier toilette, barre de fixation de la paroi de douche, pommeau de douche.
- N'oubliez pas de réserver tôt assez au resto....Mais bon, ça a permis de découvrir ce super resto italien dans le centre de Neufchateau : La Vendetta... A conseiller...

Leuk hotel, hadden een ruime kamer, kon wel een beetje beter gepoetst zijn vonden wij. Kamers op zich vrij proper maar de ruimte naar de receptie toe was niet netjes.
Restaurant leek meer op een schoolkantine. Ontbijt lekker en alles netjes verzorgd. Wel jammer dat iemand anders het eten van hen op onze rekening gezet heeft, weinig controle over, enkel kamernummer moet worden doorgegeven. Prijs/kwaliteit wel in orde.

Bon séjour de 2 nuits dans une belle région

2 nuits agréables au bord du lac. L'hôtel était bien et les alentours super. On a eu chaud pendant les nuits par contre car on n'avait pas l'air conditionné. Le déjeuner était bon.

Een gezellige en kindvriendelijke bestemming. Heel aangename sfeer. Het personeel is heel behulpzaam maar laat hier en daar een steekje vallen. Er worden duidelijk inspanningen gedaan om aan de coronamaatregelen te voldoen zonder dat de sfeer hierdoor verminderd.

Beau petit séjour en Famille (Couple 2 enfants) dans cet Hôtel accueillant. Le personnel est disponible et serviable et le sourire s'est ressenti malgré le port du Masque
Nous avons dormis dans la Chambre 24 côté parking, silencieux malgré tout. La chambre dispose d'un lit double et en mezzanine de 3 lits simples
Le cadre est verdoyant et apaisant
un centre commercial et un Lidl se trouvent non loin à proximité
Hôtel à 30 min des Grottes de HAN

Zeer vriendelijke mensen, prijs/kwaliteit zeer goed. Aan receptie ook mogelijk om in het Nederlands geholpen te worden.
Restaurant ook heel goed, bij goed weer een fantastisch uitzicht op de terras. Ook hier zeer vriendelijk personeel

Week-end en amoureux on ne pouvait mieux, à part le temps ... mais notre chambre avec vue sur le Lac nous a ravis . Petit déjeuner parfait .
Un seul point à revoir... le bar ferme beaucoup trop tôt 22h . Avec des amis on nous a refusé un dernier verre, alors que juste 22h .

Voor herhaling vatbaar al mag het iets netter!

Zeer goed bed in een moderne kamer, met een balkon en zicht op een meer. Een 3 sterren ontbijt zoals het hoort.
Jammer voor een hotel van amper 7 jaar, enig verval was reeds zichtbaar. De netheid was eerder ondermaats. Naast het meer was er niets te beleven in de nauwe omgeving, het was er wel rustig en stil!

We hebben slechts een nacht doorgebracht. De voorzieningen zjin goed. Ondanks de warmte van de afgelopen dagen, was de kamer redelijk koel, zonder AC, De keuken is goed en de Michelin gids ibeoordeling volledig op zijn plaats. We hebben lekker gegeten op het terras met uitzicht over het meertje.
