The property is clean and looks like its been updated, but i don't think it could be classed as a 4 star.
The staff were not that friendly or helpful.
Asked to see the spa before paying to use it, and initially this was declined, but eventually allowed to see it (no one was using it at the time).
The breakfast was good. General service at the bar was ok. Definitely would not recommend eating in the restaurant for dinner.

the spa is not included in the hotel. there is a discount but it is not free. good news is that it is not expensive. however when asked to go see it before i bought the entry i was told it could not be seen, so i would have had to firat buy a ticket then see it. felt a bit like a scam. so of course i did not go in. otherwise it looks nice, breakfast is very nice and the location very nice. for off season in november it was a good price too

Staff spoke no English. Breakfast was awful. Spa and facilities were laughable. Massage was painful. Hot tub was freezing. Rooms were not soundproof so very noisy on Friday night with parties below. shower not attached to wall and no shower curtain so completely soaked bathroom.

This Hotel looks great

Great from the outside but disappoints when you get inside . The staff are unfriendly and unsociable . The Hotel hosted 4 evening parties outside in the pool area during our 7 night stay which were loud and went on until past midnight.
Good location close to a town with plenty of resturants to try.
No tea making facilities and the breakfast was very poor .

Great stay! nice spa!

The hotel is a great fine in the area. The town is not far away about 3-5 mins drive. Buzzing town during dinner time. Lunch at the hotel was good. I had massage and manicure at the spa, it was great experience. The hotel was clean and as shown in picture. we enjoyed our stay. Will recommend this area if you are visiting. Breakfast buffet was average breakfast choice.

Lovely hotel in quiet area.

Very nice hotel in quiet hotel but 10 mins.walk from pretty town. Nice comfortable room. Great breakfast. Kind and friendly staff. Town only 10 mins.walk away for restaurants, bars,shops and cafes. I had 2 beautiful spa treatments and would definitely reccomend. I would like to go back again.

Very pleasant but...

This is a very nice hotel and the room we had was superb. The service is very good in general BUT in the end we were very disappointed because, unfortunately we left something behind in the room and when we remembered, less than 12 hours later and contacted the hotel, we were advised it was \"too late\" and they had already \"thrown away\" our property.
So, if you go, enjoy your stay, but make sure you leave nothing behind!

Lovely stay, but website misleading

The hotel was lovely, very modern, very well equiped, free wi-f- etc and staff were very helpful. Fab restaurant which is great for dinner if you don't want to leave the hotel.

The problems we encountered were that the hotel advertised a fitness suite, but when we arrived, we discovered it had ben turned into a couples massage room and the website had not been updated.

We stayed in a separate outbuilding which had a lovely little private patio. We didn't choose to be here, but it was a welcome surprise. The only thing was the free wifi was only available in the main building. Not a massive issue for our stay, but for a business customer, it is worth noting and requesting to stay in main room.

Aside from that, very pleasant stay, would definitely recommend. Ruvo is small, but a nice town, not far from Bari on train or if you want to stay in the town, there are nice restaurants there, a few shops and a market too.

Very good quality hotel in a good position for the town. Very nice room and a great welcome pack on arrival. The hotel restaurant was very good quality with excellent staff.

The secure parking in an underground garage was also superb.

Five stars for Hotel Pineta/Ruvo

The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The service was excellent. We had a room with a water view of the Adriatic, however, it was a bit away. The breakfast buffet was very satisfying and adequate. I would recommend this hotel without any reservations.

Superb hotel in a quiet and charming town

Superb hotel with a lovely view of the distant sea from the rooms. Rooms are spacious and modern. The pool area is great for having a relaxing time. The hotel restaurant is very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Had a massage in the SPA facility which was great. Only two minor points... they could have given sauna facilities for free (instead of charging 25£ per hour) and the wifi signal does not work in the room.
Overall we had a great beautiful stay at such a reasonable price.

Nice hotel

Stayed for three nights at the end of our annual holiday. The hotel is modern, clean and has all the usual services including free wifi and car parking. The rooms are not particularly large but do represent the usual modern built hotel and have expected facilities. Pool is good size with loungers but was prone to guests \"bagging\" loungers with towels early in the day and not materialising until much later. Very selfish and disrespectful but it happens. Breakfasts are ok again usual fare. Good place to stay if using Bari airport as only 30 min drive.

Excellent modern hotel near enchanting town

A well thought out superbe modern hotel - hugely helpful staff. Very secure gated compound 600m from centre of town. Well signed from main roads but still a bit difficult to find. Puglia is well worth a visit as an ancient small town, particularly at night. As with many European hotels there was no coffee or tea making facilities in room. Nevertheless we had an excellent stay.

La Pineta - the sleek, modern look

We chose this hotel as a base for visiting Puglia - Grotte Castellana, Alberobello and Gargano. We wanted something modern as opposed to traditional, and were very pleased with our choice (especially as we were given an upgraded room). We had one dinner at the hotel (we were the only diners). Very attentive service, but fairly ordinary, bland cooking.

Very good hotel

This is a lovely hotel, very modern and new. Rooms are very spacious with air conditioning, but our room was very hot. We tried to regulate the air conditioning but it appears to be pre set. We could not open the window either and it was the second day of our stay that one of our party hit the switch (by accident behind the curtain) to open the window. Breakfast was very good with a great variety of fruit, cereals, meat, cheese, yogurts and much more. We also had dinner in the hotel and it was equally good. The hotel is about twenty five minutes from the airport so it is advisable to hire a car. The hotel is within walking distance of the town of Ruvo and as our time was limited we did not get to explore the town fully. The hotel also has a very nice pool with plenty of lounging space around it.

nous avons eu un peu peur en arrivant car fete d anniversaire tres bruyante dans l espace de reception mais heureusement le calme est vite revenu et nous avons passe le reste du sejour au calme, aussi parce que pas beaucoup de monde a l hotel. personnel disponible et souriant. le petit dejeuner pourrait etre ameliore et la climatisation metiterait sans doute une petite revision (nous avons demande une seconde cle pour la faire tourner en permanence). salle de bain a rafraichir. literie de qualite. par contre le village de ruva est sans interet (mais a quand meme une ZTL donc attention pour les non residents) et il faut obligatoirement faire quelques kms et aller sur la cote pour diner. quelques bonnes adresses a Molfetta.

Avevamo bisogno di un paio di giorni di totale relax e così è stato. I servizi della Spa , l’ottimo ristorante e la cortesia del personale hanno fatto il resto. Camera sufficientemente grande e comanda. Torneremo sicuramente.

La struttura è bellissima e molto ben tenuta. Immersa nella campagna, garantisce un riposo ideale. La camera è spaziosa e pulita. Il buffet della colazione potrebbe essere migliorato ma sicuramente di ottimo livello.

La struttura è davvero carina, pulita e comoda. Dotata di comodo parcheggio e personale disponibile. Le camere molto ampie e belle. L'unico aspetto negativo è che spesso la sera ci sono ricevimenti \"coloriti\" con musica ad alto volume e ospiti che invadono la hall. Quando siamo arrivati non riuscivamo nemmeno a sentire e parlare con la receptionist... L'indomani mattina la quiete. Ruvo è un gioiellino e i dintorni meravigliosi.

the pool was closed... I had booked this specific hotel because there was a pool. it is not normal to advertise for a pool but they closed it... and I still paid the same Price. they told me at the reception that if I wanted to use the spa, I would get a discount, but it is not the same. I wanted to swim. besides, my work pays for my hotel with a pool, but wouldnt pay for me to use the spa. they should have let me use the sauna or something at the spa for free. it would have been fair. at least, I wasnt paying myself, my work was paying. if I had to pay from my own Money for this room, I would have been very unhappy and I would have asked for some money back.

personale gentile e competente alla reception. camera al primo piano con finestra sul retro dove è posizionato un compressore molto rumoroso che parte a frequenti intervalli regolari. impossibile dormire con la finestra semi aperta. non ho fatto presente la cosa perchè ho soggiornato una sola notte. se l'hotel non era pieno, mi si poteva offrire una soluzione migliore (chiedendo forse l'avrei avuta, ma come detto, sono arrivato tardi e ho soggiornato una sola notte).

Il telecomando in camera non funzionava.
Durante l'orario della colazione, parte fondamentale dell'inizio di una buona giornata, la sala era un via vai di personale che traslocava sedie e tavoli da una stanza all'altra senza curarsi dei clienti che cercavano di fare colazione.

Hübsches zentrales Hotel

Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, aber sehr gepflegt.

Die Wellnessanlage befindet sich neben der Garage und wir durften sie leider nicht besichtigen.

Das Hotel wird oft am Wochenende genutzt für Party oder Hochzeiten usw.
Leider war unser Zimmer nicht gut isoliert und wir konnten fast nicht einschlafen.

Un accueil glacé sans aucun sourire. On nous informe que la piscine est fermée, motif fin de saison??? on discute et on obtient qu'elle reste ouverte jusqu'au lendemain...
la chambre très bien, le petit dej suffisant mais pas luxueux. Pas de fruit frais?? dans un pays gorgé de soleil c'est étonnant. La situation de l’hôtel nécessite un GPS, petite route et peu d'indication. Il faut absolument voir TRANI, une merveille surtout au soleil couchant (c'est pas loin en voiture, 30 minutes et de très bon restaurant dans la ville (pas sur le port).

Sosta di una notte dalla visita a Barlwtta, Trani e Castel del Monte. Utile la piscina per affrontare la calura del turismo estivo in regione. Anche la Spa è moderna e piacevole ma andrebbe tenuta più pulita. Parcheggio disponibile e ristorante accettabile.

We booked this hotel because they had spa, outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant. We booked it through hotels.com and when we arrived we are told that the restaurant is closed on sundays and so are the spa! We were very dissapointed and especially we felt that hotels.com should have informed about this and then we would never have booked the hotel in the first place.
The day after we decided to book one more night with the hotel since the restaurant and spa are open on mondays. We enjoyed a day at the nice pool and the lunch was very good too. At 4 pm we were ready to use the spa, but we were told the entrance fee was 12 euro per person. I have never in my life paid extra to enter the spa when I have booked a \"spa-hotel\". This was very dissapointing and again I blame hotels.com for not informing about it on the website. So in total: the room was nice, hotel staff was very nice, the pool is nice, the lunch was good, the breakfast was just ok(but I think in Italian standard its quite good), the extra fee for spa was very dissapointing and that the restaurant and spa was closed on sundays was very dissapointing.

Ideales Hotel als Standort für Ausflüge

Das Hotel liegt am Rande der Altstadt von Ruvo di Puglia direkt neben einem Park (das Krankenhaus ist auch in der Nähe). Parkplätze waren immer ausreichend vorhanden. Tagsüber kann man gut Ausflüge in die Umgebung machen und abends waren wir meistens zu Fuß zum Essen in der Altstadt. Ruvo di Puglia hat eine sehr schöne, gepflegte historische Altstadt mit vielen schönen Plätzen, die zum Verweilen einladen. Hier gibt es einige sehr schöne und gute Restaurants (unser Favourit war das \"La Chicca\", ab 20 Uhr geöffnet, am besten - da nicht so groß - mit Vorreservierung). Das Restaurant im Hotel war auch sehr gut, hat aber Sonntag abend und bei Großveranstaltungen allerdings geschlossen. Das Frühstücksbüffet war für italienische Verhältnisse sehr reichhaltig, das Personal sehr freundlich. Abends steht noch die Hotelbar zur Verfügung.
Am Anreisetag (Sonntag) kamen wir erst um 22 Uhr im Hotel an und bekamen dann noch etwas zu Essen in einer Pizzeria, die etwa 300 Meter entfernt liegt (immer am Rand des Parks entlanglaufen, dann findet man zwei Pizzerien).
Angnehm war auch, dass man die Zimmerfenster (es gibt zwar eine Klimaanlage) kippen kann und so abends angenehme frischere Luft bekommt.
Jetzt im April ist der Pool leider noch nicht nutzbar.

Es war perfekt für eine Reise im April

Ich kann überhaupt nicht meckern. Alles hat toll geklappt und jeder war sehr zuvorkommend.
Die Lage ist perfekt als Ausgangspunkt und auch der Außenbereich ist ein Traum.

Was etwas nervig war war das wir ein Zimmer hinten raus hatten und man das Fenster nicht offen lassen könnte da Maschine alle 10 min sehr laut gebrummt hat. Und auf dem Nachbargrundstück ein Hund die ganze Nacht gebellt hat.
Also wenn ihr fahrt dann fragt wegen einem Hotelzimmer vorne raus zur Poolseite.

Posizione interessante per una visita della Puglia

Molto soddisfatti per la scelta di questo albergo funzionale alla visita di numerori siti della Puglia centrale.
La struttura risponde esattamente a quanto riportato nel sito e si trova in posizione ottimale sia per raggiungere siti sulla costa che situati all'interno.
Inoltre il paese di Ruvo di Puglia si è rivelato una piacevolovissima sorpresa che ci ha permesso di passare piacevoli giornate arricchite da cene in locali tipici di ottimo livello e rapport qualità/prezzo.

personnel pas aimable avec peu de professionnalisme, le petit dejeuner c'est une horreur produit de basse qualité.
Concernant la chambre elle n'est pas propre. Hotel très bruyant à cause des nombreux mariages qui sont leur principale préoccupations le client qui vient pour l'hotel est laissé de coté
