The room was very clean and comfortable with nice amenities - robe, slippers, toiletries, water, tea/coffee. The bell girl was very helpful and I felt safe as a solo woman! Note that there are not curtains but instead blackout blinds that are controlled by a remote and then a sheer cover for the daytime. (no room service except for breakfast)

Beautiful, flawless hotel with 5* Spa

A truly beautiful hotel, all details thought of and well managed - such as a bed side light switch which turns off ALL lights.

How many times have you had to run around a hotel room trying to turn off all lights including the decorative ones?

The place oozes class and its spa is lovely.

Recently renovated, very nice rooms. Great atmoshpere, unusually friendly staff. Parking garage very convenient underneath the hotel. Great location in city center, just a short walk to the pedestrian zone.

Good all round experience

Stayed here a few times now. Always receive good service throughout. The bar is a good place for a drink and a light meal, the barman is certainly a lively character! Comfortable room and good shower. Room hot but can open large windows. Breakfast a little under whelming considering the €20 fee.

A little dated, but superbly maintained, clean and tidy. For a more rainy day/ relaxing it would be nice to have a better range of English film/ subtitled channels.

All staff were friendly and accommodating and tolerant of my ropey German!

My wish-list? A modest swimming facility would be excellent.

I will be returning.

Ideal for business in the local area

Old fashioned yet in a good way. Lots of wood in the reception area with a mirrored ceiling! Friendly welcome at reception. The bar was lively and great service, drinks and currywurst good. Room was fine although on the warm side, Good shower. TV was pretty redundant, most channels didn't have reception, no big deal though.

Awesome location but not good Customer Service

I stayed at the hotel a few times before. Great location. In the heart of Guetersloh, 5 minutes walk from the train station and a short walk to the beautiful Stadtpark. Very safe area. The hotel is very nice and clean but the rooms are a little dated but have AC what is a big plus!
During my stay there was a big event going on at the Dance Studio across the street. It was not noisy but there wasn’t any parking available. Not even at the parking garage across the street. When I came back from shopping a few times and ask the young guy at the reception if I could park my car for 5 minutes at the hotel loading zone to carry my bags upstairs he told me NO. Totally unexceptionable!!!! So I had to park each time really far away and schlepp all my bags in the heat to the hotel. Customer Service is for sure not a priority at this hotel. I am a huge world traveler and this was unacceptable!!! Customer Service is sooooo important. When I checked out he did apologize for the parking situation but I think it was a little too late.

One of our favourite hotels and we visit every time we visit Germany but we were disappointed that the main restaurant is not open on Saturday and Sunday evening only lunchtime however there is also an Italian restaurant within the hotel and maybe the park restaurant is open during the summer as it is lovely to sit out in the beautiful surroundings for dinner

Nice Hotel, good gym equipment

We booked late and arrived very late in the evening. We requested a 3 person room but they had none available so they gave us 2 x 2 person rooms. 1 of the rooms was a major upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. The gym has treadmills, a stationary bike, and weight equipment...all in good working order.

Fab hotel near gutersloh

Hotel was amazing room was very spacious for my family bed was comfy bathroom was clean. Was very impressed as just booked it as was close to amenities. Hotel staff were amazing helped alot with taxis and restaurants as language barrier was hard. Highly recommended and will stay here again if i go germany again.

this is an excellent hotel close to the station

We stay here when visiting our son who used to live nearby. He has since moved to marienfeld and we now stay with him and his wife at the weekend but we prefer to stay in Gutersloh as we are nearer to facilities when they are at work and it is handy for us to catch the train to various other towns and dusseldorf airport

Beautifully decorated lobby and nice room. Clean and good size. However, the wifi is very very bad. Not recommand for biz usage who depends on hotel's free wifi. Nice quiet area, but a bit overprice.

Arrived late at night for a two night stay, tired and hungry from a long journey. Left fully re-charged again. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the hotel was a very relaxing place to be with wonderful spaces within the grounds.

A parents return

Booked as a return for my parents who lived in Gutersloh many years ago. They said their stay at this hotel was as close to perfect as you could get. The hotel, the staff an the food were all fantastic. Would recommend without a doubt.

Great hotel in every way fron busuness to pleasure

This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in for value for money. Everything was excellent including the location which is 5mins walk from town and 5mins walk to station. The hotel restaurant is good for lunch or dinner and very reasonable and if the weather is fine outdoor dining is particularly nice in the beautiful surroundings. All the staff where very helpful and friendly. This was our second visit as our son works in Gutersloh and is definitely the best hotel in the area.

Very Good Hotel

I honestly cannot criticise this hotel, it's close to the town and was very well run. The staff were always willing to help, the room was kept clean and the two restaurants were excellant. If I had to be picky the barman could learn some manners but the bar itself was comfortable and stylish. I'll definitely stay there again.

Huomioitavaa oli kuitenkin, että kahden hengen huoneessa oli tarvikkeet (pyyhkeet jne.) vain yhdelle hengelle - tästä piti ilmoittaa erikseen.

Enige wat minder was, het betaalde parkeren onder het hotel was 12 euro per volle dag, terwijl aan de overkant van de straat je 8 euro betaalde voor veel meer ruimte.

Darauf achten die neuen Zimmer zu nehmen

Hotel sehr zentral gelegen. Recht verwinkelt und hat den Charm der 80iger. Einige Zimmer wurden auch schon restauriert und sehr gut.

Wir werden wieder hier logieren ...

Das Hotel ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und man merkt, dass man darauf auch Wert legt. Leider war die Bar geschlossen, was wir sehr bedauert haben. Wir werden aber wieder hier logieren wenn wir wieder einmal in Gūtersloh sind.

Einziger Negativpunkt ist die Dusche bzw. Badewanne: Es ist schier unmöglich zu duschen, ohne das Bad unter Wasser zu setzen. Das angebrachte Wändchen war absolut undicht...

hervorragender Aufenthalt, jederzeit gerne wieder, Nur das Zimmer sollte nicht so kalt übergeben werden, Heizung auf 5 gestellt was nicht all zuviel brachte aber ok war. Klimasteuerung (wäre zum Heizen sicher auch verwendbar gewesen) nicht gefunden war aber auch kein Problem

Das Hotel ist ein schönes Hotel aus den gefühlten achtziger Jahren. Das Personal ist außer ordentlich freundlich, Essen und Frühstück sehr gut.
