This hotel is located across from a restaurant complex so lots of options for food nearby. Mostly for lunch & dinner. Breakfast at the hotel is a limited menu but what they have is done well & freshly cooked. Price is reasonable for the area. The hotel restaurant is usually empty at lunch & dinner. The bar isn't busy in the evenings. Breakfast is busier & the waitstaff were friendly, fast & efficient.

This is a pet friendly hotel which worked well for us. The room was clean. Hubby inspected the room thoroughly before we brought our pet & belonging in. The room had 2 queen beds, a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tv, desk & small sitting area by the window. The bathroom was stocked with clean towels, a hair dryer, & hotel brand toiletries. There is also a small closet with an iron & ironing board.

All in all this is a decent hotel. If you're bothered by street noise ask for a quiet room. Our room faced the road & it was quite noisy for me. Hubby was fine with the noise though.

One of my reasons for booking The Hilton Garden Inn was because i loved the fact they have a salt water pool; however, there are no guidelines posted. As a result, from morning till 11.00 pm, kids took over the pool. It was noisy and loud, making it impossible to have adult time. We spent Saturday elsewhere to get some pool time.

It was a good stay, however upon arrival we noticed our air conditioner wasn’t working so we called down to the front desk. They sent someone up and he jiggled the thermostat and unplugged the unit to get it working. It worked for about an hour and then we noticed it stopped working again, they sent him back up and he did the same thing. This time it worked for a few hours and then again around 10:30 pm we noticed the room getting uncomfortably warm and he came for a third time and this time he couldn’t get it going so we had to switch rooms at 10:30 pm with 2 toddlers and a baby. The only drawback that I felt during our 4 nights stay was that the room was not clean earlier even when we vacated the room early in the morning. When we came back after lunch around two pm, our room was still not clean and we have to remind the cleaning staff and we have to wait half an hour at hotel lobby waiting.

The hotel was under renovations which made things quite difficult. Accessibility and noise were factors. Upon check in, we were given our keys, only to realize they had only given us keys for one room (when we reserved two).
I had to return to the front desk to resolve the issues.
We did complain and were offered breakfast. I told them we had to leave earlier than breakfast time and they said they would compensate us some other way. I was told when we checked out the front desk would handle it, but they said nothing at check out.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Appreciated that the blinds could be closed completely as there was a lot of light from neighbouring buildings
It would be nice if there was an overhead light near the beds, had to turn on multiple individual lamps - but there were lots of outlets for electronics
The pool was great and gym area well supplied with cardio machines , benches, free weights and a pulley system

A breakfast was not included, but available at restaurant, and there was a nice sitting/‘ounge area

The rooms are a nice size and the staff are above average. The lobby has plenty of seats to lounge around in. They need to fix their sprinkler heads which are too close to the sidewalk and are a serious trip hazard which I mentioned in my last visit over a year ago. I guess they don’t mind a lawsuit. Other than that it’s still a great hotel

Our check in went well and the staff at check in were great. Our room had cold air blowing and we told them about it before we went out for dinner. They had someone come in to check it and told us it’s fine. We called again later in the night before again it was cold air and we were freezing and they said they fixed it after looking into it for a few minutes however in the morning the air was cold again. Definitely not ideal and not a good night in that aspect.

We also had a do not disturb sign on our door and housekeeping walked in around 10am before we had gotten up. Luckily we were able to hear the door open and yelled to not enter. We were told by front desk that they had keys dropped off that had our room number and thought we checked out. It’s quite alarming since we had both of our keys with us and had obviously not checked out yet. They need a better system in place as this is not acceptable and dangerous.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and this weekend just wasn’t up to their usual standards. In a chilly room with heat that didn’t work (not freezing, just chilly), a light that kept randomly flashing all night despite being off and 3 housekeepers having a lively “debate” outside our door in the morning.

Not enough to deter us from staying here again but still not up to their usual levels.

The property pipe system needs to be upgraded. My room number was 410. The toilet and bathtub were backflow in the morning and in the evening. We ended up needing to switch to room 212 at midnight to resolve the issue. I have a group of 14 people all staying on the 4th floor. I am the group leader who, because of this issue, is creating a lot of inconvenience for me!

I thought the hotel was wonderful. I would’ve appreciated one of the lobby bars to be open at 5 o’clock to have a glass of wine before walking over for dinner. The lobby could be set out in a nicer way. It was cluttered and I feel the concierge’s desk should be at the front. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful Stay!

Top notch! Beautiful lobby with coffee available daily. Spacious seating areas with bar. More importantly, Beatriz was most pleasant and welcoming to this road weary traveller. Friendly and efficient! Room was spacious and clean, shower was hot, bed was comfortable.... morning came quickly. Incidentally there is a strip mall just across the parking lot with numerous restaurants to choose from. Although I was there for one night, I will surely return.
