The staff were the best!! I even ate snow for the first time being with a staff member!! I”m from California and never been in a snow storm!! It was the most beautiful creation by God that I have ever seen. Just watching the ice sickles grow everyday was breathtaking. Also went for school and they made sure I took some breakfast before the breakfast bar had opened. Lastly to love transparent I’m Black and was in a small rural area and everyone was welcoming and loving! I would stay there again a million times.

I didn't find out until I checked in that the hot tub was not working. We were also told upon check in that if we needed clean towels we would need to bring the dirty ones to the desk and exchange them for clean ones because our room would not be cleaned during our two night stay. Other then that the room was clean and the staff was nice.

First of all the front desk clerks. Each person running the desk was friendly. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. The room was nice and cozy. The cable tv was good for all sorts of channels it had. One improvement was i wish it brought up only 1 guide when hitting guide. They could have given more info about programs on the channel.

This is an older facility and needs to be updated a little but it is very clean, they have a nice indoor pool, and their nightly rates are great, especially for families with children. It is located just off a main interstate freeway but it is very quiet. The breakfast offered each morning is the same menu everyday and kind of limited but they offer fresh coffee, hot tea, and ice water 24 hours a day which is really nice. The best part of our stay was the service offered by the staff. They could not have nicer or more helpful with recommendations for area dining and shopping. They were actually a highlight for our visit! If you are on a budget this is a great place to stay.

Yes, it was comfortable. Spiders in nearly every corner at the ceiling of each room. Drapes falling off the rod. Never got a receipt, although i asked that one be emailed to me on the way out the door as the agent was on the phone trying to fix someones cancelled reservation.

This property could use a refresh. The bathrooms were old the showers did not look clean. There was mold underneath the caulk. The floor of the showers looked dirty so you felt that if you took a shower, you would end up being dirtier than when you went in.
One of the rooms smelled very stuffy when we first came in and still smelled the next morning. Made me think of cat urine.

The young lady at the counter is the best - I stay at a lot of different hotels and she's the best I've encountered.

Please remove advertisements that you have a hot tub. That is untrue!!

Weird smell in lobby upon entry.

Also, room did not have a sofa, rather a dining chair.

Although George was nice, some comments were inappropriate.

Loud guests above us and barking dog in hall made sleeping difficult.

When we checked in our first room smelled like cig smoke, thet apologized up and down and moved us to a 2nd room which hadnt been cleaned at all. Leftover food in fridge, bathroom esp the shower was so dirty. They they upgraded us which the room was much better. Im typically not a complainer nor do i leave reviews but the GM was there the night we checked in and understood and took our concerns seriously.

Older, rooms, bathrooms need upgrade, could use additional fine tune detail to cleaning. But overall rooms were clean and comfortable. Front office staff, was excellent, I can’t say enough high praise about them.
Also I can’t thank them enough not only in treatment of my family who arrived very late but how they treated other families with respect, professionalism and hospitality. Breakfast was hot, and just enough, the staff was on top of it.. I appreciate the quiet time beginning at 10 pm. Plus those traveling with fur babies were treated with care and respect.

This was a family trip. Everything was great the customer service was excellent. The only thing is the pool was extremely cold. We were shivering in the pool and left about 20mins later. I mentioned it they said they would check the temperature next day was the same. Breakfast was really good too.

Just okay stay.

Our family needed a fun day away so we traveled thirty minutes to this hotel and we had a great time. Overall, the hotel was really just okay. There aren't many option in our area for hotels, so I'm not complaining. We would not hesitate to stay again because it wasn't a bad experience, but we'd first probably look in G.R. for something different.

Some things that we weren't impressed by...
-the pool was nearly out of towels
-hot water for tea in the lobby was cold
-the lemon water in the lobby was NEVER refreshed our entire stay. We checked in at 4pm, checked out at 10:30am and the lemon water had four inches and was disgusting of old rind taste.
-the continental breakfast was just okay. Not many options for someone who doesn't go heavy on carbs.
-Pool was MAJORLY overchlorinated.

Some things we enjoyed..
-Our suite had plenty of square footage.
-The rooms were cleanly.
-The beds were very comfortable.
-Check-in and check-out were smooth.
-Staff was friendly.

We stayed here for a funeral and the staff was so helpful, friendly, considerate and compassionate.

The rooms are also oversized vs a typical hotel. We had 2 queen beds and a king bed and the room was large width with a table and desk and dressers. Clean hotel also.

Susan and the entire staff at this hotel are top notch.
They are kind, courteous, and helpful in every way.
Whether it is information you need about the area or the washing machine breaks down and they volunteer to finish your laundry in the laundry room, this staff goes above and beyond their titles.
The breakfast is always ready and delicious.

The shower floor and the tracks for the glass shower door were not very clean. There was also a sticky spot on the carpet in the middle of the room. Both my significant other and I broke out from either the cheap detergent or the over chlorinated pool.

We stay here about 4-6 days a month. We love the staff and the breakfast is good. It is always clean and this hotel is the only one with an inside pool. It is so convenient right off the highway. Not too far from Michigan Adventure and 30 minutes from Silver Lake sand dunes.
