We came here for a budget holiday- booked with two weeks notice… the location was perfect! We did a lot of walking and lounging in the rooftop adult pool located at Casa Susana!
I would highly recommend that you take advantage of the all-inclusive option and prepare to get your beverages before heading to the pool! The Suites do not have a restaurant or bar, so you need to walk down the street (seriously not a big deal though), the Casa Susana does have what appears to be an excellent bar for drinks, coffee and a grill HOWEVER it is not being used! Could be the time of year we were there?! (May7-14)
Overall I would consider coming back and staying at the Casa Susana side to switch it up, the suites have a kitchenette which was nice for us to have coffee in our room and ice in the freezer for our drinks!
The balcony gives you a glimpse of the ocean however not private- you will get to know your neighbours lol

Been here multiple times and will be back in January for 10 days.Started off to rocky start because of an error on my part or expedia which ever it is was but whatever.
But the staff I cannot say enough of how they just know how to make it all better.
My most memorable moment was when Sandra that cleaned my room every day there.
I got very ill for like a day and a half and she came to clean my room and I said please tomorrow.
No problem.
2 days later I felt better and put my room together as much as I could cause I dont like to be messy at home or away.
I had a bag of like 15 bottles of water and electrolytes that I drank cause thats what I do when i dont feel good.
Sandra came to check on me to see if I was okay and needed more water or anything before her day off the next day!
WOW moment for me as I am a traveler and have never had someone check on me like that.
If she is a Mother or not she made me feel awwww.
Ill never forget that and will stay at los arcos for now on.
Also the fun bartender I'm sorry I don't remember your name but always great music and smiling and just getting the party started.
In January I will get his name and write another.
To all the servers bartenders in the restaurant and on the beach or by the pool and the rest of the staff the same.
Thank you!
Already on the flight home looking forward to coming back.

The special meal area should be on the beach not outside under the kitchen fans the meals from it also came stone cold. The restaurant really needs to control the birds like previously we always had to guard our food as well the chairs always had bird feces on them our clean table as birds were flying over and dropping feces. Please go back to having the falcon person there. Rooms need updating new kitchen ware as well as maybe microwaves.

Los Arcos Suites is in a great spot in the heart of Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone, so it’s perfect if you want easy access to the beach clubs, restaurants, bars, and shops. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t very clean and didn’t meet basic standards. We did have to ask that the bathroom sink and shower be scrubbed. The staff was great at all times and super friendly. The suite does have a kitchen; however, we did not use it because it was also in need of deep cleaning. The floor also requires deep cleaning. While the suites were comfortable and quiet compared to the main property, we recommend that the rooms be cleaned to the same standard. I’d suggest this place for travelers on a budget or those who plan to be out most of the time, but if you care a lot about room cleanliness, you might want to consider other options.

The property itself was well maintained, with clean and tidy grounds that made a good first impression. The pool area was also a highlight—clean, well kept, and a nice place to relax. Another big plus was the location, with easy walking distance to the beach and nearby shops, which made getting around very convenient.

That said, the rooms were a letdown. They felt outdated, and there was a noticeable old furniture smell that took away from the overall comfort of the stay. With some updates and attention to the interior, this property could offer a much better experience.

The staff was amazing they made our stay extra special. This property is a great value for what you get. It’s definitely an authentic Mexican hotel. Felix the housekeeper was amazing and Antonio Rodriguez the front desk clerk was amazing! Also the night lady was amazing as well. Lupita took good care of me for breakfast as was delightful. We actually stayed here for the hamburgers at the burger bar because they’re the best hamburgers and french fries you’ll have anywhere and Manuela took good care of us. She was a delight and made us the best burgers ever all the staff here were very good. The buffet food was amazing. It was home cooked patty, authentic Mexican food, and it was healthy. This is a great resort. I highly suggest anybody to come here.

The ac worked efficiently and we slept well. The room needed some updates and the building doesn’t have a gym facility. Regardless, I would definitely come back to this hotel and I rarely ever stay in the same place twice.

We arrived about an hour early and were pleased that our room was already ready. The room was spacious with a separate sitting area/couch and decent size deck. There is a kitchenette as well (but not microwave). The room was a little dated and is due for some updating. That said, the staff were all very helpful and outgoing. The clerk who checked us in (I didn't get her name) was really friendly and made sure we had all the information about the 3 hotels/resorts and what amenities we would find at the other properties. And Emilliano the night clerk gave us all kinds of information and helped us with out practicing our Spanish. Los Arcos suites is sister properties with Casa Susana across the street and Playa Los Arcos 1 block away that has direct beach access. All in all this hotel is due for a little bit of a makeover, but if you are overlook that, you should really enjoy your stay. We tend to not spend much time in our room or the hotel, unless at the pool, so we don't need 5 star amenities. Also the location can't be beat. For the money, Los Arcos Suites was a great value. I would defintiely stay here again.

The restrooms need to be remodeled. They may be clean but looked dirty. It took us four hours to check in. They couldn’t find our reservation. We had to cancel and rebook with Expedia. The food was so so and I simply did not enjoy it here. I’ve been to valllarta for years and this is the second time I am disappointed. It’s not necessary. If the room is a 100.00 room, why do you charge 200.00? It’s not nice.

Location was great but it was truly the people that made our stay even better. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to stay longer. Elizabeth made the changes and was always there for any assistance or questions we needed answered. Her consistent friendliness and smile amidst her being so busy with all of the guests truly makes her one of a kind. All of the staff was great, from the beach staff to the restaurant and Front desk. All were very helpful and accommodating. The only slight downfall of hotels.com( not the Los Arcos suites)- if you book Los Arcos Suites specifically, you do not get access to the Los Arcos Hotel pool that is pictured on hotels.com, you just get the beach access with towels and chairs (was not a big deal since we enjoyed the beach. But helpful for those expecting to have access to the downstairs pool. )There is access to a smaller rooftop pool across the street but does not have beach view. Overall, a great stay! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Everything else was fine, except for the bad experience my family had at Hotel Los Arcos (I think it's also part of your chain). On their last day, they discovered that money ($80.00 USD) was missing from their room. The room had been cleaned even though they had a \"Do Not Disturb\" sign on the door. A report was filed, but since they were checking out the next day, the management did nothing. They said their staff was trustworthy, but their belongings (bags and other items) were not where they had left them.

This was our third stay at this resort and it was fantastic! The staff were all in credibly friendly, the room was always well taken care of, our food was very good at each of the spots, the pools were super relaxing, the spa was the perfect beginning to our trip and I felt generally safe to be myself throughout the entire stay. Very well located across the street from its sister hotel, Playa Los Arcos and beach access. Breakfast vouchers were given to enjoy the buffet breakfast which offered a delicious selection depending on the day. Don’t sleep on the French toast/pancake station and the “eggs your way”. The room smelled a little damp which is to be expected due to the humidity and proximity to the ocean but was remedied by burning the candle I brought with me. Very strict on their wrist band policy but I made it so I could slip it off for the evenings I was going to a nice restaurant.

Amazing spot right in the middle of town but surprisingly quiet and secluded with its central courtyard. We got a room facing the courtyard (travelling with a baby), and it was super quiet and our monitor reached the pool. You also get beachfront access to the towels and chairs through the sister hotel.

The staff are amazing and the property is clean. The room was a bit outdated but spacious and cool. The kitchen was very sparse but we didn’t need to cook while there.

Overall, amazing spot and we will be back next time we are in PV!

The staff were excellent. We arrived 3 hours before check-in and they let us check-in early and upgraded our room to a bigger suite. Then when we went to check out they let us use the facilities for 3 extra hours as we had nowhere to be. So lovely. The furniture is getting older, the internet wasn’t always working in our room, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

I struggled writing this review because I truly appreciated some aspects of Los Arcos Suites, but there were also areas that really missed the mark for me.

The hotel staff was nice, and the main lobby/pool area was actually more than I expected—beautiful, lively, and a great place to relax. The location and pricing were also excellent, and I wasn’t expecting luxury for what I paid.

Where I really struggled was with the cleanliness of the room. The floors and walls felt like they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned or wiped down in a very long time. The hallway floor outside our door was noticeably cleaner than inside our room. The furniture, walls, and overall space just needed a deep scrubbing, and it made the room feel neglected.

On a positive note, I didn’t see any bugs, and the bed was comfortable.

Overall, while the location and price are great, the cleanliness is something I can’t overlook. Because of that, I personally wouldn’t recommend this hotel to friends or family unless they make improvements to the rooms.

We really enjoyed our time here. First off, the location is superb -- within a two min. walk are the beach, many restaurants, shops, pharmacies, bars, etc. Yet the hotel itself always felt miles away: very chill, relaxed atmosphere. Mostly older people or families, so not lots of crazy partying, no noise problems.

The room was spacious and comfy and the cleaners did a great job. We had a king, but it felt like a California king, since it was huge. We didn't use the sofa bed, but it looked full or queen sized if anyone is considering it. The balcony was great. Having a little fridge was good.

All hotel staff were nice and helpful. The pool was warm to a great level, and relaxing. Access to the neighboring hotel for beach and breakfast was appreciated. Breakfast was expansive and impressive.

All in all, we loved this place and would come back in a heartbeat. My daughter made me promise we would, in fact. And the price was excellent. No complaints, only praise.

The building it self was older, and could use a little TLC. Our room was clean, the pool was OK, and the staff were great. The location is perfect in Zona Romantica. Close to the action but just far enough away from the nearest bars to get some sleep. Staying at the Los Arcos suites gives you beach access at their resort about 100meters away on the beach, and the adult pool across the street. They all have the same owners. In our package we had breakfast each day at the resort buffet. The food and staff there were good as well. I would stay there again.

We enjoyed the suite, however the overall Los arcos experience was middle grade.
The food was not that great. The “free” massage was 15 minutes lol
The upgrade room was the same room as the others. The alley below was always filled with Trucks and noise.
They were working on the hotel and we had strong paint fumes coming out of our ac unit for 2 days. The water pressure was terrible.
Overall the area is decent if you like gay dude filled sidewalks and vendors always pushing the garbage to sell.
Things have gotten more expensive as well due to greed.

Great location! 2 minute walk to main hotel and beach, used their pools and beach club (loungers and umbrella)
Large room with sperate living and kitchen area.
Pool was a good size and almost always empty.
Aircon was fabulous.
Service was magnificent. Staff were above and beyond friendly.
Gold status got us free breakfast daily and 1 15 minute massage.

Cons:
Outside light usually on, room was pretty lit up even with curtain.
Hotel is a bit dated but clean, bed was so-so comfy, manageable.
Bugs in pool because of beautiful vine wall.. but would benefit from additional daily skimming throughout the day.
No privacy doorhanger, and we gave the cleaning ladies a show ;)

The hotel was in the malecón area so there were so many food options and had access to a beach. The hotel allows you to use seats on the beach as an included benefit. The food however was not good at all. So you will definitely need to purchase your own food off site. The drinks were also not good. The hotel could have been cleaner and we saw two small roaches in our room when we stayed. The proximity to everything is the big plus here.

We like the area the property is located in because of the ease of walking, location to the beach, and the food & drink options. The stay here was miserable due to the inattention of the front desk. I spoke to them on four different occasions (in the span of 3 days) about the AC in the room not working well. The weather during the majority of our stay was extremely warm and humid therefore this was not a minor issue. We compared our room to the rooms of others that traveled with us to verify that our AC was indeed not working correctly. I was told that the AC was checked and everything was good. This is not acceptable. We were there to vacation, we were not to waste our valuable time every day asking for the staff to address this issue. We do not recommend this property at all.

Hi this is josue from Beaumont ca ive stayed in varies hotels in the area this one is the worst of them all we got in sat 3 am because our flogyt was delayed i had changed hotels to this one because the location was better major mistake we get there at 3 am the lady at the front desk has an attitude from tje beginning i can tell she a huge b i explaned to her that the original reservation was for 4 people but chsntee hotels forgot to put for 3 people the reservstion was set up for 2 peoplr she said there was an up charge of 25.00 i psid extra 100 dollars i was soo tired i didnt want to argue with her then as we were out one night we came with a friend he was just droping us off and she waa like he cant come in rudly we explained he was jusr droping is off so i argued with her told her since we checked in she was rude and that i would ve speaking to management about her
Then the next day my cousin and her friend he gets kicked out again that he coulnt be there period and then they went to the Beach were the hotel has an area for guest she again tols
The guys that worked there to kick them out i was in schock i will never stay at this hotel again dont waste youre money the hotel had mold in the restroom ceiling and not updated didnt look
Nothing like the pictures and to top it off extreme rules that were a little too much. This was for the location Los Arcos Suites there are two l Locations not The Beach one The Suites I sincerely hope that someone talks to that lady .

My family had a wonderful time staying here at Los Arcos suites. I loved our little balcony that overlooked the streets. The Staff was really friendly. We had access to Lowe’s Arcos resort. Had a wonderful there every morning. The cleaning ladies did a wonderful job every day.. super good location.

Spacious rooms and very quiet. I really appreciated the kitchenette. Though the pool is smaller than Playa Los Arcos, it’s also much less crowded. So that was a plus! And you get all the same amenities as staying at Playa Los Arcos down the road.

I didn’t like the fact that room 408 has thick mold growing in the closet where the safe is. I didn’t like the fact that when we returned to the room there was a roach. I didn’t like the fact that on our first and only night there my daughter was woken up at 3am by a bed bug bite! Then we had to wait till 9am for the supervisor to get the credit machine to return our money, which we had to fight for because she only wanted to return what I had paid her there and not the deposit I had made through Expedia. We were so scared to go back in the room so we slept in the lawn chairs by the pool. FYI- look up every and any review you can on several websites! Not just Expedia. Luckily we booked another hotel on the spot which was 100 times better. And funny thing- one of their employees was aware of the problem but is not allowed to say so. And their other 2 locations have the same problem.

Spent most of our time at Casa Dona Susana, the rooftop pool was great. Diana and Max were great hosts. Shout out to some of the bartenders at Los Arcos, Alexander, Angel, Victor, and Aaron are just like brothers, so funny and kind. The Mexican people are wonderful, treat you just like family.
