Aleenta is a very special place with friendly staff. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual , yet the service is luxurious.
My husband & I chose to not leave the resort as the views from our room, the room itself & everything else about the resort was so pleasant & inviting.
This must be the most beautiful beach in Hua Hin...perfect for swimming & long walks .
The rooms are homely, with everything that you may need . The beds are standard length queen sized, which is a bit small for a tall / big couple. However, the luxury linens make one forget about that shortcoming.
There is an option to go \"fully inclusive\" which we opted for once we arrived. It includes all meals + a daily massage per person...a perfect spoil and so well worth it. Food was always of the highest standard , with each meal plated beautifully.
Our spa treatments were excellent & I highly recommend a Thai massage with Naa.
I think the fact that you are able to just WhatsApp reception for anything that you may need really makes your stay easy & enjoyable .
The options to have your meals served on your verandah or at the Beach club or restaurant, gives one some sense of variety .
Aleenta is far from the centre, so one should really just stay and enjoy everything that this beautiful piece of paradise has to offer.
We will surely be back. Thank you to everyone at Aleenta .

Out of the busy city life and noise, the place just give your body and mind a break. The place itself tells you to relax enjoy the fresh air, and listen to the nature sound of birds and the waves the of the sea.
If you like shopping that is not the place for you.
By the way, the seafood is so fresh!!

A blissful, secluded place where my wife and I spent an 8-day Xmas/NYE break and loved every aspect, starting with the amazing staff, then the beautiful room with our own plunge pool and sunbathing spot, then the exquisite food (and I mean every single meal), and finally the more public places to relax whether poolside or on the beach. Capping it off was a delightful NYE party on the beach, with everything on the house. We’ll happily stay again.

Chaba villa was great for our family of 4, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, a nice living room, with a very nice lawn with chairs and umbrellas facing the beach. Food was very good at breakfast and other times. Would definitely stay again if we are on the Hua Hin / Pranburi area.

Excellent service! The only downside is that the property is not located within the resort, which makes it slightly less convenient to access the resort amenities. However, golf carts are available for pick-up anytime, which is a helpful touch! The pool should have been cleaner!

This is a beautiful hotel right on the beach with beautiful views of the sunrise on the Gulf of Thailand. Staff is great, rooms were wonderful and their restaurant is delicious! Very clean all around. Very private. Perfect for a romantic stay. Pool and parking both just over 300m away. This requires some coordination with luggage and the hotel has a golf cart with driver. The pool actually is part of a separate beach club with poolside hotel rooms. We walked down the beach to the pool for an early swim. There are beach towels provided in your room. The pool was really beautiful, and big enough to get a good swim. But chairs and other poolside amenities are not available because they belong to the guest rooms at the beach club. So that was a little hassle but overall we loved it! The hotel is a long way from town, but the beachfront street has a lot of great little restaurants and the closest are within walking distance and the hotel has complimentary two-seat bikes for longer forays. Neighborhood is very safe and comfortable.

We stayed for 2 nights at this property. The 4-bedroom villa is situated away from the main resort; however, there’s a shuttle available for pick-up and drop-off. The breakfast offered a delightful array of fresh and delicious options from both Western and Thai menus. I appreciated the availability of a wellness menu as well. The villa itself was wonderful, though we encountered an issue with the nearby blue rental house being loud, which affected the tranquility of one day during our otherwise relaxing weekend. Perhaps staying during weekdays would ensure a quieter experience.

Service is like a 3-star hotel. Staff was running around struggling to handle the busy breakfast time. Requests sent through the iPad app provided in-room were not attended to by the staff. Reservation was made for the restaurant and the staff lost the reservation.

Beautiful property. We had a room with private plunge pool for 5 nights. I highly recommend. We didn’t swim in the ocean because of all the dead jellyfish along the beach. The hotel keeps vinegar handle for stings. Yikes! My only complaint is that I wish that there was a little more privacy between the yards. There are a few shrubs separating them and when you are out on the lounge chairs, you are basically sitting next to your neighbours. We had two neighbours who kept looking over into our pool area. More privacy would really enhance the place. Breakfast was good. You order off a menu so not buffet style. There is a great Italian restaurant up the road and a few Thai restaurants. Skip Torto and go to the one set back behind what appears to be a bar frequented by expats. They have great Pad Thai and Papaya salad. The massage place it fantastic. Oh and you can buy everything in your minibar for 90% less at the 7 eleven up the road. It’s literally a 5 minute walk.

Aleenta is a 40mins drive from the main Hua Hin beach. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, away from the crowdedness of central Hua Hin, this would be the perfect place as the beach Aleenta is facing is untouched! We love it! Would suggest you rent a car here as the eating places are at least a 7 to 10mins drive and there is no public transport/ride-hailing here. You can choose to cycle around but it can be quite dark (at night). One thing about Aleenta is that its premises are all not in one area, and so, Aleenta has 2 tuk-tuks minis to ferry guests between the main location, ancillary residing location (aka called Frangipani) and carpark. Had quite a rude shock when we entered the room. Doesn't quite look like the pictures you see online and it is small. Furthermore, the place only provides the basic toiletries i.e. shampoo and conditioner, body lotion. So please bring your own toothbrushes and toothpaste. Nonetheless, the service is great! Staff responds fast and are very polite. Breakfast variety was not extensive but very decent. I would (strongly) encourage guests to bring mosquito repellent.

I booked for Pool Residence, expected to received exactly what was in the picture. When we checked-in we were shown that are room is different than the picture. It's square, not round. It was an end unit. My suggestion to the hotel. You might want to put more pictures and explained that you have 2 types of rooms for Pool Residence. I was disappointed. The view wasn't as nice. I expected a wider view with the round room. The service was great. Massage package was awesome.

First stayed at Aleenta Pranburi 8 years ago and it was a lovely peaceful hotel and location, we commented at the time that no doubt in a few years time the area would become over developed and spoilt. Thankfully it has hardly changed at all, the area is quite and peaceful but not isolated and there is plenty to do should you wish close by and within easy reach. The hotel itself is as the majority of reviews say, lovely, the food great and the staff the best. If like most people you have researched this hotel and area and like the look of what you see and am sure you will not be disappointed. If you are planning a fist trip to Thailand maybe stop in Bangkok for a few days on the way there of going back to break up the trip and see both sides of Thailand

Excellent ocean views with a relaxing ambience

I would highly recommend this hotel to others who are looking for total relaxation and pure simplicity. The amenities are very basic for a 5-star experience, but the ambience is extremely soothing. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Chaba villa, which was not connected to the main wing of the hotel, but you could easily call for a tuk tuk. The views were spectacular with your own private lawn (lots of privacy), but the interior could definitely use some remodeling. Need larger windows with that kind of view. I get that they are trying to create a quaint and natural (minimalistic/back to basics) look and feel, but the bathrooms were not up to par with a 5 star brand (not even close). Shower smelled like sewage in the guest bath when we ran the water initially (yuck)! The beds were comfortable with high quality sheets. Hotel staff aims to please overall and are extremely gentle. Front desk staff at the main reception could use better training (seemed frustrated due to multiple requests from us, and was texting on personal cell during busy hours), but all other service personnel were on point.

Check in was great. We felt welcomed and the process was efficient, but we checked in at the Frangipani wing - and not at the main reception area, due to the location of our villa. They were able to pull off a private bbq on the beach with crystal chandeliers in less than 3 hours notice. They generally require at least 24 hours in advance. Highly recommend this experience. Very memorable.

Must be adventurous to find this resort. If you ask any local they know. It is very peaceful and tranquil. Could use a little more attention to detail if this is a 5 star resort. The restaurant needs more attention to conditions, it was very hot eating there even in the evening. Maybe you could position more fans for comfort. The staff were top-notched. Very friendly and courteous. The room however needs more attention to total cleanliness. The bed had sand in it and also what looked like coffee stains on the top sheets, I didn't appreciate this at all. You did provide nice amenities; however, for a 5 star I would have thought more attention should have been given. The ambiance of this resort is perfect for relaxation and especially if you want meditation, couldn't find a better place. I love no TV, no radio, no interference at all. Loved the spa in the front of the room, made it perfect. I would return here to this resort in the future and as for sightseeing, this really isn't the type of resort to go to in order to see things. You need to want total relaxation to stay here, perfect place

Beautiful and well appointed boutique hotel

A good distance away from the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin proper, you will need a motorbike or car to get around unless you are okay relying on the hotels decent but rather expensive restaurant. The facilities are adequate and well maintained, but this is really best suited to those wishing to spend time alone and not needing much in the way of entertainment. Spa and restaurant services are very good and staff are well trained and attentive. Good kite boarding facilities nearby. The beach is quite decent when the wind is blowing from the south other than October through February when the winds are from the north and the sea is up against the breakwater all day, and the beach all but disappears.

One Year Wedding Anniversary

We spent our one year wedding anniversary at the beachfront pool residence. The room was airy, spacious and the view in front of us was just so beautiful. Beach access right in front of our room with a cute hammock, sun beds and a plunge pool. The private beach candle light dining under a beautiful canopy was absolutely memorable and stunning! We miss Aleenta Hua Hin already and would love to be back soon!

I could say never go here and try and keep the Aleenta one of those hidden gems..But after the bustle of Bangkok this couldn't have been better.. The Frangipani rooms although a short walk from the main reception and restaurant they have amazing ocean views across the direct access infinity pool. The beach is 10 meters from your room and what better way than to stroll down the beach paddling in the sea to breakfast or dinner and an even more romantic walk back. When you return on an evening your room had been turned down. Hire a Moto scooter from Mr Moo and be certain to have a massage at the half moon. Here they can organise trips, taxis etc, head south to Dolphin Bay and beyond on your scooter and savour all thie natural beauty thus coastline has to offer. Next to the Half Moon there's Kite Surfing .. Ian an English guy and his family will look after you, have a go if the conditions are good, these guys are experts in marking you feel at ease and they'll have you hooked.

Great Romantic Getaway!

September 27th at the beautiful and secluded Aleenta Resort in Pranburi, Thailand. A nice romantic candle-lit dinner for two under the stars on the edge of the Gulf of Thailand. The water illuminated by the green lights of squid fishing boats all along the coast. Lighting flashes over the water in the distance. Our dinner prepared by the kitchen of Michelin chef, James Noble. The moment was perfect, the ring was pulled out of the pocket, and I asked Vicky to be my \"phanrayaa\". To my delight she smiled shyly and answered \"YES!\" A night we'll never forget!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Aleenta. The staff was very courteous, the grounds were beautiful, and everything was top-notch. And we absolutely loved the beach-front cottage with an incredibly comfortable bed, a nice hammock on the porch, and a private jacuzzi. We can't wait to return!

Aleenta deserves 5 stars for its excellent environmentally conscientious approach to the operation of this hotel resort business.
It is an excellent retreat for couples or individuals. The location is again 5 star, on the beach - you can't beat that. Incredible views. The management and staff I interacted with are 5 star and were very helpful in all aspects. I would caution families with young children to do your due diligence before booking. Make sure you are going to get the room you were expecting and be aware that this is a small exclusive hotel resort that cannot be all things to everyone so be prepared to compromise a little and you will have a wonderful holiday. James, the manager, lives up to the wonderful praise you will see in many reviews. A consummate professional and a gentleman, a tremendous positive influence on this resort. His colleague Jump, is clearly following in the same mould.
There are some small issues that need to be addressed but these are deferred for obvious reasons. The tiling in the pool at the Frangipani Wing needs repairing but is not unsafe. Just wear and tear and it's a big job to close the pool and complete this work during a busy season. Reception staff need a little bit more training and strengthening English language skills would be a big plus. Otherwise, the quality is there. An excellent resort where you know the staff and management's heart is entrenched. A rare find in Thailand.

The separated wings is a major turn off.

Dislikes:
- Hotel separated into 2 wings requiring shuttle to get to breakfast. And parking lot is in a 3rd location.
- Room not connected to pool despite hotel website claiming all rooms have direct access to pool.
- Nothing much around hotel.
- No TV in room.

A perfect get away from it all location. Quiet and unspoilt. the hotel is small and provides high quality service and amenities on a lovely beach side location. Not for those who want night life and excitement, but ideal for honeymooners or anyone who wants to chill relax and re charge thier batteries. The food was great, for breakfast lunch or dinner, both european and asian cuisine availableThe spa provided top quality therapists.The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended. Our only gripe - minor works were being carried out in the restaurant for our week's stay and the manager failed to make an appearance and discuss the inconvenience or apologise for the disruption. Which slightly tainted an otherwise wonderful experience.

Not up to standard in any aspect. My room had no plunge pool, was at best spartan inside. A table, two chairs and a wardrobe, that's all. A dreary IPod dock and an hair-dryer(broken). The sea view was obscured by the two properties in front, and the main pool is a 200 meter walk up the beach, and not worth the walk anyway. The beach is nice, though spoiled by a pack of wild dogs, who use it as a toilet. The location is remote, there is very little to do outside the hotel. Pricey, pretentious and dull. Much better and cheaper hotels are available in the area, choose this one for one or two nights only, and spend the rest or your holiday seeing Thailand.

Lovely quiet relaxing hub

Lovely hotel in quiet area. Staff very helpful and friendly and seem to remember the smallest details. Will leave you alone if that is what you want, but there to suggest if you want to go something!
Transport pretty expensive, but taxi companies just outside resort much cheaper and did us just fine.
Loved the cooking class and dinner on the beach.

In general, it is a nice hotel and all staffs are excellent. The hotel location is just a bit far away from downtown, I need to drive around 35 mins to downtown and night market. It would be a bit late when we finished shopping and walking around from downtown, so that we didn't have spa in Aleenta. I would like to remind the guests that will drive to Aleenta that the hotel location in Google Map is incorrect, please look for \"Aleenta Resort&Spa\" instead of \"Aleenta Resort & Spa Hua Hin\", it is about 15 mins driving distance.

It isn't 5 * but love this hotel and will be back

This is my second time in 6 months in this hotel.

It is a small hotel in an absolutely wonderful setting- the best. Stayed in the palm beach suites and the view straight onto the deserted beach is absolutely stunning.

The hotel isn't perfect, but I would forgive anything for the location of the rooms. It is very much a couples retreat and one of the advantages is the privacy afforded by individual luxury huts that make up the complex.

I could go on about that beach forever.

Some guests complained about the fact that the resort isn't in perfect repair (although the gardens are maintained to a stunning level). The bathrooms are a little worn and the rooms are very simple with minimum storage. The pool in the main complex is not a pool (more like a bath) and the gym is 3 machines. The aircon machine in the room we had this time was very noisey.

However, the idea is that this is a retreat and you spend most of the time outside. The layout of the hotel is amazing. The food is really good (if a tad expensive when bench marked against other local offerings). And, the location and view- as I said, I could go on about this forever.

Oh, and the only people that know about this beach are the Thai millionaires that have the most amazingly designed low rise pads.

So, don't expect large 5* hotel standards, but do expect a real treat.

Tips: Massage place as you turn right outside the hotel is the best and Col's kite surfing is 200m after turning right out the hotel.

Only issue would be that staff need to brush up their english...and the fact yhry didnt have a great variety for veg or non meat eating people. One day pumpkin was on the special for 3days . One day i asked for an iron i got onion rings.. We just took it in has jest..
The hotel and view were awesome.the staff friendly and catered to your needs .. I would recommend this hotel. But only if you would to spend your to chill n relax

The only disappointment that we had was that while we booked an \"ocean view\" room, upon arrival, we realized it simply meand the front of the room/windows are facing the ocean side - since the building is situated behind another building, we see none of the ocean.

My husband and I loved our recent experience at Aleenta. EXTREMELY peaceful wished we had a few more days to enjoy our surroundings. 10days would be my recommended stay, not often you want to just lay about in your space in a resort but Aleenta is so inviting and peaceful you just want to find a spot & curl up with a book and absorb your surroundings. This hotel has a very quiet location if that's what you prefer. However in saying this you will be limited to where you can go and eat unless you arrange transportation.

Also make sure you get full confirmation of the room that you want before going there.

Lovely break, just not long enough

Atleenta is a wonderful \"get away\" hotel. The hotel is small and very comfortable, situated right on the sandy beach. The rooms right on the beach are very comfortable and have their own splash pool. We would have liked a comfy chair in the roon though. We noticed that there were guests dining under the stars which would have been wonderful, however we did not do our homework and didn't realize you could until it was too late. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, however if you were staying a few nights, it never changes. The breakfasts are made to order, rather like a buffet without having to collect it yourself. This way it is freshly cooked as well. The spa is busy, so I would suggest you book as you check in should you want an appointment. We look forward to a return visit.

We stayed Frangipani suite #203. It was upstairs so we had big rooftop terrace only for us. The room and the bathroom were spaceous, very recently beautifully renovated. Service was top, even short bedtime story was placed on the pillow.
Breakfast and dinner were delicious, both included plenty of options. And if you did not feel like walking to the main building where restaurant was (even if it was only a couple minutes walk), they picked you up with golf cart.
We can highly recommend Aleenta Hua Hin Pranburi.

This is not a five-star hotel – we have stayed at four-star hotels that were much better.

The hotel is very close to the sea, and our room had a beautiful view. However, the online photos are misleading – they make it look like a small boutique hotel with everything nearby, but in reality, the large pool shown is about 400 meters away.

Near our room there was a small pool with a nice view, but no shower. There are also no sunbeds on the beach.

Maintenance and cleaning were below even four-star standards. After heavy rain, the steep stairs to our room became wet and dirty and were only superficially cleaned the day we left. It looked like they hadn’t been washed for weeks. The room itself was nice and clean when we arrived.

One thing that really surprised us was the slipper policy. Normally, we expect hotels to dispose used slippers, and we usually take them home to reuse rather than letting them go to waste. But here, we were at check-out told we had to return them. My wife actually had to open her suitcase in front of reception to take out the pair of used slippers to hand back. Honestly, that felt both awkward and unnecessarily petty. First time ever we have experienced this. We now wonder how many had already used the slippers we were wearing?

On the positive side, the staff were very kind and friendly, though they spoke little English.

The food was delicious – both lunch and dinner excellent, and breakfast nice despite a slightly overcooked omelet the first day.

Ich hatte das Zimmer 205 mit direktem Zugang zum Pool und zum Strandabschnitt von der Terrasse aus. Das Personal ist jederzeit freundlich und auch hilfsbereit. Das Hotel teilt sich in 2 Abschnitte die ca 800 m auseinanderliegen. Bucht man die Poolvillen kann man jederzeit sich mit dem Buggy abholen lassen und sich am Restaurant absetzen zu lassen und umgekehrt. Natürlich kann man auch einen kleinen Morgenspaziergang am Strand entlang machen. Beim Frühstück wählt man aus verschiedenen Speisen aus der Karte aus. Jeder Tisch bekommt außerdem ein Auswahl an verschiedenen Broten, Croissant , Obst, Butter, Marmelade und Kuchen am Tisch serviert. Somit entfällt ein Gang zu einem Buffet. Man kombiniert dann nur noch mit Kaffee oder Tee und verschieden Säften die abgefüllt schon bereitstehen. In der nahen Umgebung findet man einen 7Eleven und reichhaltige Gut Bars und Restaurant für Lunch oder Dinner. Auch hier kann man den Transfer vom Hotel jederzeit in Anspruch nehmen. Die Minibar im Zimmer ist reichhaltig zu wirklich fairen Preisen gut bestückt. Ferner findet man in unmittelbarer Nähe auch eine Ladestation für ein E-Car (etwas langsam aber erfüllt seinen Zweck)
Fazit: das Aleenta ist wirklich eine Empfehlung wert - klein aber fein!

Quiet days by the sea

Very cosy small boutique hotel. We had the beachfront rooftop suite which was excellent with amazing sea view from the bed and a private sun deck on the rooftop.
The bed was especially good and not hard like most beds in Thailand.
Very service minded staff, always smiling and doing their best for your comfortable stay.
Amazing breakfast with lots of opportunities.

The area is very quiet so we recommend to rent a scooter to get around. Excellent roads and very little traffic.

If you are looking for a quiet stay this is the place ❤️
