The room was very clean, with a very nice modern lakeside decor. The available amenities in the room were all modernized, and there were plenty of plug-in’s available for device charging.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I found lacking at all was the bed. My back was not a big fan, but as I’m very picky about my bed, that is mostly on me.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place. It’s probably even more scenic during the summer.

We definitely enjoyed the atmosphere of this hotel but the spa jets are loud and hard to enjoy, our neighbor left their porch light on so a lot of light came through the shades making it hard to sleep, and our room was right outside the lobby/breakfast bar so we were awakened at 5 am to cabinets closing and breakfast preparation. Otherwise the views and overall feel of the surroundings are great.

Always a great experience! Manager Austin was extremely helpful. So was Carmen. Didn’t eat breakfast this trip, but it’s always good. The views of White Lake are spectacular, Montague Foods grocery is across the street; both Montague and Whitehall downtowns are walking distance—great food and small town night life!

We usually come to Weathervane in about twice a year once in the summer and once in the winter we love to walk around the town we love to ride on the trail we love all the local shops including the bookstore the record store the clothing store and the outdoor store which you can rent electric bikes from. The hotel is clean the rooms are great and the view is awesome. They have really good coffee in the lobby and a decent breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is sometimes you can hear kids and dogs so I bring a white noise machine and it completely eliminates this issue

Everything was great, the jacuzzi bath was near, great location! Only thing is when I called and asked if they had a bassinet for our baby, i was informed to ask at check in. The day of check in the lady laughed like I was stupid letting me know there was no bassinet and they hadn't had one for awhile. How am I supposed to know?

We had a great weekend. We parked our car at check in and left it there until check out. Everything needed is within walking distance even in winter during a significant snow. JimmyZ Pub had good burgers and service at very reasonable rates. The workers at the Weathervane were very friendly and quick to help with anything. We’ve stayed a few times in different seasons and we’ll definitely return!

Basic cleanness was good. They do a good job of keeping the surfaces and floor clean, everyday. My room was in good condition. Two things I wasn't happy with. The hot tub needs a good maintenance cleaning. I flushed the jets with hot water, 3 times. Frist flush, cleaned out pubic and other hairs, and other objects. Second one, less debris. Third, totally cleaned out. Yellow mold build up around the jets. The AC/heat unit filters need cleaning filters, low flow.

We were unlucky enough to have one of those rooms that the door opened almost directly to a breakfast table. Fireplace pilot light wasn't lit. In-room jacuzzi was noisy and yet jets didn't really do much. Breakfast wasn't much. We moved to another motel for more privacy and better experience. Too bad because location was great for Montague pumpkin fest. Also, night staff was not friendly. Morning staff much better.

The location was perfect....right in the middle of where we were going.The room was very clean/spotless, the bed was reallt comfortable and the staff was wonderful. They were very on top of things. They even baked chocolate chip cookies every evening for the guests and their complimentary coffee was also delicious (Magnum Cherry coffee). I will definitely be staying there again.

It is an older inn but charming. Had room with private jet tub but sign on it when we arrived that it was out of order 🙁. Bonus was chocolate chip cookies put out in the evening. When we pulled up upon the property, I was a little concerned because the exterior just seemed a little dingy…the exterior could use a pressure washing. But outside of that, our experience otherwise was fairly good! Our only other issue was our AC unit in our room never really caught up with getting our room extremely comfortable for us overnight. But the facility inside and amenities were all very nice otherwise!

Overall i really like this hotel. The staff was very nice and accommodating any time i have questions. Its in a nice area as well.

My main issues is the cleanlyness. I have been in 3 different rooms, and all of them were gross. One of them had food on the bed as if an employee took a break and ate on the bed.

My son is one and was crawling on the floor for about 10 minutes and his knees and feet were black. Caked with dirt.

I would absolutely stay here again, but theh really need to clean the carpets. Its just gross.

The view from our room was beautiful , the overlooking the lake and marina. The room had a fireplace and beautiful jacuzzi.
Hotel staff had to apologize for our booking’s mistake. My confirmation was for two queen beds, but this hotel only had two rooms total of that description, and both were occupied. We enjoyed our stay despite this mistake by the third party.

We booked the premium corner king room through Expedia.com. I was on the Expedia site and my husband was on the Weathervane site. The same room was available on both sites for the dates we wanted. The Expedia site rate was about $60 less than the Weathervane site, so we booked through Expedia. Upon arrival at the Weathervane we were told our reservation was not for the corner room and that the hotel was fully booked. I contacted Expedia who said they tried to call the Weathervane but couldn't get through. Needless to say, my husband and I were very disappointed. Expedia said they would try to contact the Inn for any compensation. Never heard back regarding that, but Expedia did offer a $75 one-key cash for our inconvenience, which we have not received yet. One key cash can only be used on pay now in full and refunds are either not available or limited if you need to cancel
I suppose most of this is a review of Expedia but the Weathervane Inn desk person did not offer any resolution except sorry we're full, although when we booked that room WAS available on the Weathervane site. So, we still don't know which site messed up our reservation. Also, rooms on the first floor are next to the tiny breakfast area. There are 2-person breakfast tables staggered between the doors of each 1st floor room. This leads to lots of breakfast noise and conversations outside your room beginning at 6am.
