The room was spotless, including the bathroom, had everything i needed, showers were great and really hot too.

This really is a special place to visit, i was staying as a base for my cycling and it was great.
Resteraunt menu was fine but could do with a little more love
Breakfast was good with lots of cold options, pastries,m ham cheese cereals ect.

Overall a great place to experience and stay,

An incredible and affordable location to rest you head for a couple of nights but it is very remote, the pool is actually a 5- 10 min walk from the hotel and is only open 10.30-18.30 and can get very busy, a bus load of small children arrived while we were there and took over the pool for the last hour and a half of the day.
This place doesn’t have a holiday vibe it’s definitely a monastery with a public pool. The breakfast is good albeit basic but it’s included so that’s a budget bonus.
Over all a great clean well priced place to stay to see the surroundings but a couple of nights was probably one too many.

Lovely stay at Santuari de Lluc. We stayed for 5 nights and even though it was hot it was bearable with the fans in the room. We had dinner at the nearby restaurant which was fab and the surroundings are just beautiful! We had absolutely no complaints for the price of our stay.

Good value but only a fan in the room made the stay quite uncomfortable in such warm weather. Breakfast was okay, though all 3 coffee machines stopped working halfway through service so options were limited to hot chocolate or boiling water.

Hotel also hosts school trips or summer camps so the pool was very busy.

Good price, but perhaps not what we were looking for on this trip. Everything was as advertised and the fault is partly mine for underestimating the heat and assuming it would be fine with a fan!

Lots of nice walks in the area, best early morning or in the evening. Nearby restaurant very good, didn't eat in the hotel restaurant for dinner as staff seemed a bit cold.

Lots of plusses. Some minusses: can’t stand waterproof under sheets so took them off.
Also, no bedside lights for reading, so main overhead light, or nothing - not so good if your spouse wants to read, but you don’t, or vice-versa.

The property is incredibly peaceful and tranquil ...... especially before & after the visitors have left. It has a lovely feel to it. There are good restaurant facilities, especially the one near the main entrance.
It is basically an hour from anywhere by car, but a great place to get away from it all. Doubles rooms at front of teh hotel are worth teh extra. Amazing views of the front area with mountains behind great you when opening the shutters. The place is 'no frills', but a fantastic place to stay if you want to be in a more remote and quiet location

The hotel, grounds and pool were idyllic and really lovely, we paid for half board breakfast was ok although they were constantly running out of bowls, coffee cups and orange juice etc. The evening meal was shocking table service and a menu to choose starter main and desert from. It was all pre prepared and then microwaved though, we put our order in with the waiter and it arrived within seconds the food wasn’t great but the service from the waiters was shocking, plates pretty much thrown down on the table, no customer service skills whatsoever, so much so that by the third night I found it quite amusing sitting watching waiting to see what would happen next. So overall enjoy the stay, it’s lovely but don’t eat at the restaurant!

Quiet stay in historic monastery

Beautiful converted monastery. Our room overlooked an inner courtyard. It was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the included breakfast onsite and also chose to have dinner there. The location and grounds are spectacular and worth exploring.

A Mallorquin must stay!

I remember staying here as a kid in the 70s and the warm welcome and charm has not been lost. As a solo traveller on the GR221 all I wanted was a clean, comfortable and quiet overnight stay in preparation for the last leg of the Ruta de Pedra en Sec the day after. My room was basic and clean with an old fashioned charm that reminded me of a hostel rather than hotel which was perfect. Welcoming and unpretentious. Don't not hesitate to stay here you won't regret it.

What a beautiful setting. Staff are very welcoming, and the grounds are very relaxing.

The single room is incredibly basic but that was expected and makes stepping out of your door feel even more special. Dinner at the hotel was very reasonably priced.

Loads of lovely walking routes in the area, the pool and botanic garden were great too.

Only downside for me is the shower in the single room. Its very small. If you're a bigger person it may be difficult for you.

I would definitely return here.

I’ve done a couple solo spiritual retreats here. I’ve stayed in the single rooms and the larger 2nd floor rooms. Both times in the fall and it was lovely. Thankfully I brought my own fan and extension cord. Although the larger room does have a fan, I plugged mine near the window and brought the coole air in at night. This was in September and October so I imagine one would especially need one in the hotter summer months!
The larger room had a fridge and a small slightly deep bathtub. Sitting under the stars at night was quite magical and although there were many tourists and cyclists coming and going, I never had trouble finding a quiet spot up the hill. Venturing out particularly early one morning, I was able to see a sweet herd of goats popping over the rocks! Great little local shop with local cheeses, wines and produce straight from their garden, right outside the main entrance.

Beautiful quiet place and we had a comfortable stay. We used the pool facilities and had a nice walk up behind the monastery. It is a bit remote and not many facilities around. Our only disappointment was that we were supposed to have room cleaning every 3 nights (we stayed 5) but no one came - I just wanted more bath gel.

Great location for some fabulous walks. Superior room and kitchenette rooms excellent and quiet. No air conditioning, but with fan on, windows open and bug machine on, it is possible to sleep ok. Half board was manageable for 3 days, but everything is fried/grilled and steeped in salt, so would struggle for any longer. One waiter seemed to take great delight in being rude to everyone, particularly about table seating. Just accept it and it won’t mar your stay. The rest of the stay were very good.
Consider it as a very up market youth hostel - way better value than any youth hostel we have used in the uk. Parking was 4e for entire stay. You need to park in the main car park and will be given a replacement barrier ticket when you check in.

Das Zimmer war erwartungsgemäß schlicht. Ein Wasserkocher als Standard wäre nicht schlecht. Frühstück relativ basic, aber ok. Der Automatenkaffee war sehr gut.
Das Sofa war sehr weich zum schlafen. Eines der Betten mit Holzfüssen war wackelig.
Die Umgebung traumhaft.
Vorsicht aber: man hat versucht, während der Weihnachtsmesse unser Auto aufzubrechen.

Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Lage und Umgebung in den Bergen von Mallorca sind wirklich schön. Wenn man viel wandern will, wirklich perfekt. Frühstück ist sehr einfach. Die Zimmer waren sauber, aber sind wirklich sehr spartanisch ausgestattet. Auch wenns ein Kloster ist, wäre es schön man könnte seine Sachen verstauen und im Bade eine Kosmetiktasche ablegen. Betten waren ziemlich durchgelegen. Insgesamt trotzdem ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Eine sehr gut gelegene, idyllische Unterkunft. Die Ausstattung ist für eine altes Kloster angemessen. Neben den Schlafzimmern gab es eine Wohn/Esszimmer und eine Küche. Diese war mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Das Bad war zweckmäßig. Wer hier Luxus erwartet, wird enttäuscht sein. Ebenso ist es sehr hellhörig, was einem die Nachtruhe verderben kann. Die beiden Hähne geben morgens ihren Senf auch dazu. Der Pool reichte für eine Abkühlung. Das Frühstück typisch Spanisch, ausreichendes Grundangebot.

Dennoch…. Eine hervorragende Lage als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Erkundungen im Westlichen Bereich der Insel. Ein gutes Restaurant in direkter Nachbarschaft kann auch gerne an drei Abenden hintereinander besucht werden.

Por onde começar . Não havia serviços de quarto , estive hospedado durante 5 dias e nunca foi limpo, as refeições eram péssimas . As 9h30 o pequeno almoço começava a ser arrumado , perguntei a um funcionário , ainda foi rude . E ainda mandaram levantar um casal de uma mesa para nós nos sentarmos e não mudaram os talheres que as outras pessoas deixaram . A piscina deveria abrir as 10h30 mas não é o caso .

Ein sehr schönes Kloster und Hotel. Tolle Lage mitten in den Bergen.
Wir haben exakt das gebuchte Zimmer im obersten Stock bekommen mit kleiner Küchenzeile (alles Notwendige zum schnellen Kochen vorhanden incl Spülutensilien, Kühl- und Gefrierschrank), schlicht aber alles sehr ordentlich und sauber. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Ein zweiter Stuhl im Zimmer wäre schön gewesen. Zum Flur etwas hellhörig, und da unser Zimmer direkt über dem Restaurant war, abends länger laut. Sonst ruhig.
Gutes und ausreichendes Frühstück, es wird laufend abgeräumt und aufgefüllt. Restaurants haben wir nicht genutzt. Der kleine Shop hat das Nötigste da (auch Pasta), erhöhte Preise aber das weiß man ja vorher.
Das Kloster lohnt eine Besichtigung, der kleine Botanische Garten ist sehr romantisch!
Abzug gibt es nur dafür dass der Pool erst am 2.6. öffnet. Das steht leider nirgends und hatten wir für uns fest zum Relaxen eingeplant.
Wir würden wiederkommen.

First off, the location is the absolute highlight of the accommodation. Every day I walked up the small road up the mountain to enjoy the gorgeous view. It’s also very peaceful although during the day groups of tourists do visit the monastery grounds.

The rooms are very basic, but for someone who only stays there to sleep, it was perfect. The food was also quite basic (I had breakfast & dinner) but the service of the staff at the restaurant left a little bit to be desired.

But overall I would definitely recommend staying here!

Zimmer einfach und schlicht wie angegeben/dargestellt.

Gute Lage für Wanderungen im Tramuntana Gebirge. Schöne Anlage.
Parken auf dem offiziellen Wander-/Ausflugsparkplatz. Ticket wird dann an der Rezeption getauscht, sodass man während seinem Aufenthalt aus und einfahren kann wie man möchte. Kostet pro Aufenthalt 4€.

Unterkunft wirbt mit Fotos von besseren Zimmern. Leider sind nicht alle Zimmer in dem Zustand, wie es auf den gängigen Buchungsplattformen angeboten wird. Wir hatten ein Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern gebucht. Leider war es ziemlich eng und hat auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Ein Schlafzimmer hatte gar kein Fenster. Das Apartment hatte wenig mit den Bildern sonder Buchung gemeinsam. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. War auch gut so, da Kochen in der kleinen Küche nur schwer möglich wäre. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist OK. Top Essen kann man dafür allerdings nicht erwarten. Personal war freundlich und stets bemüht.
Ein Pluspunkt war noch, dass man das Frühstück in ein Picknick-Paket umwandeln kann. Das ist dann für frühe Abreisen vor dem Frühstück sehr hilfreich (am Vortag aushändigen lassen).

En marge du balnéo tourisme

3 jours atypiques dans un lieu chargé d'histoire et en retrait de l'agitation des stations balnéaires. Logement modeste et fonctionnel, personnel a la réception très charmant, très grande piscine, cadre exceptionnel. A sa fermeture le sanctuaire et ses jardins deviennent un lieu réservé aux seuls résidents qui peuvent jouir de tous les espaces.

Séjour au calme dans cadre magnifique

Logement situé dans un monastère en plein milieu des montagnes, le cadre est vraiment magnifique et on est à même pas 20 minutes des plages (Pollença).
Les logements sont spacieux et fonctionnels.
La piscine est dans un joli cadre elle aussi (montagnes et arbres). On passe par le jardin botanique pour y accéder.
Il y a un musée à visiter qui est très intéressant aussi.
Les serveurs du restaurant sont très accueillants et le personnel à la réception également.
Nous ne pouvons que vous recommander vivement ce logement !

It was an awesome stay. The breakfast was good and had all sorts of products, since gluten free to lactose free.
The staff is lovely and very helpful throughout your stay.

Traumhafte Lage in dem Bergen und sehr gepflegtes alte Gebäude. Das Zimmer war jedoch unter aller Kanone! Die Möbel waren eigentlich nur Sperrmüll und die Sauberkeit eine echte Zumutung.

Unieke historische voormalig klooster in een ademb

Unieke historische voormalig klooster in een adembenemende omgeving. Kamers eenvoudig maar zeer functioneel in oorspronkelijke staat. Prima maar eenvoudig ontbijt. Restaurant biedt prima kaart met ook veel lokale gerechten. Zwembad is er ook, maar die wordt overdag vanaf 1500 uur gedeeld met jeugd van de in het complex aanwezige school (heb je verder geen last van)

sehr weit entfernt und man kann den Ort nur mit Mietwagen erreichen. Zimmerservice erst ab 3 Tagen möglich. man muss nach Handtüchern fragen. Das einzig gute ist der Ort, weil es ein Kloster ist und somit sehenswert, aber wenig Auswahl an Einkäufen oder Umgebung.

Remote but amazing

From Palma the taxi takes us approx 45 minutes to the hotel in Lluc. It’s located up in the mountain area with all that comes with it. It’s remote but has everything you want on a holiday. A medieval complex area, green forests, great value of dinners, pool area is great. But expect no beaches or tourist traps.

absolutely unique yes it's in Mallorca but way up in the mountains at a historic monastery! to wake up in the massive old stone building open the shutters and look up at the mountain - well it doesn't get any better! It is extremely cheap and the standard is high! remember to include half board during your stay! in relation to the price, the half board is really good! we give it 5 stars!

Très bel endroit, calme, reposant. La réceptionniste a été super à notre arrivée bonne explications de bon conseils sur les choses à faire. Chambre vu sur la montagne très jolie, avec le reveil au son des bêlements des chèvres qui sont dans les arbres jiste en face. La chambre est très correcte, il y a ce qu'il faut, peut etre un seche cheveux ne serait pas de refus. Le point negatif serait l'isolation car parfois l'impression que le voisin de chambre qui parlait très très fort etait avec nous dans la chambre. Sinon un petit déjeuner plus que correct, buffet à volonté, sucré et salé. Personnel très agreable.

Excellent sejour de 5 nuits dans l'hotellerie du sanctuaire. Très bonne situation pour randos et autotours. Parking avantageux de 4€/j pour les pensionnaires. Chambre un peu spartiate, mais propre. Celles donnant sur la place devant l'hotellerie sont exposées au bruit jusque tard le soir. Petit dejeuner buffet copieux et menus du soir à 16€ corrects. Nous recommandons cet hébergement malgré les petits bémols.
