Hotels.com charged us for breakfast when it was included in our rooms. Also, breakfast was not that great: coffee was passable, churros were dry, and there was not much fruit selection.
For the price we were charged I would've expected better. I guess we paid for the location.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel during our trip to Aranjuez. The view of the palace was beautiful. The hotel is very beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff was great we goth there a few hours earlier from a long flight and the staff was so nice to give us the room earlier. This made the start of our trip great! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort cleanliness and a touch of charm in Aranjuez

My stay at the NH Collection Palacio de Aranjuez was an absolute delight. This beautiful older hotel has a classic charm that immediately makes you feel welcome.
I was particularly impressed with the size of the room—it was truly huge, which is a rare and pleasant surprise. It felt more like a spacious apartment than a standard hotel room, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. The hotel is also packed with convenient amenities that made the stay even more comfortable.
The bed was a standout feature; it was excellent, providing a perfect night's sleep. The quality of the bed and linens truly made a difference.
The front desk staff were also very nice, welcoming me with a friendly and helpful demeanor. Their service contributed to the overall positive experience.
If you're looking for a hotel with classic elegance, exceptionally large rooms, and wonderful amenities, the NH Collection Palacio de Aranjuez is an excellent choice.

Beautiful clean hotel very spacious rooms comfy bed great shower and mini bar only downside for me was no bacon at breakfast but the selection was still very nice, 36 euro just for the dog to stay with us one night was a bit harsh and i thought id paid for it on arrival check in but was asked on checkout to settle it. But on the whole would stay agian as its a great big hotel and the little town with bars and restraunts is just around the corner ,and the hotel bar is good and the bar staff are nice guys who served us as we enjoyed a glass of wine on the hotels patio.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. Location was wonderful, parking was easy, gym was small but sufficient. The town of Aranjuez was beautiful and a joy to explore.

Our only complaint was the bed was hard as a rock but that is also personal preference.

At checkin they pushed me to pay a bit extra for an upgraded room, which I did since that included parking (otherwise you have to buy that separately). Room was spacious even by American standards; by European standards it was massive. It is directly across from the royal palace and my room had a fantastic view from the balcony. I did, however, have trouble finding the hotel as I was driving around on the wrong side of the palace. My upgraded room had vaulted ceiling, small safe, mini bar, wifi,. There is a coffee maker and a separate hot water maker for tea, plus a corkscrew. Bathroom had heated towel rack, robes and slippers, and a separate shower and bathtub, plus toilet and bidet. Breakfast buffet is very generous with lots of options. Only complaint is parking garage is a bit tight (which I experienced throughout Spain).

The staff were all without exception very friendly and helpfull, even though we did not speak Spanish. That was a highlight. I was disappointed that the sauna was not in operation in the gym. The excuse this was due to the risk of Covid is not plausibel. There is no recorded case of someone catching Covid in a sauna and no one was wearing masks in the hotel anyway. It seems this is only a measure to reduce cost for the hotel, then you should be honest and reduce the cost of the accomodation. Also there was no water available at all in the gym, although there was an empty fridge. In summary not the 5 star experience I expected.

Hotel has a unique location facing the royal palace. It's in easy walking distance to the most important sights:palace, island park,parterre park, plazas,san antonio church,etc. Lots of restaurant nearby. Highly recommend hotel's breakfast. The libby bar is cozy and nice.

We got an upgrade into a suite,with wonderful palace view! The rooms are very well equiped with everything we need. The shower is nice. The rooms are really quiey. We never heard any noise even on a fully booked night.

The staffs were very welcoming and helpful, going extra miles to make our stay a memorable one. Thank you! We highly recommend the NH Collection Palacial at Aranjuez.

All the staff bend over backwards to make our stay most comfortable and enjoyable it is our GO TO hotel when traveling between South and North Europe by car.

The front desk always help us in any way they can.

As for Giovanny at the bar and restaurant I can only say one word in Spanish……divino!

This is a hotel that claims to be pet friendly but is not. Letting clients bring a pet but supplying no facilities is NOT pet friendly. No provision for dining with a pet inside or out. Told to eat dinner and breakfast in a central quandrangle with no tables laid, bring your own food and cutlery from the restaurant was the best they could suggest with no duty manager available to raise this with Plus no gold membership extras offered.....no upgrade (probably because of the dog) no free parking and no late check out offered. Message to the general manager...if you wish to present yourself as pet friendly I suggest you pay a visit to the El Toro Spa Hotel in Pamplona.....they will show you how its done. PET OWNERS DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

We chose to upgrade our room to make the most of the lovely view and the complimentary bathrobes etc. this also covers the cost of the secure parking. We enjoyed our breakfast and the staff were very conscientious and pleased to offer help. We would choose this hotel again. We had a lovely nights sleep after a long drive.

Beautiful hotel with soaring ceilings directly in front of the palace, and every room was a small balcony. There is an abundance of free parking in front of the hotel. Free coffee and lotion is available upon request at reception, but it would be much better to have it automatically included in the hotel room before arrival... There was a problem with aggressive flies in the hotel but this is a result of the many linden trees surrounding the property. I highly recommend this hotel and will only return to NH for next time in Aranjuez

The location is the best available if you're main purpose is touring the palace and adjoining gardens -- no hotel is better situated. The spacious room on the second floor was ... interesting. VERY high ceilings, perhaps 16 feet or more. An interior door closes off the room from the whole bathroom area, increasing privacy and decreasing noise from the hallway -- a highly welcome touch. However, the corporate decor is getting dated in a hurry; very mid-1990s. The lack of amenities was strange: we had shampoo and soap, but no conditioner or lotion. Also, no bottled water. The Keurig espresso maker in the room is a solid touch, but you need to go down to the desk to ask for a kit containing the pods, along with teas and creamers/sugar. That's an odd trip to have to make, even in COVID times. Finally, we found the front-desk team to be diffident. Perhaps that's because we booked through a third-party site. But still, a little warmth and graciousness wouldn't hurt.

Reat hotel in disappointing location.

We felt safe and comfortable. Unfortunately we were stopping for only one night, en route home from Santander. We regretted not taking swimsuits in order to use the spa facilities.
The restaurant meal was excellent as was the service .
However the hotel is the best thing about Olmedo. So many of the old buildings are derelict and what coukd be a beautiful old town like Avila ir Teruel is depressing and neglected.

Do you want to be in front of a Royal Palace in a historic UNESCO town surrounded a gorgeous garden, but staying in an old building from the outside but a ultra modern in the inside? An ideal hotel for us as it is opposite the Royal Palace which we wanted to visit and very close to the restaurant/tapas bar area. British visitors will appreciate the tea making facilities in each bedroom. It is clean, comfortable with friendly helpful staff and secure parking. However no restaurant only a bar but has an excellent breakfast buffet.

For a small charge we upgraded to secure parking under the hotel and a room with a breathtaking view of the palace. Room was enormous with modern well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was extra but well worth it with a generous mix of Spanish and international dishes.

Perfectly located next to the Palace and the centre of town. Polite and helpful staff went out of their way to assist. Very clean and comfortable. Shame there wasn't a bigger gym or a swimming pool but the Royal Gardens made a nice change to the treadmill. I will definitely be returning.

Smart hotel opposite the palace.

This hotel was just right for an overnight stay half way on our journey from Santander to the Costa del Sol. We received a friendly welcome in reception but did not need to use the underground car parking as there were plenty of spaces in the street. The building has a historical feel to it with very high ceilings but the rooms are furnished in a modern style with modern bathroom fittings. We enjoyed the in-room tea/coffee making equipment which is unusual in Spain. Best of all was room service which brought delicious meals to our room. Everyone spoke good English which made life easier.
