It was a very nice with a full kitchen, including refrigerator. There was a modern bathroom with a nice shower. The room is on the 11th floor of the building but there's an elevator so no problem. It was quiet on that floor. You're really close to the train station which is great. Claudio, the host, the good job communicating with me during my stay and was attentive to anything I needed.

This property was very clean and conveniently located to visit the Valley of the Temples. Self check-in was easy. Although the web photo looks like the apartment has a sea view, it is actually located in the middle of the city and the view is of apartment buildings and a railyard. The sea is miles away. The area felt a little sketchy to us, but the host assured us it was safe. Still, there was an incident involving police in the parking lot while we were there. Parking was scarce. The apartment itself was compact and comfortable. The host was accommodating and communicated quickly.

Nice large place - just a few minute walk to the old part of the city. The room was clean and plenty big for two people.

Plenty of places to eat nearby. Finding a free parking space was a bit of a challenge when we first go there, but we finally found one close by.

Mauro was helpful when we had questions or need some local information.

Agrigento was late in our traveling, meaning were were rather tired and used this stay to relax and enjoy the views from our 11th floor room. We did visit the Valley of the Temples...really good!

The staff were wonderful and responded to any concerns we had promptly. The lift to the floor was rather slow but we used the time to sing a song and see if we could finish the song before the lift got the 11th floor. It helped make the ride fun.

The view we had out of our window was to the south including the coast line area and the Mediterranean sea. Very beautiful.

We had a great stay here, there was parking close by (free), only a short walk to cafes and restaurants and easy to drive to Valley of the Temples. Our host gave us lots of options for food and drink, the bakery was lovely and cafe had great croissant. The little treats left in the fridge and homemade cake was delicious. Free parking nearby was busy but we managed to get a space. Thank you 😊

Our room was one of three rooms carved out of an apartment and turned into an Air B&B. So, you get the key from a lock box and let yourself into the apartment building. However, once you are in your room, it is clean and neat and everything is provided for you. When you text the manager (whom you rented from) he is very attentive and gave us great recommendations for drinks and dinner.

The apartment we had was on the 11th floor with an elevator. It was very comfortable with a sea view and small balcony. Our room was equipped with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle and dishes. The host provided continental breakfast the afternoon before so that is available the following morning. You can actually see the Temples from the room. It was clean and very comfortable. We would stay again.

Stayed one night. Check-in instructions were accurate. Had a few issues with learning how to use the AC and safe, but host was really helpful. Host made dinner reservation for us; it was wonderful. Homemade snack and breakfast items awaited us upon arrival. We enjoyed them all while sitting on the 11th floor balcony of the room enjoying the view of the sea. You can also see way off in the distance the Valley of the Temples. The only negative is that you can hear the next door guests while you are in the bathroom. If you are claustrophobic, be advised that the lift/elevator is very tiny and you have a slow ride up to the 11th floor. Would definitely stay here again.

Host was ver nice and shared a lot of advice with us on place to eat, things to do, etc. Check in was easy. The B&B is only 5 to 10 mins to the city center. We were also given some home made ice cream made by the host and it was very tasty. Would recommend staying here if you plan to going to Agrigento.

So much to appreciate. The host, Mauro, was so helpful. He arranged a private tour of the Valley of the Temples with an excellent guide as well as making a reservation for me at a very good restaurant that I thoroughly enjoyed. The baked goods and other breakfast items left for me were homemade and delicious. My room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped and just a 5 minute walk to the train station and a couple of minutes puts you in the heart of the old city center. Lovely view of the valley from the balcony. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Amazing view from the 11th floor. Host Mauro was very good- excellent communication about arrival and ongoing needs etc and just the right amount of thoughtful attention. Our reservation didn't include breakfast, but there were lots of goodies in the fridge anyway including some delicious pastries apparently cooked by Mauro's mother! We had a great stay and can thoroughly recommend it to other travellers.

Small but cozy apartment, a very short walk away from the main street with plenty of good options for dining. The apartment is on the 11th floor. The elevator is small (3 people) but convenient. Having breakfast on the balcony makes the day: a 180 degree view of the coast and the entire valley of the temples. Breath taking. The host is super nice.

We just had a lovely one night stay at B&B Miravalle. We arrived on a Saturday and had plenty of street parking out front. To check in, there is a buzzer to the left of the door - from there Claudio will tell you which elevator to take to your apartment. Lots of room, clean, a beautiful view of the temples and the breakfast was amazing, plus a fridge stocked with snacks and wine. Don't miss walking the hill up to the main street in town - lots of restaurants and shops up there. Very close to the Valley of the Temples - would definitely stay again!

The B&B is in a very convenient place close to Valley of the Temples. The apartment is in a great condition, sparkling clean, and very well equipped. We were greeted by Mauro who helped us with free parking and gave us good tips on exploring the town. The continental breakfast is one of the best we ever had with homemade cakes and marmalade in addition to yogurts, cheese, etc.

We absolutely loved this b&b. The room was spacious and sparkling clean. The bed was very comfortable and the view was amazing. The quality of the food was amazing as well as delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a better room or location In Agrigento. There is a lift for the property since it has many floors. Parking is free on the street out front. We found a space easily but noticed they started filling up quickly by around 6 in the evening. The trains run out front but we really didn’t hear much except when we were on the balcony. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy more of their delicious food and to see other nearby sites.

This is a great value for the dollar. Let me start by praising our gracious host, Mauro. He is a true professional and gentleman. He is a wealth of information and helped us plan our time in Agrigento. The entire premises are very clean, the beds are super comfortable, and the bedroom had an amazing view looking over the Valley of Temples. The breakfast was plentiful and Mauro even left us some home made white wine. Sincerely, our stay was a pleasant experience. You are about 7 minutes driving distance to the Valley of Temples ... The old town is a brief walk up the hill. It had been some 20-years since we last stayed in B&B so don’t expect an expansive lush lobby area. This is a no frills building, and there nothing wrong with that. Maybe we became travel snobs over the years, so set your expectations straight. Free street parking is available if you feel comfortable with that. As an option, there is an indoor parking lot up the hill and Mauro obtained a discount for us so we only paid 5 euro. Again, FREE parking is available on the street. Overall, a more than pleasant experience.
In Agrigento, do not hesitate to stay here.

Lovely B and B. Claudio could not have been kinder to us. The place is spacious, well decorated and absolutely spotless. Our breakfast was very good and included marmalade from his farm and homemade cannoli. He also makes wine on his farm using Nero D’avola grapes which is delicious. It’s only 10 minutes from Valley of the Temples. Highly recommend.

It was like renting an apartment in the city with a view of the Mediterranean! Enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the small patio overlooking the sea and the Valley of the Temples. Appreciated the air conditioning as it was quite warm the day that we arrived. Mauro was very accommodating! Enjoyed the home made baked goods, jams, and vino!

Comfortable clean and convenient apartment

We stayed at B&B Miravalle Agrigento after a day out at the valley of temples and were welcomed by Mauro. He gave us a tonne of information and pointed out some recommended eats both in Agrigento as well as other places and his family made wine was very nice indeed which we were able to sample! Apartment was spotless and a great size, comfortable bed and all the amenities you could need. A shame we only stayed one night, very close to main street and great view from the bedroom window! A warning the lift is very small so will be hard to fit a whole family in there plus luggage. You'll need a couple of trips. We had two small suitcases and two people and only just got. Street parking is available near by but do be alert! Some blocks around didn't feel too safe but that's the same with anywhere. Really recommend in any case!

Very good room with a view in Agrigento

All in all our one-night stay worked out very nicely. The room was perfectly adequate, the view was fantastic, and we had no issues with the car parked on the street below. The home-made breakfast items were just perfect, and the personal attention from the owner family was very appropriate. The street, close to the railway tracks, has a somewhat rundown feel, but it is not dangerous, and it is a short walk up the steps to the main tourist thoroughfare, Via Atenea. La Concordia restaurant also recommended for dinner.

Great stay in Agrigento

Claudio, a gracious and extremely helpful host, showed us a lovely time at his apartment in Agrigento. The room was clean, spacious, and we were provided with a wide range of Sicilian treats from Claudio's farm.

His location is ideal and he gave us a very thorough introduction on arrival. One suggestion (which is true across all of Sicily): contact Claudio and arrange parking before you arrive.

The MiraValle BnB is very convenient to the train station which is where you catch the bus to Valley of the Temples. It is a 10 minute walk straight down the street. The dining options are in that same area so everything is very walkable.
I was able to find parking on the street just behind the building.
The BnB is on the 11th floor of an apartment building. It has a balcony which is lovely for sitting outside. It can be a bit noisy as it is near the train tracks and it is a city neighborhood.
There is also a clothesline and clothes pins for hanging up laundry, which was greatly appreciated.
Claudio is a wonderful host and was always available to assist with any issues I had.
There were lots of options for breakfast.
He does not have a credit card machine so it is a cash only situation which was OK for me.

The ancient ruins of Agrigento are very much worth the trip. The town seems mostly unattractive except for the small 'old town area' which is nice to visit and eat at.
From B&B Miravalle you can walk uphill straight into the old town lanes. Our apartment had a large bedroom with a view across the valley and over the ruins, a separate kitchen and a separate large bathroom. It was very homely with some home made snacks provided along with the breakfast. Thanks Mauro

Three of us stayed here for 2 nights. It's on the 11th floor with a balcony overlooking the Valley of Temples. There is a lift. The accommodation was spacious, modern and very clean. Our kitchen area had an Italian coffee maker, filter coffee maker and kettle. Coffee, tea and milk were provided as was breakfast cereal, homemade cake and cookies, yoghurt and other provisions. The location is very central for the railway station. If you arrive by car the owners provide you with a card with gives you free parking in the rail station. The historic part of Agrigento is lovely and within walking distance. The owners were very helpful and provided us with information on interesting places to visit. We couldn't have asked for better. We would definately stay here again and highly recommend it.

Accueil très chaleureux. Appartement au 11e étage, près de la gare. Magnifique vue sur la côte et la vallée des temples. De la place pour 4 enfants avec chacun son lit. Tous les détails de l'aménagement sont très bien soignés ( impeccables). Cuisine bien équipée, mais sans hotte. Laveuse. Délicieuses galeries inclues au petit-déjeuner. Stationnement possible sur demande. Salle de bain fonctionnelle. Planchers de céramique. La gare n'est pas très bruyante.
L'accès à la vallée des temples se fait à pied (30 minutes) ou facilement en bus. Bons restos à proximité. Le quartier est mixte.
